Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 ended on a huge cliffhanger and while Taylor Frankie Paul couldn't reveal exactly what happens, she's offering a glimpse into what viewers can expect to see in the upcoming episodes.
"There's some unexpected storylines that popped up," Paul told Newsweek of the 10 remaining episodes.
The Context
In the last episode of Season 2 that has been released, Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette tells Mormon Wives cast member Layla Taylor, that he had an affair with cast member Jessi Ngatikaura. He claimed in the episode that it wasn't just a one time thing, leaving Taylor shocked.
Earlier in the season there were rumors that something transpired between Brunette and cast member Demi Engemenn when some of the Mormon Wives cast visited Vanderpump Villa. Engemenn denied anything happened between herself and Brunette, calling it a shame that a man and a woman can't have a friendly interaction and Ngatiukaura has denied that Brunette's account of what happened is accurate.
What to Know
In the fall, Hulu greenlit 20 more episodes of the show and has only released 10 more as part of Season 2. The last episode ended on a "to be continued" message, leaving viewers wondering if there would be a second part to Season 2 or if viewers would have to wait for Season 3.
Unlike after Season 1, the Mormon Wives cast didn't get a break between filming what viewers saw in Season 2 and what they'll see on the upcoming episodes. Paul said it's difficult to do back-to-back filming, partially because it blurs together and they don't want to reveal spoilers about what viewers haven't seen and partially because it is a lot of time away from their kids.
"A lot of us were feeling a lot of shame, I think," Paul told Newsweek, referencing the mom guilt the cast feels. "However, there's this different mindset where I'm like, okay, we have to think about this as a crunch back to back but then we're gonna have the majority of the summer with our kids."

But, she added that there's also conflict between different people.
"It's actually crazy. It's mind blowing to me because I know there's a lot of people that think this is all produced or scripted, but it's not. It's all real, unfortunately," Paul said.
While Paul thought that she'd get a break from the drama, that turned out not to be the case last season and she said it isn't the case for the next batch of episodes that will be released.
What They're Saying
Ngatikaura on "The Viall Files" podcast: "Relationships are hard and they're nuanced. There's so much more that I'm excited to share because I think people will be able to relate to my story. I think it may help people."
Miranda McWhorter told People: "You'll get answers and maybe a little bit of closure, regarding [the end]."
What Happens Next
With filming expected to wrap before summer, it's possible viewers could get new episodes before the end of the year. But, the exact timeline of when episodes will be released – and whether it'll be Season 2, Part 2 or Season 3 – has not been confirmed by Hulu.

Barack Obama, Michelle Share Update on Divorce Rumors—'Hard Times'

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, shared an update on divorce rumors during a new episode of her podcast. Newsweek reached out to the Obamas' representative via email for comment on Wednesday. The Context Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States and served two terms from 2009 until 2017. The former president, 63, and former first lady, 61, got married on October 3, 1992 and share two children together: daughters Malia Obama, 27, and Sasha Obama, 24. At the start of this year, Michelle Obama did not attend former President Jimmy Carter's state funeral, and she skipped out on President Donald Trump's inauguration, too. Meghan McCain—the daughter of the late Republican Senator John McCain—added fuel to the fire on her Citizen McCain podcast, claiming she heard rumors that they were splitting up "by reputable people." What To Know On Wednesday's episode of IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson—which Michelle Obama co-hosts with her older brother, Craig Robinson—Barack Obama appeared as a guest, and the spouses addressed their relationship. Kristoffer Tripplaar-Pool/Getty Images "Welcome to IMO, look at you," Michelle Obama said to her husband, to which Robinson teased: "Wait, you guys like each other?" "Oh yeah really, huh. That's the rumor mill," the Becoming author replied. "It's my husband, y'all." "She took me back!" Barack Obama joked, which prompted his wife to say: "Now don't start." "It was touch and go for a while," the politician playfully added. As the trio laughed, Robinson chimed in: "It's so nice to have you both in the same room." "I know because when we aren't, folks think we're divorced," Michelle Obama said. Later on in the podcast, she further shut down any rumors. "There hasn't been one moment in our marriage where I've thought about quitting my man, and we've had some really hard times," the attorney shared. "We've had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I'm married to." In response, Barack Obama told her not to "make me cry right at the beginning of the show." "Don't let me start tearing up now," he said. This isn't the first time Michelle Obama has touched on split rumors. In June, she pushed back on speculation during NPR's Wild Card with Rachel Martin. "It's like, OK, so we don't Instagram every minute of our lives," the Harvard Law School graduate said. "We are 60. We're 60, y'all. We just, you just are not gonna know what we're doing every minute of the day, you know?" What People Are Saying IMO teased the Barack Obama episode on Tuesday with a video posted to Instagram. In the comments, fans shared their excitement for the conversation. Black Panther actor Ricky Barksdale wrote in a note with 6,964 likes: "Hey man we need you back here, this babysitter is crazy." HBCU Symphony founder, who goes by @sirthebaptist on Instagram, said in a message: "Man I miss this guy being in charge of America." @_fabulousray shared in a reply with 56 likes: "I AMMMMMMMM SO ELATEDDDDDDDDD THAT OUR FOREVER PRESIDENT WILL FINALLLLLLLLY BE ON THE @imopodcasts. I have been waiting on his appearance since this podcast launched 4 months ago! God really does answers prayers. I am ready to see the swag and hear the laughter and jokes all while gaining more wisdom. I love y'all so much." @thenajahall remarked: "Mom and Dad!!!" @gemstone2014 added: "Very good conversation." What Happens Next IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson airs new episodes on Wednesdays on platforms like Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts.

