Khushi Kapoor's old interview choosing Ahaan Panday over Aryan Khan resurfaces; netizens say ‘If she was in Saiyaara…'
Back in 2019, much before she made her acting debut, Khushi Kapoor joined her actor sister Janhvi Kapoor on Neha Dhupia's talk show. During her appearance, Khushi was asked to choose a co-star for her debut film. The list included Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan Panday and Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan Jaaferi. Khushi replied, 'I have only seen Ahaan act out of the three of them, so I guess it would be like, the safest option.' However, her sister had a different opinion. Janhvi, who made her debut a year ago with Dhadak (2018), shared, 'I would want her to debut opposite Meezaan.'
Khushi went on to debut in 2023 with The Archies alongside SRK's daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and her rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina. Well, netizens are glad Khushi was not a part of Ahaan's debut film. Under this viral interview, one such social media user opined, 'If Khushi was in Saiyara it would have flopped. Aneet's acting was a major part of the success,' whereas another netizen claimed, 'Thank godddd this did not work out!!! She would have ruined his debut and the movie would have tanked really bad!!' A fan of Ahaan's wrote, '6 years old post. Now every nations actress would choose an Ahaan pandey film over other projects. Bro has literally killed it and how, while being so humble and passionate about the art form.'
Khushi and Ahaan are yet to announce their next films. Meanwhile, Aryan is all set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming Netflix show The Ba***ds of Bollywood. We wish them all good luck!

Dhadak 2 Twitter Reviews: Netizens laud Triptii Dimri-Siddhant Chaturvedi; say ‘You cried at Saiyaara, now...'
With their past performances, actors Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi have proven that they are versatile performers who thrive when given the opportunity. For Triptii, it was in films such as Bulbbul (2020) and Laila Majnu (2018), whereas Siddhant left a lasting impression as MC Sher in Gully Boy (2019). So when it was announced that the two are coming together for the first time in Dhadak 2, a college romance where caste plays the villain, audiences were obviously intrigued. Well, their film arrived in theatres this Friday and has already dethroned Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara. At least that's what early reviews suggest. Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Dhadak 2 After watching a first day show of Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi's Dhadak 2, a netizen shared, 'FACTS: #Dhadak2 will not be a bigger hit than #Saiyaara in terms of Box-office. But Dhadak 2 is a better film than Saiyaara for sure. DHADAK 2 ONE OF THE BEST WRITTEN AND PERFORMED FILM OF THE YEAR,' whereas another Twitter review read, 'You cried at Saiyaara? Good. Now watch Dhadak 2 and cry for something real. This is the kind of cinema that actually says something No melodrama. No glam. Just the raw truth of caste, class, and injustice.' Another impressed fan shared, '#Dhadak2 hits you and how!! I can't really recall any recent movie which has been this effective in shedding light on a such a sensitive subject and showcase the brutality with such honesty. Amidst the Saiyaara craze, we've literally lost a movie that deserves way lot more!!! Plus #TriptiiDimri, in a genre like this where she excels, is the cherry on top. Her outburst scene and the pre climax portion is so well executed ,and its literally a blow to all her haters who've been spewing hate for her recent script choices. She's so good as Vidhi ❤️.' Ahaan and Aneet-starrer Saiyaara continues to rule the box office. But it looks like the Mohit Suri romance has paved the way for other Bollywood love stories amid the recent surge in action movies, with Dhadak 2 being an example. Are you planning to watch Triptii and Siddhant's film after reading these rave reviews?

Saiyaara Box Office: Blockbuster run continues Overseas in Third week, UK Goes Berserk
Saiyaara is headed for yet another blockbuster weekend at the overseas box office, kicking off its third week with a fantastic USD 800K Friday. The Friday business is just 34 per cent down from last week and 70 per cent higher than the first Friday. The third weekend is projected to be around USD 2.75 million, which will be one of the biggest ever. Remarkably, the film raked in more overseas than it did in India yesterday, despite being a massive domestic blockbuster. The film has tapered off a bit in India in the last couple of days, but the rampage continues overseas. The United Kingdom, already in mental mode, cranked it up even further with a staggering GBP 150K yesterday. This marks a 12 per cent increase from the same day last week, which itself was a huge number. Notably, the biggest third weekend for an Indian film in the country is GBP 282K of Pathaan, which Saiyaara will surpass in just two days. The UK will comfortably cross GBP 2 million on Sunday, and now GBP 3 million is starting to look like a very realistic target, if not easy. The film maintained its strong momentum in other markets as well, holding its own against the biggest blockbusters. The United States scored USD 165K, down just 28 per cent from last week. The gross numbers are comparable to those of Pathaan and Jawan. In the UAE, Saiyaara clocked nearly USD 150K, second only to Jawan in recent times, while Australia grossed AUD 70K, placing ahead of Pathaan and Animal and second only to Jawan. The total overseas gross for Saiyaara stands at nearly USD 13 million; it will be close to USD 15 million by Sunday. It remains on course to cross USD 20 million, though there will still be some work to do in the next two weeks. That said, when it has held up so well so far, it is likely it will continue to do so further as well.

Saiyaara To Dhadak 2: Internet Spots Striking Similarities In Recent Hindi Film Posters
Bollywood fans noticed striking similarities in posters of recent Hindi films like Saiyaara, Dhadak 2, and Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, calling out the 'copy-paste' trend online. Bollywood fans are known for their sharp eyes, and this time, they're turning their attention to film posters. A growing number of social media users have pointed out the uncanny visual similarities between posters of recent Hindi film releases — Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2, and National Award winner Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor's Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, among others. From the framing of romantic leads where they stick their foreheads together to almost-identical backdrops and poses, netizens have taken to platforms like X and Instagram to share side-by-side comparisons, calling out what they describe as a 'copy-paste' trend in Bollywood poster design. A user circulated the similar-looking posters of Bollywood's recent slate of films and Reddit was quick to comment. First, watch a video here: An Internet user shared a poster of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's Satyaprem Ki Katha and compared it to Saiyaara poster. The netizen wrote, 'Saiyara is also very close to this. The colour scheme is too similar." Yet another compared it to Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. Another argued, 'I mean how much innovation do you want for romantic films? There will only be select few poses." 'Everyone is doing this in their shadi pics too!", quipped a fan. Other arguments included some defending the aesthetic overlap as a popular industry style, while others urged designers to bring back originality and creative risk-taking in visual marketing. Meanwhile, YRF's Saiyaara has been a rage with its storytelling, cast and songs. The film has gone on to become one of the most profitable projects of 2025, amassing a box office collection of over Rs 300 crore worldwide. As for Dhadak 2, the film starring Siddhanth and Triptii started slow at the box office. The film clashed with Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2, a franchise with a loyal fanbase. On Day 1, Son of Sardaar 2 raked in an impressive Rs 6.75 crore, comfortably surpassing the day 1 earnings of Dhadak 2, which managed Rs 3.35 crore. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring Vikrant and Shanaya, opened with a strong buzz. However, the film underperformed at the box office, earning Rs 1.61 crore.
