Sana'a (Saba) – The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums recently published Issue 27 of the peer-reviewed Raydan Magazine, which includes a collection of archaeological studies and research on the cities of Jawf.
In the editorial, Authority Chairman Ibad Al-Hayal explained that the Authority is steadily moving toward collecting and studying sources of ancient Yemeni history, particularly inscriptions written in the Musnad and Zabur scripts.

The cleared items included: - 1,513 unexploded ordnances - 45 anti-tank mines - 1 anti-personnel mine Engineering teams managed to clear an area spanning 176,179 square meters, covering villages, roads, and key infrastructure previously contaminated with explosive remnants of war. Since its launch in 2018, Masam has removed tens of thousands of landmines and explosive devices, playing a crucial role in protecting civilians and rehabilitating affected regions across multiple Yemeni provinces.

Amran: Distribution of school bag project for martyrs' Children

Amran - Saba: The branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Amran province launched on Saturday a project to distribute school bags and textbooks to the children of martyrs across various districts of the province, coinciding with the start of the 1447 AH academic year. During the launch, Governorate Deputy Hassan Al-Ashqas and the educational sector official in the province, Zaid Rattaas, praised the Authority's initiative, which aims to alleviate the burdens on martyrs' families and encourage their children to enroll in education. They commended the efforts of those responsible for caring for martyrs' families, their hard work, and their dedication to supporting the martyrs' children. Both officials emphasized the commitment to supporting and encouraging the children of martyrs, giving them priority in recognition of their families' sacrifices in defending the nation. Meanwhile, the Director of the Martyrs' Authority branch in Amran, Ibrahim Al-Nono, explained that the project includes the distribution of over 5,117 school bags to the children of martyrs and missing persons in the province center and its districts. He noted that each school bag contains all necessary supplies and the first-semester curriculum, stressing that the project is part of the Authority's annual activities, reflecting its commitment to supporting martyrs' children as a minimal gesture of gratitude for the martyrs' sacrifices and heroism. The launch was attended by the Director of the Grievances Authority branch, Al-Qasim Al-Mahram; the Director of Amran District, Abdulrahman Al-Ammad; the Education Director of Amran District, Jamal Al-Qadi; and his deputy, Yahya Al-Houthi. Following the launch, a meeting was held, chaired by the Director of the Martyrs' Care Authority branch in the province, Ibrahim Al-Nono, and attended by the Authority's representatives in the districts, to discuss the mechanism for distributing school bags to martyrs' children in the districts. During the meeting, the Authority's educational official, Amin Al-Tammah, reviewed the tasks of the representatives during the distribution process. Launch of School Bag Project for Children of Martyrs & Missing Persons in Hodeida

Hodeida - Saba: The branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Al Hodeida province launched on Saturday the School Bag Project for the children of martyrs and missing persons for the year 1447 AH. The project targets 1,040 male and female students from the families of martyrs and missing persons across various districts of the province. This initiative is part of an annual plan adopted by the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, aimed at alleviating the financial burdens of the academic year on these families , providing a stable and supportive educational environment. During the launch ceremony, Governor Abdullah Atifi praised the project, which reflects the ongoing commitment to supporting the children of martyrs—the true embodiment of their fathers' sacrifices for the nation. He emphasized that caring for this group is both a moral and national responsibility, integral to the state's duties toward society. Atifi highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between the Authority, local authorities, and educational institutions to implement more projects that enhance family stability and nurture a confident, educated generation rooted in loyalty and patriotism. During the launch event, attended by Deputy Governor for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi, Ali Al-Sha'thami, Director of the General Authority's branch in the province, explained that the School Bag Project is a key component of a comprehensive program aimed at supporting martyrs' children educationally and socially. He reiterated the Authority's commitment to expanding its efforts across various service sectors.
