Madeline Gaudreau Says She ‘Can't Do Life Without' Sister-in-Law Meredith Ahead of Katie's Wedding
'Can't do life without you,' Madeline wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 11, sharing a photo with Meredith ahead of the ceremony.
Meredith and Madeline were married to brothers Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau until their tragic and sudden deaths in an August 2024 car accident. They were 31 and 29, respectively.
The siblings' younger sister got married to her high school sweetheart, Devin Joyce, on Friday. The pair were due to get married the weekend of Johnny and Matthew's accident, but postponed their plans in the wake of their deaths.

Both Madeline and Meredith were in Katie's wedding party and wore matching champagne-colored halter dresses. Their children were also included in the ceremony.
'My forever date,' Madeline gushed on Friday of son Tripp, who was born months after Matthew's death.
Meredith and Johnny's daughter, Noa, was a flower girl in the ceremony and wore a poofy white dress. The couple's young sons, Johnny Jr. and Carter, twinned in blue seersucker suits. Meredith carried them down the aisle before Katie's entrance.
Katie and her now-husband made sure both Johnny and Matthew were honored when they finally said 'I do.'
Katie Gaudreau Marries Fiance Devin Joyce Nearly 1 Year After Brothers Johnny and Matt's Deaths
'I am making the most special video for our wedding featuring the boys and their best dance moves and I found these amazing videos in Kristen's wedding video,' Katie previously wrote via Instagram in April, referring to her older sister. 'I hope one day my future children have a bond exactly like us four. On the lookout for all videos anyone has of them busting it down on the dance floor, kitchen, country concerts, or them just being them.'
As for Meredith and Madeline, they have both been candid about losing their husbands and moving forward as single parents.
'I feel numb, angry, sad, blessed all at once. Some days, the thought of this new reality is debilitating, but mostly I just miss Matt,' Madeline said during the September 2024 funeral. 'Matt will surround his son for the rest of his life. I'm so thankful God gave us a child, a little Matty, to run around for life, to carry on his legacy. Tripp will know how much his father loved him, and I promise to do all the things with him we talked about.'
She teamed up with Meredith earlier this year to launch a nonprofit foundation in Johnny and Matthew's names to 'make a positive impact' on the hockey world.

Latest ‘Tron: Ares' Trailer Features New Nine Inch Nails Song ‘Something to Believe In'
Ahead of next week's San Diego Comic Con Hall H panel, Disney has unleashed a new trailer for their forthcoming legacy sequel 'Tron: Ares,' from director Joachim Rønning, the latest installment of the franchise that began way back in 1982 with the cutting-edge 'Tron.' You can watch it below. No coins necessary. 'Tron: Ares,' which follows 2010's 'Tron: Legacy,' concerns a highly sophisticated program from the digital realm, Ares (Jared Leto), who crosses over into our world on what Disney is describing as a 'dangerous mission.' This will mark humanity's first encounter with A.I. beings. So far, the 'Tron' films have taken primarily in the computer world; it'll fun to see that world come into ours for the first time. More from TheWrap Latest 'Tron: Ares' Trailer Features New Nine Inch Nails Song 'Something to Believe In' Netflix Sets October Release for Edward Berger's 'Ballad of a Small Player' 'Fixed' Red Band Trailer Gives a Taste of Just How Naughty Netflix's Animated Dog Comedy Is Disney+ Sets First-Ever Live Stream of Premiere Event With 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Joining Leto on and off the grid are Greta Lee, Evan Peters (as Julian Dillinger, a name that might be familiar to fans of the franchise), Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson (as another Dillinger). And, somewhat surprisingly, is the return of Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn. Flynn was the main character of the first movie, while the sequel featured Flynn and his digital alter-ego Clu. But both characters died at the end of 'Tron: Legacy,' which makes Bridges' return much more intriguing. (Bridges recently told Empire Magazine, 'As The Dude might say, new shit has come to light.') Of course, what makes this new 'Tron' installment even more exciting is the fact that Nine Inch Nails are doing the soundtrack. Previously, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have used their real names while composing the memorable scores to projects like David Fincher's 'The Social Network,' Pete Docter's 'Soul' and Luca Guadagnino's 'Challengers.' But this time they broke out their rock-and-roll moniker, and you can hear a taste of the first single from the 'Tron: Ares' soundtrack,' Something to Believe In,' in the trailer. Expect to hear much more about 'Tron: Ares' after next weekend's big Hall H presentation. 'Tron: Ares' hits theaters on Oct. 10.
