New England Patriots rookie offensive tackle Will Campbell has landed in the top 10 of EA's Madden NFL 26 rookie rankings. Campbell came in at the fifth spot, sporting an overall rating of 79.
Rounding out the top five were Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mason Graham, New York Giants edge rusher Abdul Carter, Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter.
Hunter was the highest-rated out of all the rookies with a rating of 84.
These rookie ratings should excite Patriots fans considering Campbell could be a cornerstone left tackle for years to come. Video game ratings are not the be-all and end-all, of course, but they can tell you the expected returns on a player.
Hopefully, Campbell helps solidify the offensive line and serves as a key piece for the Patriots this year. Protecting the quarterback's blindside was something the team struggled to do last season, and it would be a major disappointment if it's more of the same in 2025.

Bill Belichick roasted during Hall of Fame dinner speech over Jordon Hudson

.@MaryKayCabot with the one-liner of the year. I'm crying 😂🤣😂🤣(🎥 via Longtime Cleveland Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot absolutely roasted former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick while accepting an award from the Pro Football Writers of America. Cabot earned the prestigious 2025 Bill Nunn Memorial Award at the annual Enshrinees' Gold Jacket Dinner in Canton, Ohio, on Friday night, and she used part of her acceptance speech to rip into Belichick's alleged past treatment of her reporting. Cabot reflected on the times Belichick allegedly called to yell at her for her Browns reporting back when he coached in Cleveland. "If Bill didn't like something I wrote, he'd call and yell at me," Cabot shared in her speech. "If you asked a dumb question, he'd call you out. Eventually, I had to learn to stand up to him." She recalled how, during one alleged yelling match, Cabot challenged Belichick to treat her with the same respect of her male colleagues. She then delivered a devastating zinger about his relationship with the much, much younger Jordon Hudson. "Now, I totally understand why Bill gave me such a hard time," Cabot joked. "I was 28 at the time, and he just couldn't relate to a woman that old." The roars of laughter from the crowd said it all. That is a truly devastating one-liner, and Cabot deserves another award for how thoroughly she trolled Belichick for allegedly giving her such a hard time in Cleveland .

No. 36 Who's wearing it now: CB Kyu Blu Kelly A fifth round pick in 2023, Kelly has already had quite an NFL journey. He didn't make the roster with the Ravens who drafted him. Then he was claimed three times that season, first by the Seahawks, then waived and claimed by the Packers, then waived and claimed by the Commanders. Then after spending camp in Washington, he failed to make their roster and was signed to the Raiders practice squad. He would be elevated to the active roster twice last season before being signed to the roster for the final two games of the season. Now he's back for his third NFL training camp trying to keep from being on the cutting room floor come the 53-man roster decision in a few weeks. Who wore it best: CB Terry McDaniel McDaniel was selected ninth overall by the Raiders in the 1988 NFL Draft out of Tennessee. An injury ended his rookie season after just two games, but after that he was the picture of dependability for nine years, including eight straight seasons without missing a game. He made five Pro Bowls from 1992-96 and was twice a second team All Pro. He finished with 34 interceptions in a Raiders uniform. McDaniels holds franchise records for most defensive TD's (7), TD's off interceptions (5), defensive TD's in a season (3) most seasons leading the team in interceptions (6), consecutive seasons leading the team in interceptions (5), and interceptions in a game (3). A back from a different era, he average what at the time was a very impressive 875 yards per season from 1962-66 including a league-leading 1099 yards in 1963. He is one of just three Raiders backs to every lead the league in rushing along with Marcus Allen and Josh Jacobs. He is second behind only Marcus Allen in seasons leading the team in rushing (6) and 100-yard games (15) and is third in franchise history in career rushing yards (5103). And his career 4.5 yards per carry is fourth in franchise history (minimum 750 carries).
