Haley Joel Osment heard on video hurling racist slur during arrest at ski resort
An arresting officer reported Haley was acting belligerent and throwing Jewish epithets at police when he was taken into custody on April 8 at Mammoth Mountain, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
Bodycam footage later obtained by the outlet appears to back up those claims, showing Osment calling a cop the 'K' word, while also referring to him as a 'f—ing Nazi.'
Additional video shows the moment officers with the Mammoth Lakes Police Department discovered what they say was cocaine in Osment's possession.
The 37-year-old actor was formally charged on Thursday with disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol and possession of cocaine, nine days after cops received a call reporting an 'intoxicated person' creating a disturbance on the slopes of Mammoth.
Separate video taken at the resort, also obtained by TMZ, shows the Oscar-nominated 'Sixth Sense' star causing a scene at a chair lift, where he can be seen with his helmet on backwards.
'I mean, the backwards helmet is a dead giveaway,' one onlooker says offscreen, while another suggests Osment 'had a little too much.'
Multiple people can be heard shouting for the actor to get out of the line, yelling that someone should call security.
Eventually, a crewmember who'd been standing beside Osment waves at him to follow her out of the area. The actor was then held by ski patrol staff until police arrived at the scene.
'He couldn't take care of himself,' one staff member told police, as heard in the bodycam clips. 'He went to the bar, ordered one drink, and was so intoxicated that he spilled it. And then he got cut off.'
The footage shows Osment later being escorted into the police station, where he reportedly spent the night before being released the next day, according to Us Weekly.
He's scheduled to be arraigned on July 7 in Mono County Superior Court.
Osment's arrest was not his first brush with the law. In 2018, authorities were called to a Las Vegas airport after Osment allegedly lashed out at American Airlines staff when he missed a flight.
In 2006, Osment was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana after driving his car into a mailbox. The then-18-year-old was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to 60 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation and education program, CBS News reported at the time.
Sources told TMZ on Thursday that Osment has been struggling in recent months after losing his home in the Southern California wildfires in January.

Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson's ‘Marriage Story' fight scene is being used to scare wolves
An explosive argument between Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson 's characters in ' Marriage Story ' is doing what fences can't: keeping wolves away from local farms. The tense scene in the 2019 film is among several audio clips that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has been broadcasting to scare off grey wolves that have been eating livestock from farms along the West Coast, according to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal. USDA District Supervisor Paul Wolf, who introduced the method, told the WSJ that the goal is to get the wolves to fear humans. 'I need the wolves to respond and know that, hey, humans are bad,' he said. The new method uses drone cowhands and thermal cameras to shine spotlights on wolves lurking in the shadows, sounding off a loudspeaker with alarming sounds, such as the 'Marriage Story' clip. 'Marriage Story,' directed by Noah Baumbach, centers on a strained couple going through a bitter divorce and custody battle. The Academy Award-winning drama has since become known for its grueling depiction of marital struggles. Baumbach, whose partner is Sacramento native and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Greta Gerwig, previously told Entertainment Weekly that the scene was the 'most difficult' he has ever shot in his decades-long career. The WSJ report notes that rock and heavy metal songs such as AC/DC's hit 'Thunderstruck' and Five Finger Death Punch's 'Blue on Black' have also been used to startle wolves back into the woods, helping to decrease the number of livestock deaths. The Chronicle has reached out to the USDA for more information. California has a large wolf population, with three new packs discovered in May bringing the state's total number of packs to a century-high of 10. The new families are living in parts of Northern California, including Shasta County east of Redding, central Lassen County and eastern Tehama County. The area's growing wolf population has already proven to be challenging for local ranchers. Quincy rancher Dan Greenwood previously told the Chronicle that he counted more than 25 dead cows and calves due to wolves, noting that he is 'beyond frustrated' with the situation. Others have reported that they are 'losing cattle daily.'
