Mega PTM 2.0 draws 2.3 crore participants at 61k schools in Andhra
Spearheaded by HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, the PTM united students, parents, teachers, school management committees, officials, donors, and alumni to bolster the State's education system.

Naidu, engaging directly with students, parents, and teachers, shared a personal anecdote about his wife Bhuvaneswari's dedication to their son Lokesh's education, ensuring his admission to prestigious institutions like Cambridge and Stanford.
He praised Lokesh, now HRD Minister, for taking the responsibility of shaping the future of Andhra Pradesh's students.
Naidu emphasised his commitment to elevating government schools to compete with private institutions.

Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led state government, accusing it of shirking its constitutional responsibilities by delaying elections to Panchayati Raj institutions and urban local bodies. Russia warns US, South Korea, Japan against alliance targeting North Korea
Russia's foreign minister on Saturday warned the US, South Korea and Japan against forming a security partnership targeting North Korea as he visited his country's ally for talks on further solidifying their booming military and other cooperation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov flew to North Korea's eastern Wonsan city on Friday for a meeting with his North Korean counterpart, Choe Son Hui. Relations between Russia and North Korea have been flourishing in recent years, with North Korea supplying troops and ammunition to support Russia's war against Ukraine in return for military and economic assistance. Amit Shah accuses LDF, UDF of appeasement and shielding PFI in Kerala
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday slammed both the ruling CPI(M)-led LDF and the opposition Congress-led UDF alleging the regimes steered by them only created corruption, followed appeasement politics and made Kerala a safe haven for "anti-national forces", like the Popular Front of India (PFI). Addressing party workers here, Shah said only the BJP-led NDA can bring development to the state and not the LDF or the UDF. The BJP-led NDA will be fighting the 2026 Assembly polls in Kerala with the intention of forming a government in the state, he said. Shah inaugurated the new BJP state committee office, Mararji Bhavan, here ahead of the upcoming local body polls later this year and the assembly election next year. The Union Home Minister, who arrived in Kerala late Friday night, also paid floral tributes to late former BJP state president K G Marar, whose bronze bust has been installed in the central hall of the new building.
