Here we are talking about the Korean thriller Train to Busan , which debuted globally and garnered a very positive reception in India as well. Released in 2016, this action horror movie has also been frequently aired on television. With a rating of 7.6 on IMDb , it centers around a high-speed train. Many passengers aboard the train are on their way to visit family or friends. However, an incident occurs that leads to a catastrophic event. Train to Busan features international actors such as Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, Ma Dong-seok and Kim Su-an. The Storyline of Train to Busan
The plot follows a journalist who lives with his daughter. She is planning to visit her grandmother and her father often neglects her, but decides to accompany her on the train to Busan. At one station, an infected individual enters the train. Subsequently, chaos ensues as the infected person transforms into a zombie. Gradually, those on the train become victims of the zombie infection. Gong Yoo and Ma Dong-seok take action to help the survivors. However, before reaching its final course, both actors die while fighting a horde of zombies.
In the end, Gong Yoo's daughter and Dong-seok's pregnant wife are the ones who make it out alive. The military targets the entire train and destroys it with a blast. Due to the film's success, the creators produced a sequel titled Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula, which unfortunately did not perform well and became a disaster.
The original film was a significant commercial success, grossing $98.5 million worldwide (around Rs 819 crore), with $80.5 million coming from South Korea, $2.2 million from the United States and Canada, and $15.8 million from other regions .

When Randhir Kapoor publicly slammed Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, calling Sunjay Kapur a...

Karisma Kapoor's marriage to Delhi-based businessman Sunjay Kapur began in 2003 but soon spiralled into one of Bollywood's most talked-about scandals. What followed was not just a separation, but a bitter divorce packed with explosive allegations. Karisma accused Sunjay of infidelity. Sunjay, in turn, claimed the Zubeidaa star had married him for money. Their mudslinging was so intense it made daily headlines. Randhir Kapoor lashes out Never one to hold back, Karisma's father, Randhir Kapoor, publicly tore into his former son-in-law. In a fiery interview with Hindustan Times, he said, 'Sunjay is a third-class man. I never wanted Karisma to marry him. He has debauchery in his system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull*** to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is.' His remarks came right after Sunjay accused Karisma of being a 'failed' wife, daughter-in-law, and mother, and even alleged she had an extramarital affair. The marriage and the split After tying the knot in 2003, Karisma moved to Delhi and had two children, Samaira and Kiaan. But by 2011, she had returned to Mumbai with them. The couple initially agreed on a mutual divorce, but Karisma withdrew when Sunjay allegedly failed to meet financial commitments under their settlement. Her lawyer, Kranti Sathe, dismissed Sunjay's accusations as 'false' and demanded he prove them in court. A twist after death Sunjay Kapur, former chairman of Sona Comstar, died in London on June 12, 2025. Barely two months later, his name resurfaced in headlines, this time over a staggering Rs 30,000 crore inheritance dispute. Reports suggest Karisma may be considering a legal claim to a share of his vast estate. Adding intrigue, Sunjay's stepdaughter — Priya Sachdev's daughter, Safira — recently changed her surname from 'Chatwal' to 'Kapur'. Insiders speculate this could be more than a personal choice, possibly a strategic play in the high-stakes property battle.

Con banega rich? Doc duped of 10L over entry in show

Bhopal: A doctor residing in the Chunabhatti area was allegedly duped of Rs10 lakh by a Mumbai-based man and his associates, who promised him an entry into a popular Bollywood actor-hosted reality TV game show. Acting on the complaint, Chunabhatti police reare preparing to send a team to Mumbai for their arrest. Investigation officer SI Uday Sisode said that Dr Abhineet Gupta, the complainant who runs his own clinic in Chunabhatti, came in contact with the accused, Karan Singh, through a mutual friend in 2022. Karan, who operates an event organising and management business in Mumbai, claimed to have strong connections in the television industry. He assured Dr Gupta that he could get him an entry into a high-profile reality TV game show, hosted by a Bollywood actor. Karan allegedly told Dr Gupta that the process would involve expenses of around Rs 50 lakh. Eager to participate in the show, Dr Gupta agreed. Karan even took him to an office where officials explained the formal application process for the show. However, Karan demanded Rs 10 lakh in advance to "facilitate" the selection process. Dr Gupta paid the amount, but his name did not appear in the list of selected participants that season. Upon inquiry, Karan assured him that his selection was confirmed for the next season. However, when the next season also passed without any progress, Dr Gupta tried to contact the show organisers directly and discovered that there is no such practice of accepting money for entry into the show. When Dr Gupta demanded his money back, Karan initially gave excuses and later outright refused to return the amount. Realising he was duped, Dr Gupta lodged a complaint with Chunabhatti police. After preliminary investigation, the police registered a case of cheating, cops said.
