Bubba Wallace holds final playoff spot with 5 races left in NASCAR Cup regular season
Wallace finished seventh at Dover and holds a 16-point lead on Ryan Preece for the final playoff spot. Wallace entered Dover just three points ahead of Preece, who finished 19th Sunday.
Twelve drivers have won this year to claim playoff spots. Four spots remain available via points with five races left in the regular season.
Those four drivers in a position position without a win are Tyler Reddick (156 points above the cutline), Alex Bowman (+63), Chris Buescher (+44) and Wallace (+16).
Those below the cutline are Preece (-16), Kyle Busch (-39), Ty Gibbs (-52), Michael McDowell (-77) and AJ Allmendinger (-80). No other drivers are within 80 points of the cutline.

Guernsey FC will travel to Bedfont Sports in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday after the two sides drew 1-1 in their extra preliminary round tie. But Guernsey's record goalscorer Ross Allen levelled five minutes later as he deftly turned home Brandon Wallace's cross to send the tie to a replay. The two sides will meet at the Bedfont Recreation Ground on Tuesday night as Guernsey aim to progress in the FA Cup after returning to the tournament for the first time in eight years. HULLBRIDGE Sports host Basildon United in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup this afternoon. Elsewhere this weekend, Great Wakering Rovers head to Dunstable Town while White Ensign take on Sawbridgeworth Town at their Burroughs Park base. Iowa Speedway will play host to nearly eight consecutive hours of NASCAR as the Cup and Xfinity series hit the short track Saturday. The action at the 0.875-mile oval will begin at 11 a.m. ET with Xfinity practice, followed immediately by qualifying.
