Anirudh Ravichander postpones Chennai concert amid huge ticket demand
The 34-year-old artist, who was set to perform at Thiruvidanthai, on the outskirts of Chennai, on July 26 as part of his Hukum Tour Grand Finale, shared the update in a post on Instagram.
In a message on Instagram, the composer expressed his gratitude and explained that the decision to postpone the concert was made to ensure everyone could have a better and smoother experience. He mentioned that the current venue could not handle the "incredible love" and "overwhelming demand" from the fans.
He also stated that the team is working on securing a "bigger venue" with "more space" to match the energy and expectations of his audience.

Anirudh had earlier announced his Hukum World Tour 2024, which kicked off at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai in February last year and was slated to conclude with a grand finale in Chennai. (ANI)

'Bangalore Days' For long considered the bellwether of feel-good movies in Malayalam, Anjali Menon's Bangalore Days (2014) featured an array of stars — Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Parvathy Thiruvothu — and an engaging story of three cousins who move from Kerala to Bengaluru. Salmaan plays Aju, who starts off on the wrong foot with his brother-in-law (played by a restrained Faasil), but finds love and destiny in the city. Aside from Salmaan and Menen's performances, OK Kanmani is also remembered for AR Rahman's effervescent music score. 'Lucky Baskhar' One of Salmaan's biggest hits, the Telugu movie sees him portray Baskhar, a banker from the early 1990s, who wants to break free of middle-class living. Salmaan's character moves into the grey moral zone, ready to bend rules and turn the blind eye if it means buying fancy goods for his school-going kid and supporting his wife's business. Directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar boasts an ensemble cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Tinnu Anand, Sai Kumar and Ramki, and is best known for it realistic portrayal of Mumbai in the 1990s (think the Premier Padmini taxis, the Harshad Mehta financial scandal, among others) and a riveting finale. When Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan burst crackers outside Rakesh Roshan's room
It has been 30 years since Karan Arjun was released, but the film remains etched in the memories of fans for its epic tale and the legendary chemistry between its two leading men, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Now, a recent interview with veteran actor Ashok Saraf offers new glimpses into the mischief and camaraderie that defined the film's behind-the-scenes moments. Speaking to Radio Nasha Official, Saraf confirmed long-circulating stories of the pranks the Khans would pull on set. 'Yes, yes,' he said when asked if Shah Rukh and Salman used to burst crackers and fire fake guns outside director Rakesh Roshan's room. 'I never used to go wherever this was happening. Kisi ko sataana ho toh main door hu (If someone's being troubled, I stay far away). But yes, both of them used to have a lot of fun.' According to Saraf, the duo wasn't alone. Their frequent partner-in-prank was none other than legendary comic Johny Lever. Saraf added, 'With him, I'd also... well, I wouldn't join in the pranks, but I'd be around.' In an earlier Radio Nasha interview, director Rakesh Roshan recalled, 'They would be outside my room shooting guns. I would be sleeping at night and I would hear guns going off, bottles flying. I would ask them, 'What are you doing?'' Despite the disruption, Roshan has always spoken fondly of his two leads, whom he considered like sons. Shah Rukh Khan, in the docu-drama The Roshans, reflected on those days with equal parts nostalgia and sheepishness. 'Pinkie ji scolded me a lot,' he admitted. ''You are troubling Guddu a lot. I didn't expect it from you.' Between Salman and me, I was slightly better behaved—at least on the face of it. I was like, 'I didn't do anything. It's all his (Salman) doing.' We were two young kids, really troubling a father figure, to be honest.' Salman Khan wishes he'd heeded father Salim Khan's advice earlier
Bollywood star Salman Khan recounted the precious piece of advice he got from his father, the legendary screenwriter Salim Khan. He shared a thoughtful message that no one can force anyone to do something and wished he had heard his father's advice earlier; however, Khan said it's "never too late". Khan will don the army uniform in Apoorva Lakhia's directorial Battle of Galwan, based on the Galwan valley clashes at the India-China border in 2020.
