Fever's Sophie Cunningham turns heads with 'hot girls' message before game
Cunningham walked into the United Center for the game with a message emblazoned across her T-shirt.
"Hot Girls Eat Arby's," the message read. She wore black leather shorts to go along with her outfit.
It's far from the first time that Cunningham has gone viral for some of the outfits she has worn on gameday. Going back to her days with the Phoenix Mercury, Cunningham was turning heads and making basketball followers give her a second look.
"I do think it's super cool that people are interested in what we do off the court now," she told Fox News Digital last September. "Our tunnel fits have been a fashion show, and people are so excited and intrigued about what we're going to wear."
More importantly for Cunningham and the Fever, Indiana won the game 93-78.
Cunningham started the game and played for 31 minutes. She scored five points, had two steals and one rebound as the Fever improved to 14-12.
Kelsey Mitchell broke out with 35 points on 12-of-19 from the floor.
Indiana has been without Caitlin Clark since before the All-Star break. Clark has been dealing with a groin injury with no timetable for her return.
The Fever are in the middle of the pack in the standings. They are one game behind the Seattle Storm for fifth place.

Don't think you're not about to still be aggressive and keep building your game.' His first instinct was always, whether we scored or didn't, he was going to pitch it ahead to me—let me score in transition, play that one-on-one game, shoot—whatever the case may be. Then I'd get it back, and it would just flow from there. Harden was very complimentary of Maxey after his Los Angeles Clippers beat the Sixers early in the 2024-25 season. It's obvious that the two of them are still friends and they have kept a good relationship even after Harden requested a trade in the 2023 offseason. In their post, the league announced that Bueckers has been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month for the month of July. "Paige Bueckers of the @DallasWings is your @Kia Rookie of the Month AGAIN," the post read. "Bueckers went off for 18.2 PPG, 3.2 RPG, and 5.2 APG in the month of July to earn her 2nd consecutive ROTM honors." Throughout the course of the entire season, Bueckers has played in 23 games. She has averaged 18.5 points per game to go along with 5.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.8 steals, while also shooting 45.4 percent from the floor and 34.1 percent from three-point range. As a comparison, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in 40 appearances as a rookie and shot 41.7 percent overall and 34.4 percent from three-point range. Minnesota Lynx's Cheryl Reeve named WNBA's best coach in July
The Minnesota Lynx are atop the WNBA standings by several games, and the woman in charge of the whole operation is getting her dues. The WNBA announced Monday that Cheryl Reeve is the league's Coach of the Month for July. The Lynx went 9-3 in July, capping the month with a 100-93 win over the New York Liberty, the WNBA's No. 2 team, in their first matchup since last year's finals. Minnesota averaged 87.8 points a game last month and allowed 78.5 points per game on defense — if maintained over a full season, both would top every other team in the league. Reeve is also coaching the league's leading MVP candidate, Napheesa Collier, to a career year. In July, Collier averaged 23.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.9 blocks a night. The superstar left Saturday's 53-point win over the Las Vegas Aces with an ankle injury, but Reeve said it's too soon to tell how severely she's hurt. Reeve, who also serves as the team's president of basketball operations, was named both Coach and Basketball Executive of the Year last season. The Lynx are 24-5 as of Monday.
