'Salute On Behalf Of My Father…': Hafiz Saeed's Son Addresses 'Anti-India' Rally In Pakistan
Top intelligence sources said the presence of Pakistani politicians alongside Talha Saeed shows the country's institutional support of terrorism
A video of UN-proscribed terrorist Talha Saeed – son of 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed – has emerged in which he is purportedly inciting violence against India, during a public rally at Lahore in the presence of Pakistani politicians on stage.
The video clip from the rally, which was held on Wednesday (May 28), shows Talha Saeed welcoming the speaker of the Punjab assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan, on stage along with other politicians. Posters of Field Marshal Asim Munir can also be spotted, alongside those of Hafiz Saeed.
According to top intelligence sources, this shows Pakistan's institutional support of terrorism. Under the guise of appreciating 'Operation Bunyan al-Marsus', when Pakistan tested its nuclear weapons, all the extremists are back together on the same stage.
The intelligence sources told CNN-News18 that the presence of Talha shows that the extremists are celebrating the Pakistan Army under state sponsorship. He also named key Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Saifullah Khalid during the rally.

P Chidambaram Responds To Controversy Over 'Evidence' Remarks On Pahalgam Terror Attack
Congress leader and former Union Minister P Chidambaram has addressed the political storm surrounding his recent comments on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. Chidambaram, in an interview, questioned why the attackers have not been apprehended or their identities revealed, asking, 'Why have you not apprehended them? Why have you not even identified them?' This led to accusations by the BJP, notably Amit Malviya, who claimed that Chidambaram and the Congress were giving a "clean chit" to Pakistan. Responding to the controversy on social media, Chidambaram criticized what he called the 'worst kind of troll'—those who distort interviews by sharing only selective clips. He stated that such actions misrepresent his position and spread misinformation. He also noted the lack of comprehensive official information about the case, highlighting that details have been released only piecemeal by various officials, while there has been silence from top ministers. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), meanwhile, has arrested two local men alleged to have assisted the terrorists and maintains that the attackers were Pakistani nationals, although their names have not yet been released. Chidambaram continues to challenge the narrative, suggesting that the possibility of 'homegrown terrorists' should not be dismissed without clear evidence and transparency from the authorities. Chidambaram is scheduled to participate in the upcoming parliamentary debate on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, where these issues are expected to be discussed in detail.

Agency: PTI Last Updated: Bangkok, Jul 28 (PTI) A gunman shot dead five people at a food market in the Thai capital on Monday before committing suicide, according to media reports. The incident happened at 12.38 pm at the Or Tor Kor market, known for high-quality fresh fruit and seafood. The dead included four security guards, the Bangkok Post newspaper reported. The gunman was found dead on a bench inside the market building, dressed in a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts, the report quoted police as saying. Police recovered an ID card and a driving licence identifying the deceased as Noi Praidaen, a 61-year-old man from Khong district, Nakhon Ratchasima. Two women sustained injuries. Police said officers are investigating the motive behind the attack. Mass shooting incidents are not common in Thailand, but the country has seen several deadly incidents in recent years. In 2023, a 14-year-old boy killed two people and injured five others in a shooting at a luxury shopping mall in the centre of Bangkok.
