Love Island ignites fakery row as its revealed new couple 'knew each other before show and even hooked up' - but have never mentioned it on camera

Daily Mail21 hours ago
One of the Love Island couples knew each other before appearing on the ITV2 dating show - and even hooked up together, according to reports.
Tuesday's episode of the ITV2 show saw a shock recoupling ceremony, which saw a number of the Islanders swap partners.
Helena picked Harry, Meg coupled up with Dejon, Shakira decided to choose Conor, Yasmin picked Jamie and Billykiss went for Boris.
Toni shocked everyone by choosing ex Harrison, which then meant that her ex Cach had to couple up with Emma and Harrison's girl Lauren ended up with Ty.
And according to The Sun, Ty and Lauren already know each other after taking part in the unfilmed rehearsal week earlier this year - which then meant that they were invited back to take part in Casa Amor.
A source told the publication: 'Ty and Lauren are acting like they've only just met but that's far from the case.
'They hooked up during the dry run, which is where a fake cast moves into the villa to test out everything from camera angles, to kitchen appliances and run-through challenges.
'And then they even saw each other on the outside before ITV invited them back to be part of Casa Amor.
'Now they're both in the main villa pretending like none of this ever happened but it's all entirely fake and ITV know about it.
'Viewers deserve to know it's all a huge sham.'
The pair were both introduced into the series earlier this month after trying to turn some heads in the sister villa.
Lauren grew close with Harrison, while Ty built a connection with Shakira - who has had her fair share of drama in the villa.
Love Island fans have branded Harrison 'disgusting' after he crawled back to Toni after having sex with Lauren during Tuesday night's episode and admitted it wasn't the first time.
As the couple's settled down to sleep, one pair had other ideas as they were seen getting frisky under the covers.
And it wasn't long until they took things to the next level as Harrison was seen whispering across the beds as he asked Harry whether he had a condom.
After Harry passed the wrapper to his friend, Lauren was seen climbing on top of Harrison before the camera panned away to show their islanders shocked faces.
And the next day as Lauren chatted with Helena and Meg, she confessed it wasn't the first time the couple had slept together as she admitted they had gone all the way the other night too.
Yet despite the intimacy, Harrison was quick to change his mind on who he had a greater connection with as he went crawling back to Toni after news of a shock recoupling.
Shockingly Toni once again chose to give things another go with her former flame, despite insisting she was 'done' earlier in the episode
Speaking to Harry he confessed: 'I want Toni' before he met with her on the terrace to beg her to give him another chance.
And shockingly Toni once again chose to give things another go with her former flame, despite insisting she was 'done' earlier in the episode.
Yet it seems Toni may not know the full story, with fans speculating she doesn't know he and Lauren appeared to have had sex.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it'.
'And she still doesn't know he's sh****d Lauren twice this is so dirty someone intervene';
'I beg Lauren stands up and mentions they sh****d twice Harrison ain't even told Toni yet loool';
'this is embarrassing for Toni'; 'nah Toni, girl you've just lost the bag';
'Harrison you CANNOT be crawling back to Toni now after having sex with Lauren and not being honest with her about it';
'Harrison having sex with Lauren then running back to Toni ?! I know Lauren shouldn't have but this is all on Harrison';
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it'
'had sex with lauren TWICE mind you, now he wants toni back'; 'Harrison wants Toni but he's having sex with Lauren. Toni and Harrison are such weirdos';
'Harrison asking for a condom and proceeding to have sex in a room full of people ??? Disgusting';
'How do they feel so comfortable having sex with people in the room?!'; 'Having sex with other people in the room is one thing, but on NATIONAL TV??';
'Where is Toni sleeping? Cos if Harrison & Lauren are having sex in the same room, the respect is below hell';
'harrison and lauren are CRAZY bc how are you having sex in a room full of people AND asking for a condom'.
Harrison and Toni officially recoupled at the end of the episode, while Lauren was left in tears after she was forced to recouple with Ty.
Toni and Harrison have had a rollercoaster journey since Harrison brought back the bombshell to the main villa after Casa Amor.
And while Harrison appeared smitten in Casa Amor, he has attempted to reignite his triangle in the competition by flirting with Toni in a scandalous move on the terrace earlier this week as the pair continued to flirt with each other.
However on Monday, despite being in tears over Harrison's sneaky antics in the villa, Lauren appeared to forgive and forget when they retired to bed as the cameras showed the two getting very close under the covers.
In a nighttime clip aired by the producers, the sheets could be seen moving over the top of the two islanders - suggesting they were taking their connection to the next level.
The next day, Harrison seemed to have confirmed their antics as he confessed to Harry that 'the whistle was blown' and he 'scored a three pointer' - a football reference which fans took to mean they got intimate throughout the night.

Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan reveals she suffered a miscarriage and insists she 'doesn't want sympathy' while urging fans to 'be mindful'

Geordie Shore 's Holly Hagan has revealed she suffered a miscarriage in March. The star, 33, who is mother to son Alpha-Jax, two, with husband Jacob Blyth, held a Q&A on Instagram on Thursday in which she was asked about having more children. When asked: 'Are you having anymore children? Your a great mum [sic]', Holly, who shot to fame on the MTV show in 2011, replied with the heartbreaking news and urged fans to stop quizzing her on children. Layered over the top of a picture of two pregnancy tests, Holly wrote: 'Just because 90% of the questions are about when we're having another and I do get constant comments like 'AJ needs a sibling' and I'm like I KNOWW!!... 'I did want to speak about it at the time but didn't know how and didn't know how and didn't want any sympathy (and still don't so please don't message lol) but we did miscarry in March... 'Just a reminder to be mindful when commenting saying 'when's the next' because holw on earth would we know that.' Holly is often candid on social media and has frequently opened up about the ups and downs of motherhood since welcoming Alpha-Jax in June 2023. She spoke to BBC about suffering with postpartum anxiety and how she was plagued with concerns over her son's mortality. Holly said: ''I suffered quite badly with postpartum anxiety, and I worried about absolutely everything. I know this sounds morbid, but I just kept thinking that at any point Alpha-Jax could potentially die... 'We didn't even have visitors for weeks because I worried that he might catch something. I wish I hadn't worried as much and that I'd trusted my gut in situations, but I think it's a common to be worried about all these things... 'He survived all the visitors, and he even goes to nursery now. I'm proud of keeping him alive and that he's a happy, confident little boy... 'There have been so many joyful moments and honestly, Alpha-Jax has just got such an incredible energy. He brightens up our days, even on his whingiest days.' Holly announced she was welcoming her first child in January 2023, six months after marrying National League footballer Jacob in a summer Ibiza wedding. Announcing the news in an exclusive video with OK! magazine, Holly told Jacob: 'Your patience, strength and resilience inspire me every single day and I couldn't think of a strong role model for our future children.' The video then cut to Jacob unwrapping a present which contained a positive pregnancy test, leading to a shocked reaction from the footballer. The following month, Holly announced she was expecting a son after filming a gender reveal and joint second wedding party for Geordie Shore.

'What about me?!' - Peake collecting Mickelson memorabilia

Australian golfer Ryan Peake, who caught up with BBC Sport NI's Matt Gault earlier this week, has been reflecting on his first major appearance at The Open and playing alongside Phil 31-year-old carded a six-over-par 77 on his opening round and admitted to being slightly in awe of his six-time major champion playing partner."I grabbed his putter off him a few times and had a little feel of it! That's the OG - the one from the Masters," Peake said."His caddy was giving out golf balls as he walked off the tee and I yelled, 'What about me?!' He had a laugh and thought I was being sarcastic, but he said was I serious and I said, 'deadly serious' and said could he sign a glove as well!"

The five-star Sainsbury's dress that's only £15, flatters pear shapes and makes curvy shoppers ‘feel confident'

SHOPPERS are racing to Sainsbury's after spotting the perfect summer dress in the sale for just £15. The supermarket's in-house fashion label Tu is one of the best-loved brands on the high street, and is constantly wowing us with its stylish but affordable fashion. 3 From cute dresses to on-trend work attire, the supermarket fast-fashion range always hits the mark, and its new summer collection is no exception. One dress in particular that has caught the attention of fashion fans thanks to its discounted price is the White Structured Midaxi Summer Dress. Usually priced at £30, it has been slashed to just £15 in the 50 per cent off flash sale. The elegant white frock is perfect for dressing up for girly brunches or city sight-seeing on holiday. The structured bodice and flared hem give the dress a flattering shape and cinches you in. And the dress is made of lightweight cotton, perfect for keeping cool in the heat. In their online description, the Sainsbury's team said: "This white dress is an elegant choice for summer outings. Designed with a structured bodice and a flared hem for a flattering shape. "Cut to a midaxi length, it has been made from a lightweight, cotton-rich fabric, perfect for warmer days." The gorgeous frock is available in a wide range of sizes, from size 6 to size 24. But it is almost completely sold out online already, so you'll have to leg it to your nearest store to pick it up. I'm a size 14 and did the best Tesco summer haul - run before new co-ord sells out And it has already racked up a flurry of five-star reviews from delighted fashionistas who have hailed it as perfect for pear shapes and curvy figures. One gushed: "Real winner. I love this dress. It fits perfectly and I adore the unusual detail to it. "A very pleasant surprise - well done Sainsbury's! Great value for money. I can't wait to wear it." A second wrote: "I bought this dress as a curvy size 20 and told myself that it would not fit …..but it was stunning! "I felt special in it and confident. The material is lovely and the fit was perfect. A must-have for your summer wardrobe." "So pleased with this dress, it's perfect fit and looks stunning", chimed in a third. A fourth echoed: "Such a lovely dress. Looks great on. Very well made. No one will ever think it came from Tu." Meanwhile, a fifth cried: "This dress is beautiful. Cut and style is akin to a premium brand. It's stunning! "I was anticipating the dress wouldn't be completely opaque at the price but it is well lined, an unexpected bonus. The fit is perfect and flattering on a size 18 pear shape with a slight flare to the skirt. "The pleats sit beautifully. Looking forward to wearing in Ibiza this summer!" And a sixth said: "Bought this dress was so pleased with it material is beautiful and it fits perfectly." Is supermarket fashion the new high street? DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in: The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family. Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street. Asda's clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year. So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful? Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative. A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year. Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes. Designer Dupe As well as being purse-friendly, the Sainbury's dress looks strikingly similar to the Everett Linen Dress, which is priced at £298. This makes the Tu dress a whopping £283 cheaper. Both dresses have a similar structured bodice and flared hem, but the premium buy comes in a wider range of colours, including pink and blue. 3
