Israeli Forces Arrest 14 Palestinians in the West Bank - Jordan News

Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest and raid campaign across various areas of the occupied West Bank on Monday, detaining 14 Palestinians, including former prisoners, amid a surge in settler violence as part of an escalating, systematic assault across the territory. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the arrests were carried out in the cities of Hebron, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tubas, and Ramallah. In a related development, Israeli bulldozers demolished homes and agricultural structures in Khirbet al-Tawil, located on the lands of Aqraba, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank. Salah Jaber, the mayor of Aqraba, reported that Israeli forces stormed the area accompanied by two bulldozers and began demolition operations, causing significant damage to residents' property as part of the ongoing Israeli policy of displacement and harassment in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers uprooted approximately 150 olive saplings in the Gziwa area near the village of Susiya, located in the Masafer Yatta region south of Hebron, further intensifying settler-led aggression against Palestinian agricultural lands.

Dozens of Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound - Jordan News

Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque—also known as Al-Haram Al-Sharif—in occupied Jerusalem on Monday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, the settlers entered the compound from the Moroccan Gate and carried out provocative tours throughout the site. They were also seen performing Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the mosque compound. The Waqf added that Israeli police imposed further restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, including confiscating their ID cards at the mosque's outer gates. Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subject to daily violations and incursions, except on Fridays and Saturdays. These repeated actions are widely viewed as attempts to assert full Israeli control over the holy site and implement a temporal and spatial division. Such incursions often escalate tensions in Jerusalem and are condemned by Palestinians and many international observers as violations of the sanctity of one of Islam's holiest sites.

Olive Tree Massacre: Israeli Settlers Uproot 200 Trees in Southern West Bank - Jordan News

Israeli settlers uprooted approximately 200 olive trees on Monday in the Masafer Yatta area, located in the southern part of the occupied West Bank. اضافة اعلان Mohammad Makhamreh, a farmer from the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, said that a group of settlers smashed and uprooted olive trees that were around 8 years old. 'I depend entirely on agriculture,' Makhamreh stated. 'For years, I've faced repeated attacks by settlers, including physical assaults and destruction of my crops.' He added, 'Their goal is to clear the land of trees and leave it barren to facilitate confiscation under the pretext that it is uncultivated.' Despite these assaults, Makhamreh vowed: 'Whatever happens, we will replant the land and remain on it. We will not give it up to the settlers.' A day earlier, settlers reportedly uprooted and destroyed around 180 olive and citrus saplings in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, in the northern West Bank. Settler violence continues to escalate across the West Bank, including attacks on Palestinians, their homes and property, and the illegal establishment of settlement outposts. According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, 15 new outposts were attempted in May 2025, primarily for agricultural and herding purposes. In the same month, the commission documented 415 settler attacks on Palestinians and their property, ranging from armed assaults to vandalism, land bulldozing, tree uprooting, and forced closures.
