MediaTek introduced its new Dimensity 9400e chipset earlier today and confirmed the first smartphones powered by this chip will arrive not later than this month. It only took a few hours, but the first Dimensity 9400e-powered phone is here and it's coming from OnePlus The Chinese handset maker has just unveiled two new flagship smartphones : OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra. Both phones are exclusively available in China and it's unlikely that OnePlus will bring these devices to other countries.Unlike the OnePlus 13T which got a global version called OnePlus 13s, the Ace series is bound to remain exclusive to China. Out of the two phones announced today, only the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is rocking MediaTek's newly introduced Dimensity 9400e chipset. The other one, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is using the slightly more powerful Dimensity 9400+ processor.The cheaper of the two, the OnePlus 5 Ace Racing Edition sports a 6.77-inch flat LTPS OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a dual camera setup that includes two 50-megapixel sensors. Also, the Ace 5 Racing Edition features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a very generous 7,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A07 official image and specs revealed by Google Play Console listing
Samsung is currently working on the Galaxy A07, obvious successor to the A06 which launched back in August of last year. If the yearly release schedule holds, then this should arrive sometime next month. In the meantime, it's been spotted in the Google Play Console, which means we have the image of it below to gawk at. The phone has a screen with 720x1600 resolution, 6GB of RAM, and the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC at the helm. It will rather disappointingly run Android 15 when it launches. As you can see, it has a waterdrop notch and the new Samsung camera island design for everything except its flagship S series - it's now an actual oval-shaped island onto which the cameras are set, no more separate circles. The Google Play Console listing also tells us the upcoming Galaxy M07 will most likely just be a rebranded version of the A07, the latter having the model number SM-A075 (while the M07 is SM-M075). Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is coming, main specs already officially revealed
Vlad, 24 July 2025 While we wait for the Redmi Note 15 series, the Xiaomi sub-brand has a surprise almost ready to go: the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G. This model will be launching in India on July 28, as a new Flipkart microsite reveals. It's billed to arrive with "killer specs" and a "killer price". Spec-wise, the microsite has confirmed a screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 2,100-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top, as well as an embedded fingerprint sensor. The device's dual stereo speakers promise 300% louder volume (not sure compared to what, though) and Dolby Atmos support. The handset's main camera will have 50 MP resolution and is using Sony's Lytia LYT-600 sensor with OIS for "superior low-light captures". The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, and it has a 5,110 mAh battery. Now, if you're confused by all of these specs (no others have been officially revealed yet), you're not alone - everything here perfectly matches what the non-SE Redmi Note 14 already offers in India, and that device launched way back in December. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 beats the Dimensity 9500 in CPU clock speed
Yesterday we heard that MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9500 SoC's CPU would go past the 4 GHz threshold for the first time in the company's history, and today we have news about its main competitor. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, due to be unveiled in late September, is now rumored to hit 4.6 GHz for its regular model, and a whopping 4.74 GHz in the "for Galaxy" higher-bin iteration that Samsung will be using in at least some of the Galaxy S26 devices next year. The SoC's GPU is rumored to be clocked at up to 1.2 GHz, and its AnTuTu score, even in the tamer, generally available iteration (not the Samsung special), is rumored to be over 4 million. Qualcomm will keep using its custom Oryon cores in the second generation of the Elite, and the SoC will be made on TSMC's N3p 3nm process.
