It is separate from the salary they're paid initially.

The star really aimed for transparency when he took to Instagram and shared his recent residual cheque of 41 cents.

The 31-year-old also has a million followers on Instagram and describes himself as a 'role model to tens of theater kids' but he perhaps still most famous for his past relationship.
He previously engaged to fellow former Disney star Dove Cameron.
The pair met on the Liv and Maddie show and got engaged in 2016 after two years of dating, but they called off their engagement in the same year.

McCartan announced their break-up on X and said, 'Dove has decided this relationship isn't what she wants' and added that the pair still loved each other and asked fans to be sensitive because it was a 'painful' time.
Cameron also tweeted about their break-up, saying it was an 'intense' time and adding that there was still lots of love between the pair.
Later, in an interview with Seventeen magazine, she admitted it was her first ever real relationship.

'It was on-screen and off-screen. A lot of what I went through in that first relationship, the very low-lows, I did not make public.'
'I was under the impression that I had to make everything look perfect all the time and my partner definitely put that in my ear,' she said.
Cameron also said that while fans thought they were sharing 'loads' of their relationship online, she felt like she'd hardly shared anything.
Meanwhile, McCartan went on the podcast, allegedly, and said the break-up was 'really hard' and 'plain out sucks,' but he understood that time would heal everything.

Vogue and Guess are under fire for the label's use of an AI model in an advert within the magazine's latest issue. In Vogue's latest issue, a two-page Guess ad features a model sitting with at a table while wearing a pale blue romper detailed with creme floral mesh appliqué, and the same model leaning against a wall in a black-and-white chevron-patterned maxi dress, with a coordinating handbag. Social media commentary have been harsh, especially toward Vogue, with calls to discontinue support for the magazine. "boycott Vogue NOW! they're pushing out models for AI, devaluing hard work and art of real people," one user wrote on X. "Had to end the Vogue magazine subscription I've had for years because the latest magazine used AI models ??? In Vogue? AI models in Vogue?" another person wrote. Had to end the Vogue magazine subscription I've had for years because the latest magazine used AI models ??? In Vogue? AI models in Vogue? Others shared disappointment that a real model was not used. "so many models wanting to appear in vogue, only for them to end up using AI models," one person wrote. "No actual human being has body proportions naturally like this with that symmetrical of a face and that airbrushed of of skin," YouTuber Isabel Brown said in a reaction video. "There already was major societal backlash to magazines trying to make women look completely unattainable and not realistic whatsoever." Guess has yet to post the advertisement on its social media pages. That has not stopped commenters from calling out the clothing company on other posts. USA TODAY has reached out to Vogue and Guess for comment. Seraphinne Vallora responds to AI, Vogue backlash The one company that has come out about the ad is its creator, Seraphinne Vallora. Described as an "AI-driven" marketing agency, the company's work has also been seen in Elle, Grazia, the Wall Street Journal, FT Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, according to the company's website. A post shared by Seraphinne Vallora (@seraphinnevallora) "Why can't engineers, graphic designers, 3D artists, coders, architect -any kind of creative- build beauty too?" the company said in a July 27 Instagram post. "And funnily enough, we actually hire photographers and models as part of our workflow," the company added, "we understand people may think Al will be replacing jobs, but in reality, it's just like any other tool in the design industry and it CREATES jobs, because this images are Al-Driven but made by HUMANS, CREATIVES AND DESIGNERS." H&M made headlines earlier this year when it announced it planned to make digital clones of its models, though it's "exploring" how to do so in "a responsible way."

Love Island USA Stars JaNa and Kenny Have Reportedly Broken Up

Getty Images (Edited) Love Island USA season 6 stars JaNa and Kenny have reportedly broken up. On July 27, 2025, TMZ was first to report that JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez have allegedly ended their relationship, citing sources familiar with the couple. According to the outlet, the duo, who met during season 6 of Love Island USA and ultimately finished in third place on the show, reportedly broke up on Sunday morning, with Craig apparently the one to break things off. Since getting together on the show, JaNa and Kenny have shared multiple public appearances together; most recently, the two attended a Love Island: Beyond the Villa premiere event in Los Angeles on July 9, 2025. The former couple currently belongs to the main cast of the spinoff, which premiered on Peacock earlier this month. The two also notably attended the 2025 American Music Awards and Coachella 2025 together in May and April, respectively. Speculation surrounding JaNa and Kenny's breakup started days before the reportedly split, when eagle-eyed fans began noticing the duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The duo also removed their names from each other's bios. JaNa has also removed all pictures of them together from her feed and disabled her comments. JaNa's Love Island USA friends Serena Page and Leah Kateb, best known as a trio as PPG, have also unfollowed Kenny on their Instagram, as have their partners Kordell Beckham and Miguel Harichi. Serena and Leah, along with their partners, ended up in first and second place, respectively, during their season. Neither JaNa nor Kenny has spoken publicly about their reported split yet, and the reason why they called it quits remains a mystery, but watch this space in case we learn more.
