The cheapest package available with the new TV is Sky Essential TV, which comes with 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, and Netflix and Discovery+, all for just £15.
Combined, for £21 per month, viewers are effectively paying less than 70p per day for the TV and service.
Unlike Sky Q, which is currently being phased out, Sky Glass Air relies on internet connection to beam TV channels to your home, instead of a satellite dish.
This means that installation for the new TV service will be simple, as you won't have to get an engineer to come round and start drilling through your walls.
Sky Glass was launched back in 2019, but users were unimpressed with the thick built in Soundbar.
The broadcaster hopes that the thinner soundbar on the Sky Glass Air will tempt more Sky Q users to make the switch.
The new TV, which goes on sale today, June 10, comes in three colours - Sea Green, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White.
There are three different sizes, 43 inches (from £6 a month), 55-inches (from £10 a month), and 65 inches (from £13 a month).
"With Sky Glass Air, we're bringing the Sky experience to more people through a beautifully designed TV with stunning picture quality from just £6 a month," said Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW.
Sky Offers Free Movie Gift and More
"It's all about giving people better for less: more choice, great tech, and the content they love, without compromising on quality.
"From the ultimate performance of Glass Gen 2 to the incredible value of Air, there's now a Sky Glass to suit everyone, whether you're new to Sky or already with us."
Customers can also choose to pay for the TV set outright if they wish, with the 43 inch model costing £309, and the 55 inch set costing £509.
The 65 inch TV is priced at £649.
What are Sky's early termination fees?
SKY TV customers will incur an early termination fee if they choose to cancel their contract before the end of the agreed minimum term.
The amount you're charged depends on: How long is left of your minimum term from the date your subscriptions end, calculated in days
The days you have already been billed for in advance
The products you subscribe to, the price you pay for them and when your subscriptions end
For Sky TV, early termination charges range from £14.00 to £42.89 per month, depending on the specific package.
For instance, if you cancel a standard Sky TV package priced at £33.82 per month with 12 months remaining on a 24-month contract, you would be required to pay the remaining 12 months' fees in one lump sum.
This would result in a total early termination fee of £405.84.
Entertainment fans can also upgrade to to Sky Ultimate TV for an extra £7 per month, which gives viewers access to Sky Max, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, Sky Showcase and more.
Sky revealed that 90% of new users opt for Sky Glass or Sky Stream, but it is struggling to win over Sky Q fans.
Paolo Pescatore, an expert for PP Foresight, told The Sun: "The majority of its existing subscribers are still on the tried and trusted Sky Q platform which relies on a satellite dish.
"Converting this base is taking the company much longer than it originally expected."
One thing that Sky Q customers are not convinced by is the way recordings work, as Sky Glass Air saves everything to the cloud, meaning you can't rely on recordings during rare TV outages.
However the expert added that the new affordable model should "strongly resonate with customers".

Shoppers bag 15% off 'first class' TV and £100 food vouchers in deal that ends in days
Panasonic has launched a new deal on its popular Z60 OLED smart TV range, as well as vouchers to spend on takeaway or supermarkets - but shoppers need to be quick. Panasonic is offering a dinner and a movie deal, slashing prices on smart TVs and throwing in free takeaway vouchers. For a limited time, shoppers can enjoy a 15% discount on selected OLED smart TVs and receive £100 takeaway vouchers for Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo. Alternatively, customers can choose £100 supermarket vouchers to spend at Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose or Tesco. To secure the deal, shoppers simply need to add an eligible Panasonic OLED TV to their basket and use the coupon code Z6015. But be quick, this offer won't last forever and is set to expire at 11.59pm on 31 July. It's available with two OLED models, including the 55" Z60 4K OLED Ultra HD TV. This model has already seen its price drop from £1,199.99 to £799, but with the coupon code Z6015, it's now £679.99 – a total saving of £520. Those after something bigger, the 65" Z60 4K OLED Ultra HD TV has been reduced from £999.99 to £849.99 with the same code – £650 off the original £1,499.99 price tag. The Panasonic Z60 range promises to deliver deep blacks, vibrant colours and stunning contrast thanks to its 4K OLED panel. It also features Dolby Vision and 4K Colour Engine Pro, a processing chip that ensures the TV produces natural colours while enhancing brightness and dynamic contrast, whether you're watching the latest blockbuster or gaming. With Dolby Atmos surround sound built in, audio appears to be coming from all around in an immersive soundscape that follows the action on screen. As well as easy access to major streamers like Netflix and Disney+, the Z60 includes Freely, the streaming app developed by BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5, reports the Daily Record. This offers access to live TV and on-demand content over Wi-Fi without subscription fees or additional hardware. Other standout features include Game Mode Plus, which ensures 'lightning-fast' response times and minimal input lag, as well as the TVs frameless design. The Panasonic deal rivals Samsung's summer sale, which offers up 15% off its own OLED range with the code TV, such as the 2025 48" OLED S93F 4K Vision AI Smart TV (£1,169.10). Those looking to spread the cost may want to consider the new Sky Glass Air, Sky's own 4K UHD smart TV priced from £6 across a period of only catch is this model must be taken alongside a Sky TV and Netflix bundle, starting at £15. But the Panasonic Z60 has won over shoppers, who have awarded it an average 4.6-star rating. One happy customer said: "First class. Picture quality is unbelievable." Another said: "Exceeds expectations. Excellent picture quality and sound." A more mixed review was impressed with the TV but criticised Panasonic's support, saying: "Nice sound and picture. However, the user manual lacks any useful detail especially on the inputs and outputs. I even tried support but they didn't have a clue." Another glowing five-star review read: "Amazing OLED TV. Excellent picture quality and operating system. Easy to connect to WiFi and download streaming apps. It can even function as a games console, easily pairing a Bluetooth game remote to play games without the need of a separate console. Casting from your phone or other device is very easy, running either android or iOS."

The Hunting Wives on Netflix already has fans demanding a second season, but unfortunately it's not made it to the UK just yet There's good news for Netflix users jealous of US fans who have just got their hands on the most scandalous new murder mystery drama of the year. The Hunting Wives stars Brittany Snow as Sophie O'Neil, a former journalist who moves to rural Texas with her husband and their young son. Sophie soon strikes up a close relationship with Margo Banks (played by Malin Akerman), the alluring wife of her husband's new boss, oil tycoon Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney). However, she bites off more than she can chew when she becomes indoctrinated into Margo's exclusive group of MAGA-supporting hunting friends, who all have a secret or two to hide. When the body of a teenage girl is found in one of their favourite hunting spots, Sophie's life begins to spiral out of control. This must-watch series is already causing waves in the USA after releasing this Monday (21st July), with the hope it will soon arrive to UK streamers. Until then, fans can stream several hit films with The Hunting Wives' lead star on Netflix. All three films in the Pitch Perfect series, which stars Snow alongside Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, are available on Netflix in the UK. Also on the streamer is one of her breakout films, the 2007 musical Hairspray. Pitch Perfect is often considered a modern teen classic, and is the ideal campy, easy-going movie to throw on if you can't wait to see Snow step up her game in her scandalous new thriller. One five-star Google review said: 'This masterpiece of a movie that stars one of my favorite singers (and actresses), has always been a favorite of mine.
