Lake Pajamas Makes My Favorite Sleepwear—And It's Having A Rare Sale This Week
There's a Lake pajama sale running now through July 25. Here's why our deals and coupons writer ... More loves the brand. ILLUSTRATION: FORBES / PHOTO: RETAILER
If you're looking to elevate your sleepwear or are a longstanding Lake fan like me, now is a great time to shop while there's an assortment of styles at up to 50% off. The brand has also earned high marks from our fashion editors, who named Lake's Pima Bundle some of the best pajamas for women. Here, I've highlighted my favorite style from the brand, plus some other picks that are sitting in my cart right now.
Whether I'm working from home, on vacation, or hanging out with friends for a girls' night in, you'll most likely find me sporting this 100% Pima cotton set. As someone who doesn't like feeling hot or restricted, this set is the perfect option for me. Its breathable cotton has a brushed, soft feel and a loose fit that helps me move comfortably around the house.
I'm constantly wearing my Lake pajamas, so they've seen a lot of washes. But after two years they still come out of the laundry looking good as new. If anything, they've just gotten softer over time—which is something I never thought was possible.
I find that Lake pajamas run true to size, but if you're between sizes, the brand recommends sizing up. That'll help you avoid potential shrinking issues, as most of its pieces are made from 100% cotton.
One of the sets I have in my cart is this kimono option because it features a unique, chic design that my other pajamas lack. Reviewers say they love the fit (wide and generous proportions) and mention that the wrap top is especially great for expecting and nursing mothers. This Kimono set is on sale in three striped colors.
If you're a hot sleeper, consider opting for this tank top and shorts set. Made of the brand's signature 100% Peruvian Pima cotton, it has a lighter weave to help keep you cool during the night. The scoop-neck tank top is fitted at the top and widens at the bottom, and its drawstring shorts have a wide cut for extra comfort.
I was initially introduced to Lake after a colleague raved about its Pima nightgowns, and right now, you can get tons of them on sale. This dress, which has an A-line silhouette, offers a cooling yet cozy feeling.
This is another one of my favorite sets from Lake. While its softness is a significant perk, I love wearing this set when I'm with friends because of the playful two-print design.

3 Ways a Luxury Gym Membership Can Actually Save You Money
A luxury gym membership might seem like a splurge, but it can be a surprisingly smart financial move. Many high-end gyms include perks that would cost extra elsewhere — and if you take full advantage, you could end up saving money overall. Read Next: Check Out: Here are the luxury gym membership perks that can end up saving you money. On-Site Child Care Many luxury gyms provide on-site child care for members at no additional charge. For example, Life Time gyms have on-site Kids Academies where parents can drop off kids while they work out. Children ages 3 months and up can receive up to 2 1/2 hours of child care, while infants can receive up to two hours. Babysitters typically charge around $20 per hour, so those cost savings can add up if you utilize these services multiple times a week. Explore More: Built-In Co-Working Spaces As traditional office life evolves, many workers now work remotely at least part of the time. Buying access to a co-working space can be pricey — for example, a WeWork membership costs $160 or more a month — but some gyms offer access to these spaces as part of its membership. Life Time is one gym that offers this perk. 'Life Time Work Club Lounges are open plan work, community-style areas inside Life Time athletic country clubs that are complimentary for all Life Time members to use,' its site states. 'No specific Life Time Work membership required.' Boutique Classes and Spa Access There's no need to pay for individual classes or spa access when you join a high-end gym. Almost all of the premium chains include unlimited group exercise classes, as well providing on-site saunas. At Equinox, members can take classes that include boxing, Pilates and HIIT — classes that can cost up to $50 each when booked at a boutique fitness studio. Anya Taylor-Joy Triples Up on Summer Scarves
This summer, it's all about the scarf. Scratch that: scarves. More scarves, the better! Just ask Anya Taylor-Joy. According to the most stylish celebrities, the breakout trend of the season has revolved around decking yourself out in multiple silk foulards; stars have creatively wrapped themselves in a variety of eye-catching styles, be it as a skirt, or an Old Hollywood-style headscarf. You get bonus points if said scarf is in an elegant floral print or graphic pattern too, injecting your look with instant pizazz. Or, if you are Taylor-Joy, you get extra bonus points for pulling off wearing three scarves at once. This weekend, the actor was spotted in Budapest attending the Hungarian Grand Prix, and she proved herself a fan of the scarf dressing trend already enjoyed by Kylie Jenner and Alexa Chung—by piling on the accessory in three ways in one idyllic summer outfit. First, she tied a striped green scarf around her head, further leaning into the retro-chic vibe with a pair of black Dior cat eye sunglasses. (As expected of a house ambassador). Then, around her shoulders, she sported a butter yellow pashmina worn like a shawl, styling it with more minimal pieces like a white tank, cropped bermuda shorts, and chic Mary Jane flats.
