Why did Nick Lee, Amouranth's husband, call out QTCinderella over Streamer Royale event plans?
(Image via nickwicklee's 'x' Account) A conflict within the streaming world boiled over after a recent revelation made by Nick Lee. Popular streamer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa's husband targeted QTCinderella, a fellow creator. The entire dispute centers around alleged behind-the-scenes interference that surrounds the ambitious 2022 event of Amouranth, titled Streamer Royale. As per Lee's explosive claims, QTCinderella sabotaged the project. But why? Here is all you need to know about the made claims and the dispute. Nick Lee targets QTCinderella, making explosive claims During one of the recent Kick streams, Lee did not hold back as he started to discuss issues related to QTCinderella. As per his claims, in 2022, just one week before Streamer Royale (Orlando-based production), QT contacted them, demanding that they stop using the production company that worked on Streamer Awards. Finding this request baffling, Nick says, 'It's not like she owns the company. It's not like we're doing even a similar show as her.' Nick even questioned why any streamer must have exclusive rights over the services of vendors, especially when the event formats (his being a physical gameshow while the other was just an awards ceremony) are totally different? Additionally, as per Nick, QT later allegedly threatened to cut ties with the production company if they did not comply. After the Amouranth team refused, Nick said QT pressured many high-profile streamers, including xQc, to withdraw from the event. As per his argument, this severely impacted their $700,000 production. How did QTCinderella allegedly influence streamers to drop out of the event? When Streamer Royale and Lee refused to drop the production company, at a time that was so close to the event, Lee alleged that QTCinderella had shifted her tactics. As per his claims, she actively worked behind the scenes. Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like When Knee Pain Hits, Start Eating These Foods, and Feel Your Pain Go Away (It's Genius) Click Here Undo by Taboola by Taboola She pressured all invited streamers to withdraw participation. As detailed by Nick, QT used her connections to disrupt Streamer Royale. One big blow to them was when xQc made a last-minute withdrawal from the event. Nick claims QT reached out to xQc to convince him not to attend. She even leveraged her personal relationships to create headaches for event organizers. In the words of Lee, 'She told Adept to get xQc not to go and so Adept got xQc… fighting with xQc about not going. So, finally xQc was like, I just can't.' He then explained, 'xQc not being a part of it really hurt cuz we were like, you know, headlining him and a lot of things and things like that, right? That really f**king hurt. Okay.' As per Nick's claims, the other streamers, including AustinShow, were also persuaded to back out. This left the event just scrambling. Further, as alleged by Lee, QT even directly pressured the production company, warning them that she would not hire them for future projects if they continued to work with the team of Amouranth. Ongoing threats and drama The entire conflict escalated as Lee shared all the disturbing claims that got relayed to him by their chosen production company. He said that, as he informed the production company about the demands of QTCinderella, they said that she did approach them directly. The ultimatum given to them was stark and clearly said, drop Streamer Royale as a client or lose Streamer Rewards business, in the following year. Lee made sure to characterize all these alleged actions as manipulative "high school Queen Bee drama." He contrasted the public image of QTCinderella to be 'above it all,' and that, as per him, was deeply entrenched and underhanded tactics. To put pressure on creators and vendors, as per his argument, reveals a different reality right beneath the surface. Lingering tensions and the TwitchCon spat As indicated by Lee, the fallout from the event was not an isolated incident. It fostered ongoing animosity. He even cited the example of subsequent Streamer Awards. As per his claims, Amouranth got sidelined. Despite all inquiries about her nominations within categories that she was previously included within, as per Lee, the relevant category was absent from the show that particular year. Amouranth's Husband DESTROYS QTCinderella Lee further recounted the later incident from TwitchCon that included meet-and-greets. As per Lee's description, QTCinderella was unwilling to communicate with Amouranth directly, and she used mutual acquaintance Maya to request that Amouranth stop streaming her booth activity. The reason for this was that there was potential audio overlap with the adjacent booth of QTCinderella and Maya. When Amouranth did not see the message right away, during such a busy event, Lee claimed, it led to indirect complaints. There were indirect communications over such minor issues with a simple potential solution, like getting to talk with Amouranth in person. Behind-the-scenes conflict has a lasting impact While Streamer Royale proceeded ultimately, Lee maintains that alleged interference hampered its potential. The financial investment with last-minute losses of some major talents created avoidable pressure. Lee's public airing of all these grievances years later shows how deeply all these events affected him. It highlights complex and quite often unseen rivalries that exist in the streaming industry's collaborative façade. The accusations further paint a picture of the alleged power plays as well as personal grudges that influence major business ventures, while leaving a cloud over all the professional relationships. As of now, while writing on to the entire incident, QT has not yet publicly responded to Nick's claims. Whether or not she addresses all accusations remains to be seen. 'I don't speak on legal s**t': Fanum responds to Duke Dennis' arrest situation
Image via: Fanum/Twitch The gaming and streaming community has been filled with chatter since this weekend's Arrest of Twitch star Duke Dennis in San Antonio, Texas. Now hardly has AMP affiliate and streamer Roberto "Fanum" broke silence over the situation and then clarified his stance of going far away from the legal mess. The Arrest That Sparked the Internet Duke Dennis, being the stage name, really means Denzel Shaquille Dennis. He was arrested on Saturday, August 2, at the Shops at Rivercenter mall. According to reports, the 31-year-old had been involved in a hide-and-seek game with his friends, Kai Cenat among them, when mall security allegedly approached the group and asked them to leave due to complaints received about their behaviors. When the police arrived at about 10 p.m., they claimed that the group continued to disrupt and that Dennis refused to heed warnings asking him to leave. He was named in a charge of criminal trespassing and evading arrest. Some online videos show Dennis handcuffed on the mall floor while Kai Cenat films from an upper level. Duke Dennis Arrested! Kai Cenat's Wild Mall Hide-and-Seek Chaos in San Antonio Dennis was released on August 3 after posting a $1,000 bond for each charge. Fanum Speaks Out but Carefully Fans have been waiting for AMP members to issue any statements ever since the news came out. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo On August 4, during a livestream, Fanum briefly alluded to the matter but hastened to say that he wouldn't really get into the legal specifics. "Word, chat, it's definitely... see, I don't speak on legal s**t, bro, ever. You know what I'm saying? I let the... whenever the person was involved in whatever situation, which is not really a situation at all, to be honest. You know what I'm saying? Word, chat, it's nothing crazy." His tone probably indicated confidence in that the situation had been blown out of proportion and that Dennis hadn't really done anything serious. Support Without the Speculation Although he decided not to delve into any details, this is a typical stance of creators in the midst of legal controversies to provide support without feeding the speculation online. His position also points to AMP standing by Dennis as the legal matters proceed. As it stands, no formal statements have been issued whatsoever from both Dennis and Kai Cenat regarding their arrest. However, the AMP fanbase continues to support the group, awaiting further information. One of the questions this incident raises is where the line is drawn with content creation, especially in public spaces. In an environment where streamers try pushing the envelope to entertain their fans, Duke Dennis' arrest may well be the wake-up call of legal considerations to respect when making viral content.
