After speaking at length about building enough wealth to support four generations in an interview, actor Ram Kapoor has now given a house tour of his lavish home in Mumbai. In her latest vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan visited the actor and his wife Gautami Kapoor's South Mumbai house to make a new salad recipe and gossip about the good old days.
While welcoming them in his house, Ram met Dilip first and said, 'Bhai, asli star toh tu hai (you are the real star).' Farah jokingly made an upset face and said, 'Sharam toh nahi aayi na, mujhe baad mein hug kia tune (you should feel ashamed, you hugged me after him). Role yehi dene wala hai tereko iske baad?'
However, when she thought he called Dilip 'dhakkan' during the video, she was seen visibly bristling. The actor, however, was talking about one of his pets. She later made Ram also wash utensils when the actor revealed he was the brand ambassador for Vim detergent.
Before heading towards the kitchen, the actor gave Farah a tour of his lavish property, starting from the meeting/movie room. 'South Bombay ke bhai bade bade log,' she teased him. To which, Ram responded, 'I don't have a terrace which has a swimming pool, plus you have three floors, I have one.' The highlight in their bathroom was the huge lip shaped couch, a duplicate of a piece from the Maldives, which left the filmmaker surprised.
While chatting, Farah Khan revealed that she knows Ram Kapoor from the time when he weight around 150 kgs. 'When I was in college in Los Angeles in an acting school. In my one BHK flat, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Arbaaz Khan, and Rajesh Sathi came for two weeks,' he shared. 'Yeh mera poora Nehru Nagar ka poora gang, mujhe inn logon ne out kardia tha,' she replied.

Farah then asked him if the drastic weight loss has been helping him bagging more roles or not. 'Farah you know this, some people reach a level in their career where kaam aataa hai because they have nothing more to prove. I am no star, I never will be a star. My name is not Khan,' he said. 'He is a big star,' she retaliated. To which, he responded, 'Character actor bol na, mujhe acha lagta hai. Maine yeh kaam ke liye nahi kia, I did it for my health. Maine socha hua tha that I'll do it at 50 (Call me a character actor, I like it. I did this for my health and not work. I had decided I will do it once I reach 50).'
He also showed the viewers his coffin-shaped table in the bar. Ram's wife Gautami took Farah to show her a big portrait of the actor's picture in an older character from his film, which Farah likened to drug lord Pablo Escobar style painting. 'That was gifted to me by one of my producers from Neeyat film. It reminds me who I am, who I was. I was lucky that I was accepted like this,' he said. 'You are a good actor that's why, Humshakals nahi dekhi kya,' she laughed it off.
After entering their AC modulated kitchen to make a mango papaya salad, the Bade Ache Lagte Hain actor elaborated the details about Farah Khan's lavish house. 'Unka ghar shuru hota hai, building khatam hoti hai, par ghar khatam nahi hota. You go till the top in the lift, then there's another lift, which is her private one, jo aur 3-4 floors upar jaati hai. Then, there's a private terrace and swimming pool on the third floor. She owns a mini building on top of a massive building.'
Towards the end of the vlog, Gautami Kapoor gifted Dilip a t-shirt which read, 'Best', in Hindi. While sipping tea, Ram Kapoor then revealed that he eats two meals in a day and only consumes tea and coffee in between.

The thread quickly attracted attention and went viral, with numerous users sharing their own Reddit users offered theories suggesting that Kunder is simply a private individual who prefers to stay out of the public eye. Some mentioned that Farah herself appears to respect and protect this side of her life by not involving him in her content. A few pointed to past interviews in which Farah had admitted that her marriage to Shirish came at a time when they were both ready for parenthood and that their relationship began casually before turning serious. These remarks were interpreted as further signs that the couple may simply be choosing to maintain their own speculation deepened in 2024 when Farah's mother, Menaka Irani, passed away after a prolonged illness. Ram Kapoor says he ‘didn't have long to live' had he continued like he used to, doctor told him ‘tu mar jayega'

Actor Ram Kapoor opened up about his decision to get healthy, and said that he once weighed 140 kgs. The actor also addressed rumours that he has been using the controversial drug Ozempic, or one of its variants, and said that he hasn't. In an interview, Ram said that a stern warning from his doctor pushed him towards a healthy lifestyle, and revealed that he was told he wouldn't live long if he continued down the path he was on. He has now lost considerable weight, but was recently embroiled in a controversy over making inappropriate remarks during the press tour of his new show, Mistry. Appearing on Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast, he spoke about his drastic weight loss. 'Try maintaining a weight of 140 kgs, it's not easy,' he joked, as his co-star Mona Singh recalled memories of him eating an entire KFC bucket by himself. 'To become (thinner), you have to change your mindset completely. And when your mindset changes, every day you measure how much water you've had, how much you've slept, how much you've exercised,' he said. 'When I was shooting Neeyat in Scotland, I was at my worst. I was taking insulin shots thrice a day, before every meal. I was 140 kgs, and my sugar was at ridiculous heights. My doctor told me that I'm working so much and I'm so unhealthy, I could have a diabetic stroke. That's how unhealthy I was. I had to do a transformation, otherwise I would not have long to live.' He said that he promised his son that he would start taking better care of himself when he turned 50, and he won't stop until he gets six-pack abs. 'When I started this journey, I said that I want to reach the peak of health. I want to be the best that I can be. I'm still a work in progress. I want to set the best example for my son. If I want him to be healthy, I have to be healthy.' Ram said that it was a risk to change his appearance so drastically, because audiences accepted him the way he was for 25 years. 'A doctor told me that I would have to start Ozempic or Monjaro because of the bad shape I was in. I would've had a diabetic stroke otherwise. If I had not gotten fit, I would have 100% taken it, because I trust my doctor. He looks after my entire family, he's a friend. He said, 'You have two options, you either change yourself, or tu mar jayega (you will die)'.' Ram Kapoor admitted to making inappropriate comments during the press tour for Mistry, and said that he wouldn't have spoken in an objectionable manner had he been told that it was wrong. Reacting to the controversy, his television colleague Sudhanshu Pandey said that making such statements is a sign of mental imbalance.
