The film is written by Matthew Nemeth and is set for release in the US on September 19, 2025. No UK release date has yet been announced. The film premiered in March at the 2025 SXSW festival in Austin Texas. According to Mashable, American Sweatshop is a 'cyberthriller for the doom-scrolling age'. Is Patrick leaving EastEnders as soap legend is left to die?

He was on cloud nine after placing a winning bet – scooping up £6,000 with thanks to Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) making the punt for him. As viewers will remember, fiancé Yolande (Angela Wynter) told Patrick that their upcoming wedding would be off if she caught him at the bookies again. He stood outside flashing the cash to her, hoping she'd be impressed, but got quite the negative reception and went to drown her sorrows at the pub. A gloomy Patrick then returned home, unaware of the horrors that would await him… Patrick was horrified to spot a masked intruder holding his cash. He slammed the living room door closed and prepared to stage an intervention when the robber launched towards him. During the scuffle, Patrick's head hit the floor and he was knocked unconscious. The burglar? None other than foolish Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), who desperately needed the money to pay off his thuggish associate Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink). Unbeknown to RacingTV presenters Fran Berry and Donn McLean working at Galway, a racing fan dropped his trousers to moon at the screen in the background A cheeky racegoer pulled off a scene-stealing moment during live horse racing coverage on Saturday. The week long Galway Festival is one of the highlights of Ireland's racing calendar which features seven consecutive days of Flat and jumps action and is renowned for its lively atmosphere. Day six of the marathon meeting had concluded with the Kevin Coleman-trained Thatwilldoso winning the 1m4f handicap, run at 6.05pm. On course RacingTV presenters Fran Berry and Donn McLean were wrapping up the day's action when unbeknown to them their broadcast was being photo-bombed. Berry had no idea until after he finished he started receiving messages alerting him to what had been going on in the background. He took a sceen shot of the clip and posted it on his social media with the message, 'Protests about the toilet roll shortage in Galway have intensified'. Among the best responses were 'cracking selfie', 'some craic' and 'first-time cheekpieces, Fran'. Berry told Mirror Racing: 'It was quite noisy by the last race on Saturday with a syndicate-owned horse having won. We were positioned inside the winners' ring and there was a lot of cheering going on. 'As we were doing a wrap we were completely unaware of what happened behind us. As soon as we finished up I got a lot of WhatsApp message with pictures and video of the lad in question. 'It's the nature of Galway, you can see everything and anything. There was no malice, it was just lads on a day out having too good a time. It was all taken in good humour.' He added: 'There was no toilet roll shortage by the way, it was just a caption to go with it. 'Galway is very easy going, the three lads looked to be enjoying themselves and no harm was done.'
