She has finished second on both starts so far but she is by No Nay Never and is a big, strong filly who will be suited by a strong pace over this trip.
SHACKLETON (3.05) needed the run over a mile and a quarter at the Curragh last time and it was a messy race. He will take a step forward for that. You must stay the trip round here and my horse will.
Some people out there still doubt LOS ANGELES (4.20) but that doesn't bother me. He's rock solid and I wouldn't swap him for anything.
The stiff mile and a quarter at Ascot will suit him well. Anmaat won the Champions Stakes in October and ran well when we fended him off at the Curragh last month. He's an obvious threat.
See The Fire has been supplemented at a fair cost and was impressive at York. She is a lovely filly but maybe she is better suited to the Knavesmire rather than here.
Map Of Stars was a little unlucky when second in the Prix Ganay and Ombudsman is a talented horse who I've ridden a couple of times. He might not want the ground as quick as it will be today.
I'm on THE LIFFEY (5.00) in the Royal Hunt Cup, who has been very well backed. He finished fourth on his first start for Joseph O'Brien in a Listed race at Navan.
That form has been franked, as the winner has gone on to win a decent race in France. There's plenty to like about The Liffey, but it's very competitive and lots of yards will think they have a well-handicapped horse.
I close with FIRST APPROACH (6.10) as Kansas is a non-runner. He was too keen last time and didn't stay the six furlongs so dropping back in trip is the right move. It looks wide open.

The service is set to take place in Sao Cosme in his home city of Porto, northern Portugal. Jota had married his high school sweetheart Rute Cardoso there just 10 days earlier. Hearses were seen arriving at a funeral home in the Spanish town of Puebla da Sanabria, northwestern Spain, this afternoon. The brothers were travelling through Zamora, Spain on the A-52 towards Santander, where they were to catch a ferry to the UK. The Portuguese ace had missed several matches last season after suffering a rib injury in October during a match against Chelsea. Jota was due to return to Liverpool to take part in the club's pre season games which start later this month. Emergency crews rushed to the crash site in the early hours of the morning and managed to put out the flames. Both brothers were tragically pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Zamora Provincial Council. Their bodies were taken to a forensics unit in Zamora so autopsies could be performed. "Exceeding the speed limit or poor visibility at night are often the cause of accidents in these areas." Jota played on the left wing and up front for Liverpool after joining from Wolves in 2020 for a fee of £41million. Liverpool FC paid a touching tribute to Jota as they said: "Liverpool Football Club are devastated by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota." They added that everyone at the club is still coming to terms with the "unimaginable loss". The club has opened physical and digital books of condolence. The Portuguese national football team have said they are 'devastated' by Jota's death. They added that he 'was not only a fantastic player with almost 50 caps for the national team, but also an extraordinary person who was respected by all his teammates and opponents'. His club described the loss of the 28-year-old as "devastating". Manager Slot has now penned his own heartfelt tribute for the Portuguese footballer, saying he was "loved by all". In a tribute shared on Liverpool's website, Slot, 46, said: "What to say? What can anyone say at a time like this when the shock and the pain is so incredibly raw? I wish I had the words but I know I do not. "All I have are feelings that I know so many people will share about a person and a player we loved dearly and a family we care so much about. "My first thoughts are not those of a football manager. They are of a father, a son, a brother and an uncle and they belong to the family of Diogo and Andre Silva who have experienced such an unimaginable loss. "My message to them is very clear – you will never walk alone. The players, the staff, the supporters of Liverpool Football Club are all with you and from what I have seen today, the same can be said of the wider family of football. "This is not solely a response to tragedy. It is also a reaction to the goodness of the people involved and the respect that so many have for the boys as individuals and for the family as a whole. The Dutchman also highlighted the late attacker's hard work, desire, commitment, great quality, and goals as a player. He then revealed his final conversation with Jota was to congratulate him for Portugal's victory in the Uefa Nations League and wishing him luck for his wedding. Dad-of-three Jota had married his high school sweetheart Rute Cardoso just 10 days before his heartbreaking passing. Slot continued: "When I first came to the club, one of the first songs I got to know was the one that our fans sing for Diogo. "I had not worked with him previously but I knew straight away that if the Liverpool supporters, who have seen so many great players over the years, had such a unique chant for Diogo, he must have special qualities. "That we have lost those qualities in such terrible circumstances is something we have not yet come to terms with. "For this reason, we need everyone at the club to stand together and to be there for one another. We owe this to Diogo, to Andre Silva, to their wider family and to ourselves." Slot rounded out his tribute by paying his respects to Jota's family and declaring that he will never be forgotten. He added: "My condolences go to Diogo's wife, Rute, their three beautiful children and to the parents of Diogo and Andre Silva. "When the time is right, we will celebrate Diogo Jota, we will remember his goals and we will sing his song. "For the time being, we will remember him as a unique human being and mourn his loss. He's played for Albion Rovers, Raoth Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Livingston and most recently Airdrie. He won the League One title with Partick Thistle in the 2020/21 campaign - his only silverware as a professional player.
