A 77-year-old Dover woman hit it big in the Delaware lottery in June, winning twice with the same lucky number.
The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, won a total of $60,000 from the PLAY 5 day drawing on June 9. She matched all five winning digits for a prize of $50,000, and she also had a second ticket with a boxed bet for another $10,000 win on the same five-digit number, according to the Delaware Lottery.
She purchased her winning ticket at Magic 7 Convenience Store in Dover.
The Dover woman picks her own numbers and used a number she saw on television that stuck with her, the lottery said.
She plans to save some of the winnings and have fun with the rest.
'We're always thrilled when longtime players hit it big,' said Helene Keeley, director of the Delaware Lottery. 'This winner's dedication and excitement are what make the PLAY 5 game so special. We congratulate her and wish her all the best as she enjoys her prize.'
The winning numbers from the PLAY 5 June 9 day draw were 1-0-0-0-0. The woman claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on June 10.
PLAY 5 is a daily numbers game in which you pick your favorite 5-digit number, then you choose a bet amount and bet type. You can play your favorite numbers day or night or both.
PLAY 5 drawings are held seven days a week. Day drawings are at 1:58 p.m. and play up to 1:40 p.m. Night drawings are at 7:57 p.m. and play up to 7:30 p.m.
Here's how to play PLAY 5, according to the Delaware Lottery:
Mark your drawing time: day, night or both (remember to use blue or black ink or a pencil).
Mark the number of drawings you want to enter, up to seven. To enter today's drawing only, leave this section blank.
To enter future drawings, mark one or more days up to a week in advance.
You can play up to five games on each playslip. For each game you want to play, it's as easy as ...
Mark four numbers, one in each column, from 0 to 9.
If you make a mistake, check the VOID box and use the next game panel; don't erase.
If you want the computer to pick numbers for you, mark the Quick Pick box.
Mark the amount you want to bet: 50 cents or $1.

Straight: Play any five-digit number. Must match winning numbers exactly.
Box: Play any five-digit number. Must match winning numbers in any order.
Front 4: First four digits must match winning numbers exactly.
Back 4: Last four digits must match winning numbers exactly.

Back 3: Last three digits must match winning numbers exactly.
Front Pair: First two digits must match winning numbers exactly.

Straight: The odds of matching all five numbers is 1-in-100,000.
Box: The odds of winning the box range from 1-in-833 for a 120-way box to 1-in-20,000 for a 5-way box.
Front 4: The odds are 1-in-10,000.
Back 4: The odds are 1-in-10,000.
Front 3: The odds are 1-in-1,000.
Back 3: The odds are 1-in-1,000.
Front pair: The odds are 1-in-100.
Back pair: The odds are 1-in-100.
