Dog Has Priceless Reaction When Told To Leave Grandparents House: 'Spoiled'

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The moment a dog realized his getaway at his grandparents' house ended went viral on TikTok, leaving viewers in stitches. Like children, dogs view their grandparents' house as a place to escape the rules. They receive endless treats, cuddles and couch time. Often, when the getaway ends, parents are met with resistance and barks, begging them to stay a bit longer. Owner Abby Treece, however, received the silent treatment. In her July 7 TikTok video, posted to her account @ybbatreece, she arrived at her in-laws' house to pick up her dog, Teddy. The home sits on a California beach, a special treat for the dog who is obsessed with water. Treece started calling for Teddy as she walked onto the deck. Unsurprisingly, she found him right at the water's edge. Instead of being excited to see his owner, Teddy only stared at Treece as if she had interrupted his playtime. The muscles around his eyes darted inward, and a frown overtook his face. Anger radiated from his body. He wouldn't budge. He had no plans on leaving anytime soon. The caption reads: "Spoiled boy doesn't want to leave the water." Screenshots from a July 7 TikTok video of a dog upset that his owner returned to pick him up from his grandparents' house. "...He's a big boy, so he gets the house pretty messy when he gets in and rolls around in sand after," she said. Begging and pleading with Teddy never works. So instead, they pretend they're going home without him. "We just eventually tell him, 'OK, bye Teddy, we're leaving!' Then he sprints in," she said. 'Fun Stealer' Within a week of posting, the TikTok video reached more than 1.2 million views and 438,100 likes. People flooded the comment section with what Teddy was likely thinking. One person said: "I'm not going home with you. This is paradise." A second user wrote: "Teddy, 'Oh great! The fun stealer is here to take me back to be miserable.'" "He is NOT happy to see you!" commented a viewer, while another added: "That's a grown man, enjoying his vacation." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? 'I woke up in a new Bugatti': Explaining the resurfaced internet trend

A TikTok trend from a few years back has resurfaced with countless creators poking fun at its execution. The trend, known as the "Bugatti Challenge," features people sitting on the floor, pretending to drive a car as someone off camera pulls their feet to slide them out of the frame. Videos are set to Ace Hood's 2013 hit, "Bugatti," with the popular line, "I woke up in a new Bugatti." But the most-viewed videos in the trend are actually those that don't go quite right. One of these videos was posted by Austin Skovran and Tiffani Chance, known for her role in the reality television series, "Little Women: Dallas." In the TikTok video, Chance is seen wearing a helmet as she is wiped off camera by Skovran at lighting speed. But when its Skovran's turn, the two laugh as Chance struggles to pull him out of the frame quickly. "I knew that wasn't going to work," Skovran says, as Chance falls to the ground. As of July 14, the video had more than 23 million views. What we know: Did Trump strike a deal with China about TikTok? Who planned the trip? TikTok trend reveals the unsung heroes of vacation planning In another skit version of the trend, content creator Ross Smith pulls the legs of his grandma, affectionally known online as "Granny Smith." But instead of Granny being pulled out of frame, Smith edited the video, or used props, to make it appear that Granny's legs were just ripped off from the knee down. "You guys win! This trend is now over ... can't be topped," on TikTok user commented on the video, which had more than 4.6 million views, as of July 14. And in some videos, the narrative is lost altogether, as pets are seen in frame before being yanked off screen. When did the 'Bugatti Challenge' start? The trend dates back to 2023. While the origin of the "Bugatti Challenge" is unclear, a video posted in March 2023 continues to surface on TikTok. In the video, with more than 16 million views as of July 14, a toddler is seen sitting on the floor before she is yanked off screen when the chorus, "I woke up in a new Bugatti" plays. "She's ok," the TikTok user wrote in the video's caption. What is a Bugatti? Bugatti is a French automobile manufacturer that specializes in luxury sports cars. The company was founded by Italian automobile designer Ettore Bugatti in 1909.
