Ankita Lokhande Gets Angry On Vicky Jain On Laughter Chefs: 'Pagal Kahin Ka'
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain landed in an argument in the recent episode of Laughter Chefs season two. It all started during a cooking challenge when Vicky claimed that Ankita was not using the right technique to make the dish. He seemingly got irritated with Ankita and said, 'Pagal ho chuki hai tu." To this, the former Pavitra Rishta actress also replied, 'Pagal kahin ka".
When Vicky asked why she was calling him a 'pagal", Ankita defended herself and said, 'Tu mujhe pagal bola pehle. Maine nahi bola. Tagal ho gaye hai tu bola." Vicky then asked his actress wife to calm herself down. 'Itna hyper hone ki zaroorat hai?" he asked. To this, Ankita replied, 'Aap ho rahe hai". An irritated Vicky then tried to explain to Ankita, 'Tu galat kar rahe hai, dekh nahi rahe."
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, who tied the knot in 2021, have been a part of Laughter Chefs ever since its first season. They are often seen getting into cute arguments with each other on the show. In one of the previous episodes, Ankita even joked that she and Vicky were expecting their first child together.
It all started after Krushna Abhishek snatched an ingredient from the former Pavitra Rishta actress. Ankita ran after him but soon asked Krushna not to make her run a lot. 'Main pregnant hoon," she said, leaving everyone shocked.
However, in one of her YouTube vlogs later, Ankita and Vicky addressed the rumours when the latter joked, 'News toh kaafi time se chal rahi hai, pregnancy when should be the question. Puri family lagi hui hai. Negotiations are on." Ankita, clearly amused but exasperated, added, 'Baat cheet chal rahi. I am tired of the questions."
Talking about Laughter Chefs 2, the show is currently gearing up for its finale. The semi-finale week was also graced by top television bahus – Shraddha Arya, Divyanka Tripathi, Isha Malviya. Esha Singh and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The show airs on Colors TV and JioHotstar.

Tahir Raj Bhasin On Being In Special Ops 2: 'Felt Like New Boy In School, Everyone Knew Each Other'
Bhasin said it is challenging to join a popular show in its second season. Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin says he felt like the new boy in school, but everyone welcomed him warmly on the sets of Neeraj Pandey's 'Special Ops 2", which features the actor in the role of an antagonist. Bhasin broke out with the Rani Mukerji-starrer 'Mardaani" in 2014, where he played a negative role. His other notable ventures include 'Chhichhore" and 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein", and '83". The actor described his role of 'Collector' in 'Special Ops 2" as someone who is 'part gangster, part tech tycoon". 'It's been about 10 years since I played an antagonist. What I really enjoy about the 'Collector' in 'Special Ops 2' is that he is a rebel with a cause," Bhasin told PTI in an interview. In the second season of the show, Kay Kay Menon's Himmat Singh is tackling cyber terrorism as an AI scientist is abducted from a tech summit in the show, which was released on JioHotstar on July 18. The show also features Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak and Muzammil Ibrahim. Bhasin said it is challenging to join a popular show in its second season. 'I felt like the new boy in school, where everyone else knew each other, but the rest of the ensemble were very warm and welcoming. Karan, in particular, was very friendly. I spent time with Kay Kay Menon off set and it was like meeting a senior from college because you know someone who has been in Bombay so much longer than you, just knows what life is about a little more," he said. 'Every conversation I would have with Kay Kay was very enlightening… What I see in Kay Kay's work is that he is always truthful and authentic to what the part is, he's not judging the character, and that's something that I hope to take forward in my work as well," he added. Which is why going head-to-head with Menon in the show felt like a big compliment for the actor. 'I gravitate towards lead parts that are disruptive… As the show unravels, you discover why he operates in certain ways, and there is an element of mystique to his character, but in his mind, he is a sort of reformer. One of the lines that has really stuck with the audience is 'I am also in the business of cyber security, just on a different side'." Bhasin said unlike conventional antagonists, his character relies completely on brains. 'If the show had been released 10-15 years ago, it would have seemed like science fiction, but in the recent past we have seen so many cyber attacks and financial attacks happen that it's all too real," he said. The actor is currently shooting for a Netflix show alongside Parineeti Chopra, which is directed by Renzil D'Silva. According to GQ India, the rental agreement for the villa was registered on February 25, 2025, with a whopping Rs 30 lakh security deposit and a five-year tenure starting from March 20. Hindustan Times adds that the agreement includes a 48-month lock-in period and a 10% rent hike after the first 36 months — a monthly rental figure so steep, it could rival the yearly income of many Indian engineers. Amitabh Bachchan Mocks Ben Stokes After India Declines Draw In Manchester Test: ‘Gore Ko Tika Diya'
Amitabh Bachchan reacts to Ben Stokes' draw offer in Manchester Test. 'Gore ko tika diya' comment goes viral as India bats on for a heroic draw. Cricket met cinema in classic style when legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan chimed in on the now-viral moment from the Manchester Test, where England captain Ben Stokes offered a draw to India—only to be cheekily rejected by Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. With just 15 overs left on the final day, India was well on its way to salvaging a draw and keeping the series alive. That's when Stokes extended an unexpected handshake—an offer to end the game early. But the Indian duo on the crease had other plans. They politely declined and continued batting. The moment triggered massive chatter online. On Monday, July 28, a social media post summarizing the incident—'Ben Stokes 🏴 offers a draw 🤝🏻 – India 🇮🇳 denies and continues to bat 🧐 – What's your take on this?"—caught the eye of Big B himself. And in true Amitabh Bachchan fashion, his response stole the show. 'Take !?? अरे गोरे को टिका (tika – sorry tayka) दिया रे." A blend of satire, wordplay, and swagger, his post instantly went viral. Fans flooded the comments, hailing Bachchan's sharp wit and national pride. Take !?? अरे गोरे को टिका (tika – sorry tayka diya ) दिया रे !!🤣 — Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) July 27, 2025 Drama On and Off the Field The Test match itself had its fair share of drama. After declining Stokes' offer, Jadeja stood tall with a gritty 107 not out, while Sundar remained unbeaten at 101, showcasing resilience and composure. The English camp, reportedly miffed by India's refusal to call it early, began delivering theatrical long hops—derisively known as 'donkey drops"—in what many perceived as passive-aggressive protest. Eventually, after both Indian batters reached their centuries, the teams shook hands, drawing the match in what had transformed from a sleepy finish to a surprisingly tense finale. What's Next for Big B? While Big B's commentary on cricket continues to entertain fans, the megastar remains just as busy on the silver screen. He will next be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta's legal thriller Section 84, co-starring Nimrat Kaur, Diana Penty, and Abhishek Banerjee. He also returns to two major franchises—Brahmāstra Part Two: Dev and the much-anticipated Kalki 2898 AD, continuing his streak of blockbuster roles across genres. view comments First Published: July 28, 2025, 17:31 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
