Speaking to IANS, Sonakshi explained that she understands how the industry works. 'It's understandable that the story would be something else. The characters would not be the same. And that's completely fair,' she said, adding that casting decisions like these are part of the process. The actress, known for her roles in films like 'Akira' and 'Lootera', emphasized that she has worked in the industry long enough to accept such changes gracefully, calling it 'a small thing, not a big deal.

What's Happening in the Sequel?
The sequel, officially titled 'The Return of the Sardaar', stars Ajay and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, with Sanjay Dutt returning as Don. Sanjay Mishra will step into a role initially planned for Vijay Raaz, replacing the character originally played by Ravi Kishan in the first film. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the new installment is set to release on July 25.
Ajay recently shared a poster featuring himself in a turban on Instagram, writing, 'The Return of the Sardaar #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July.
