The Italy Under-21 striker had spent last season on loan with Empoli. However, that loan deal came to an end, and the Tuscans did not sign him on a permanent basis.
Therefore, Sebastianio Esposito travelled with the Inter squad to the United States for the Club World Cup. He appeared in all four of their matches at the tournament, starting two.

It looks like virtually a foregone conclusion that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter this summer, however.
And there have been a few clubs to show an interest in the 23-year-old.
Fiorentina have certainly been pushing to sign Esposito after he had impressed with their regional rivals Empoli.

However, La Viola are not the only club eyeing up Esposito.
Cagliari have also made a big move for the 23-year-old recently.
According to La Nuova Sardegna, the Rossoblu have already made an offer to Inter. They have put around €7 million on the table to sign Esposito.
However, the newspaper add, Inter are still holding out for a higher valuation. They reportedly want a fee of around €10 million.

Broncos Predicted to Land Free Agent Receiver
Broncos Predicted to Land Free Agent Receiver originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Denver Broncos' offense exceeded nearly all expectations in 2024. The team selected Bo Nix with the No. 12 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and many in the building were excited about what Nix and the offense could achieve under the guidance of Sean Payton, even if it was fair to expect some growing pains from a rookie quarterback. Advertisement Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (2) catches a touchdown pass as Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. (33) as defends. Ken Blaze/Imagn ImagesKen Blaze/Imagn Images Nix showed a lot of positives in his rookie season, completing 66.3% of his passes for 3775 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions as the Broncos made the postseason for the first time since 2015. A positive for the offense was Nix's connection with Courtland Sutton, who arguably had a career year, catching 81 passes for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns. Sutton enters the season as Nix's top target once again. Still, the Broncos added pass-catchers Pat Bryant and Evan Engram through the NFL Draft and free agency, hopefully adding more pop to a receiving core that needed an upgrade. However, there could be more help for Nix and the offense. Per Seth Walder of ESPN, the Broncos are a potential destination for veteran receivers Keenan Allen or Amari Cooper, who are free agents searching for new teams. Advertisement In an article where Walder graded every NFL team's offseason grade, Walder handed the Broncos an excellent 'A-' grade, praising the team's direction and the moves made, but wished the Broncos did more at receiver. 'I wanted to see the Broncos do more at receiver. Besides counting on Courtland Sutton and Engram, they are likely hoping for Marvin Mims Jr. or Troy Franklin to break out. Perhaps they'll end up making a move for another veteran -- maybe Keenan Allen or Amari Cooper?' Walder writes. Allen spent the 2024 season with the Chicago Bears, catching 70 passes for 744 yards and seven touchdowns, while Cooper was traded to the Buffalo Bills midway through the season and struggled to acclimate, catching 20 balls for 297 yards and two touchdowns in eight games. Both remain free agents, likely because of their drop-off in play from 2024, and because of the healthy receiver landscape across the NFL. However, the Broncos have options at receiver already, and neither would need to come in and earn 120 targets, especially in an offense that could run the ball more efficiently in 2025. A move could manifest itself. Related: Broncos' Bold Draft Pick Jahdae Barron Poised to Shine in 2025 This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jul 13, 2025, where it first appeared.

FC Barcelona Announces Another First Team Transfer
FC Barcelona announced its second first team transfer of the day via a statement sent to the media ... More and its official website. FC Barcelona announced its second first team transfer of the day via a statement sent to the media and its official website. 'FC Barcelona and RCD Mallorca have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Pablo Torre. The Blaugrana club reserves a buy-back right and a % of the capital gain from a future sale of the midfielder,' the statement began. 'The Club wishes him good luck and success in the future, both personally and professionally,' it then added. On the official Barca website, the La Liga champion explained how, 'as such the player from Cantabria brings an end to his three year spell as a blaugrana after arriving from Racing Santander in the summer of 2022'. It noted how he spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Girona and in his two campaigns with Barca made 27 appearances, scored five goals and provided four assists, and showed 'evidence of his undoubted talent'. Yet the Catalans didn't shy away from touching on the fact of how 'under coach Hansi Flick competition in midfield was fierce with the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez in the squad'. 'Minutes were hard to come by but when he did feature he showed his class. Now, he has the opportunity to do so as a Mallorca player,' Barca concluded. Though Barca didn't provide any figures as per the amount of money Torre has been sold for, it was reported as $5.8 millon (€5 million) when the deal was being finalized. If accurate, this means that Barca has not made a loss on the midfielder who in his short time in Catalonia managed to win every trophy on offer in Spain including La Liga twice. At 22, Pablo Torre is young enough in that if he finally kicks off in Mallorca and earns regular minutes, he could be brought back to the Camp Nou and provide positional rivalry to the mentioned names above. In his first Spanish top flight match for his new employers, he could face Barca as it travels to Son Moix to take on Mallorca and starts a defence of its championship crown. This is the second transfer announced by FC Barcelona at the turn of the week Also on Monday, FC Barcelona announced that it had signed Roony Bardghji from FC Copenhagen. If he impresses Flick, the young Swede could stay in Hansi Flick's first team and mount a challenge to Lamine Yamal's control of the right wing berth.

Real Madrid complete signing of Alvaro Carreras from Benfica
Real Madrid have completed the signing of left-back Alvaro Carreras from Benfica. Carreras has signed a six-year deal with his former club, running to 2031, and is set to be presented to supporters on Tuesday afternoon. The Athletic reported on July 10 that the two clubs had agreed to a deal worth €50million (£43.18m, $58.42m) that sees the Spain youth international return to Madrid after spending time in their academy. Advertisement Madrid activated Carreras' release clause in his Benfica contract and are set to pay the fee in instalments following negotiations with the Portuguese side. They had been working on a deal for the 22-year-old for several weeks and had hoped to complete the signing before the Club World Cup, but Benfica also wanted him to represent them at the tournament in the United States. Carreras joined Madrid in 2017 from Deportivo La Coruna and spent three years in the team's academy before joining Manchester United in 2020. He never appeared for the senior side and had loan spells at English Championship club Preston North End and Spanish club Granada before joining Benfica in January 2024, initially on a sixth-month loan deal. The move was made permanent at the end of the season. Madrid have been moving to reinvent their defence, having already completed the signings of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool and Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth. They have also signed 17-year-old midfielder Franco Mastantuono from River Plate. Xabi Alonso was appointed as the team's head coach in May, replacing Carlo Ancelotti. Analysis by Real Madrid correspondent Guillermo Rai Madrid have lacked consistency at left-back due to repeated injuries suffered by Ferland Mendy and a lack of confidence in Fran Garcia in recent years, so Carreras' signing was key for Los Blancos. They previously explored the possibility of signing Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies in that position before the Canada international renewed with the Bundesliga side earlier this year. Carreras spent three years in the youth ranks at Madrid from 2017-2020 but a lack of opportunities led to him joining Manchester United's academy. The left-back shone there and was named their best Under-23 player in 2022, when he started training with the first team. Advertisement But the Spaniard was not part of Erik Ten Hag's plans and was sent on loan to Preston North End, Granada and Benfica. It was a wide range of experiences in the space of two years which saw him join Benfica permanently last year. Madrid will also be pleased to bring in another homegrown player, a key requirement for their Champions League squad, after the exit of several academy graduates over recent years. ()
