The towering 6-foot-8, 220-pound native of Greeneville, Tenn., is listed as the No. 2 prospect in the state, No. 9 power forward, and No. 59 overall recruit in the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports. Advertisement Adding to the excitement, Thompson will also be reclassifying to the 2025 class, making him eligible for the 2025-26 campaign. In his three seasons on the varsity squad at Greeneville High School, Thompson has averaged 21.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game on 56% shooting from the field, 45% from 3-point territory, and 81% from the free-throw line, per his MaxPreps profile.