Man Eats Sandwich, Internet Not Prepared for What Crawls Out of It at End

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. What started as a simple meal for one Reddit user quickly grew complicated after a startling discovery at the end of his sandwich. The man who shared his experience in a post revealed that a live snail crawled out of the sandwich contents after he had eaten most of it already. Viewers were both disgusted and amused. Since the post was published, it has received 15,000 upvotes. "Made myself a sandwich, and when I got to the end of it this guy crawls out," he captioned the video, which shows the small snail slowly but steadily navigating the surface of the sandwich. "I was just chilling in some arugula and then this guy ate my entire family. I was the sole survivor," one person imagined the snail's internal dialogue. Another praised its perseverance: "Bro, he didn't just crawl out, he went on his life's mission to get out of the sandwich and get on to the outside to alert you not to eat him in time...I salute him," they wrote. While the humor was abundant, many users also raised serious health concerns. A top comment warned, "Don't eat it! They carry rat lungworm in their slime! Very dangerous parasite!" Another user expressed shock at the narrow escape: "The sheer amount of luck you had to not eat that little dude. Oh my insane amount of danger you just avoided is mind boggling." The original poster later provided some context in the comments. Living in France, he confirmed that all the ingredients used for the sandwich were purchased from a supermarket. He also provided an update on the snail's fate, albeit a somber one: "He was the king here until he died five minutes later from the salt, most likely." Given his location in France, the poster made a culturally relevant remark about snails as a commonly enjoyed food. "I live in France and yes [snails] are delicious, usually they come dead and in garlic butter though," he quipped. Despite the lighthearted tone, though, the food incident left a lasting impression on his eating habits. "I had a great time with the first three quarters of the sandwich until he showed himself," he concluded in a comment. "Now I may never eat a sandwich again." While finding a snail in food can be unsettling, it's also a testament to the fact that fresh produce, even from commercial sources, can sometimes harbor unwanted guests—and it's always best to keep an eye on what you're ingesting. Bridesmaid Looks at Wedding Pictures—Can't Believe What's in the Background

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. One woman has shared what she noticed when she zoomed in on a friend's wedding photo, the perfect example of friendship—and why you should always be aware of where the cameras are. Breezi Holt, 28, from Orange County, didn't expect a wedding photo to turn into a viral moment, but when she shared it on TikTok, people couldn't get enough of what was captured in the background. While serving as a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding in San Luis Obispo, Holt found herself part of a candid moment when she zoomed in to see her friend sniffing her armpit. "I zoomed in because I thought it was hilarious," Holt told Newsweek. "My first initial reaction was that I cannot believe we are in a back of a picture doing this. My best friend Jenna is the one sniffing my armpit," she laughed. The video on TikTok gained more than 400,000 views since being shared earlier this week, leaving people in stitches at the snapshot of chaotic girlhood. Hold told Newsweek: "I think the reaction from TikTok is hilarious and that is my majority of my videos I post are comedy. "I love posting real, raw content that shows not everyone is picture perfect all the time." This isn't the first time a camera has captured an accidental moment. Earlier this year a man was shocked when a delivery notification revealed an unexpected problem—he was out, but his door was left wide open. While a couple filmed the moment they got engaged only to accidentally capture something else, the moment their dog got into a chaotic situation in the nearby river rapids. In the comments, people shared their reactions. Viewer Emily said: "That's a top tier friend right there." While Alex sympathized: "I've never been caught photogenic once in my life." Viewer Molly said: "I love girlhood so much," while TikToker bmassey32 wrote: "I just laughed out loud." "God forbid a girl need a pit check," joked viewer Alli in the comments. According to The Knot 2025 Real Weddings Study, which surveyed nearly 17,000 newlyweds who got married last year across the U.S., the average price for a wedding photographer is $2,900. The study found that range for the average wedding photographer cost was $2,649–$3,574. Couples who got married in the Southwest spent the least while those who got married in the Mid-Atlantic spent the most in the U.S. But despite an increasing desire for picture-perfect wedding moments, Holt's post proved that sometimes the best memories come from the unexpected moments.
