CHAMPIONSHIP club Oxford United have released a heartfelt video warning they will cease to exist if new stadium plans are not approved.
Earlier this month, the U's penned an open letter to concerned locals regarding a proposed 16,000-seater stadium on land known as the Triangle, near Kidlington.

The CEO said the club wanted to safeguard its future
It comes with the looming fear of United's current lease on where they currently play, the Kassam Stadium, expiring in 2026.
Last month, the club reached a deal with stadium owners, Fikora Group, to allow them to stay there for a maximum of two more years, with no more extensions or lease agreements possible following the agreement.
But amid opposition from worried locals, a decision is set to be made on the plans by Cherwell District Council in July.
And in a bid to sway the powers that be in their favour, United released a 2-minute 15-second video on YouTube.

The video starts off by going into the 132-year history of the club since its founding in 1893.
A voiceover of the club then warns how it may not be part of the future of the community, saying: "Imagine Oxford United is no longer.
"No more dreams. No more community. No more football."
The video cuts away to show fans cheering and chanting in the club's current home of the Kassam Stadium, which holds 12,573 people.

Views from people involved with the club are then voiced in support of the plans, including matchday steward, Roland Clements, Women's team manager, Gemma Simms and first-team star, Sam Long.
CEO Tim Williams then appears in the video and warns: "Our very existence is now at risk.
Championship club could be left without a stadium as EFL deadline looms
"This stadium will create jobs, boost the economy, improve lives and safeguard the future of this great club."
The video ends with a poignant message declaring there are "no second chances" before adding: "No stadium, no club."
A black screen appears with white text saying: "Our future is in your hands."
In the club's open letter earlier this month, Williams said: "It doesn't get more serious than that for a football club.
"We have seen headlines recently about a new Manchester United stadium, which with all due respect is a want and not a need. If Manchester United don't move out, they still have Old Trafford.
"If Everton hadn't moved into Bramley Moor-Dock, they've still got Goodison.
"If we don't move into a new stadium, we are homeless and we don't exist and it's an absolute travesty in my view. It's that important."
United estimate their £130million stadium plans will create around 1,000 new jobs and add £32m a year to the local economy.
First unveiled in 2023, the stadium will include a 180-bed hotel, restaurant, conference centre, community plaza and would be the UK's first all-electric stadium.
A poll held in May 2023 by Kidlington Parish Council saw most residents who voted go against the plans.
United have since made a number of changes to the original proposal.
This included adding a new health and wellbeing centre and making 90 per cent of transport to the ground sustainable, which they said now had the support of the police and council highways officers.
The club finished 17th in the Championship last season, a year after they were promoted from winning the League One play-off final.

The England international was set for a medical in north London on Friday after Spurs were understood to have triggered Gibbs-White's £60million release clause. Arsenal have signed three new players this summer and plenty more incomings are expected before the transfer window slams shut, with Noni Madueke close to joining from Chelsea Arsenal's transfer business has ramped up in recent weeks, with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard all officially joining the club this month. Portuguese outlet Record have reported that a €5m (£4.3m) gap remains between the clubs after their latest talks, with the Gunners prepared to €65m (£56m) upfront plus future payments of €5m (£4.3m) and an additional €10m (£8.6m) in add-ons. Eze latest Mirror Football understands that Arsenal are poised to make a formal approach to Crystal Palace for Eberechi Eze. Eze has a £68m release clause and the Gunners have held several rounds of talks with the player's representatives, CAA Base. Marcus Rashford handed exit route as Viktor Gyokeres makes shock decision
Ruben Amorim has been frustrated by slow progress on transfer deals at Manchester United after seeing just one signing - Matheus Cunha from Wolves - arriving through the door at Old Trafford Manchester United have one signing through the door this summer, but they have no plans to stop there as Ruben Amorim continues revamping his struggling squad. So far, Matheus Cunha is the only player who has arrived at Old Trafford after being signed for £62.5million and there are some frustrations from fans over the lack of progress over other deals. United are still locked in talks with Brentford over a possible move for Bryan Mbeumo but have been unable to agree a fee. There are also a number of unwanted stars like Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho whose futures need finalising as the club look to balance the books and rake in more funds for transfers. With that in mind, Mirror Football has outlined some of the biggest Manchester United transfer stories and gossip. Barcelona make Rashford "priority" target Marcus Rashford will be desperate to make his exit from United this summer after being cast aside by Amorim, forced to train by himself away from the squad at Carrington. United did give Rashford extra time to find a new club following his short loan spell at Aston Villa last season - and now the England star may have found a solution. According to Sky in Germany, Barcelona had seen a bid for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz rejected and are now prepared to go "all-in" on Rashford. The report says boss Hansi Flick has already given the green light to the move, which Barcelona hope will be a loan deal. United might also have to subsidise a portion of Rashford's wages due to the player's eye-watering £325,000-a-week wages and he is said to be willing to lower his wage demands in order to secure an exit. Gyokeres reconsidering United move For months, Manchester United were being talked about as the leading frontrunners to sign Viktor Gyokeres, due to the striker's relationship with boss Amorim. The Portuguese coach helped turn the Swedish star into one of the deadliest strikers in world football but United's failure to qualify for European football saw them fall away from contention - with Arsenal stepping up as favourites. It's understood Arsenal are offering a package of €65m (£56m) plus future payments of €5m and €10m (£8.6m) in add-ons but are around £4m off of Sporting's valuation. Sporting have asked for a "cooling off period" before restarting talks and Gyokeres has reportedly had enough of being patient and has gone on strike at the club - refusing to turn up for the start of pre-season. And now Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha have claimed Gyokeres has opened the door to United once again and is giving the Red Devils a "second look" after being forced to wait to join Arsenal. United want to add another forward player alongside Cunha and would jump at the chance to sign Gyokeres, who netted 54 goals in 52 games last season, as they continue to reach an impasse in talks for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo. Mbeumo "frustrated" over transfer delay Another player who has been left impatient over a move is United target Mbeumo, who the Red Devils have been in talks to such for much of the summer so far. United have had two bids rejected for Mbeumo, the latest being one of £62.5m - the same fee they paid for Cunha. It's understood Brentford are looking for more than £60m but want the full fee paid upfront, while United want to pay it in instalments. Mbeumo was Brentford's star player last season, netting 20 goals in the Premier League and is seen as a player who could overhaul United's fortunes. But United are yet to return with a third bid and the saga is threatening to drag out even further - causing "frustration" from Mbeumo. Cameroon coach Ashu Cyprian Besong said: 'Yes, obviously he's very frustrated with how long it's taken. But he's a professional and anticipates these things. I spoke to him about a week ago and he is very calm with everything that is going on. "But of course, he's already told them he wants to go to United. He just wanted the two clubs to find an agreement, as he's very grateful for the opportunity that he's been given by Brentford in his career."
