Man Utd-linked star fuels transfer rumours by 'liking' Instagram post
The 25-year-old striker joined Juve for a fee of £60million from Fiorentina with weighty expectations on his shoulders and a reputation as one of the finest young talents in European football three years ago.
But while Vlahovic has scored 58 goals in 145 appearances in that time, the forward has struggled to live up to his hefty price tag – and Juve's Coppa Italia triumph remains his own major title with the Italian giants.
Rumours have been swirling that Vlahovic could be set for a big-money transfer and there would be no shortage of potential suitors should Juve put the Serbian up for sale, with Fenerbahce and Al-Ahli credited with an interest.
Manchester United have also been heavily linked following a poor campaign for both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee – and recent reports emanating out of Italy claimed Juve were prepared to offer up Vlahovic in exchange for Jadon Sancho.

It's believed the two-time European champions would also willing to part with one of Douglas Luiz or Timothy Weah to lure Sancho from Old Trafford to Turin.
There was another twist in the tale on Tuesday night as Vlahovic was left as an unused substitute in Juve's Club World Cup loss to Madrid in Miami, where Gonzalo Garcia scored the only goal of the game.
It meant Vlahovic made just one start across Juve's campaign and it appears the Serbia international was less than impressed to be snubbed again by Igor Tudor… if his social media antics are anything to go by.
Shortly after the final whistle, Madrid midfielder Bellingham took to Instagram to write, 'Next step, quarter finals. Great graft from the boys!' – and eagle-eyed fans soon realised that Vlahovic had 'liked' the post, perhaps shedding some light on his frustrations.
Unsurprisingly, many Juventus supporters have not been overly happy to see one of their own players seemingly revelling in the club's elimination in the Unites States.
The last-16 defeat marks the end of an especially disappointing season for Vlahovic, in which the ex-Fiorentina man managed a total of just ten league goals for Juventus. https://www.instagram.com/p/DLlJMpACt6Q/?hl=en&img_index=1
Vlahovic' current contract in Turin is due to expire in 2026, meaning Juve must decide whether to sell the striker now or risk losing him on a free transfer in 12 months' time.
Earlier this month, Juve general manager Damien Comolli revealed that he was in talks with Vlahovic to determine what the attacker 'has in mind' amid uncertainty over his future. More Trending
'I spoke with Dusan last week. The player should return soon and I want to speak to him to find out what he has in mind,' Comolli said.
'He is a top player. Something did not work [last season], I realise it is not enough.
'I do not know who is to blame. I have to speak to the player and understand because there is no doubt that he is a top player.
'We need to understand what his intentions are.'

‘He lit up a room': Trent Alexander-Arnold pays tribute to Diogo Jota
Trent Alexander-Arnold has described his former Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota as 'someone who lit up a room'. The Liverpool forward died along with his brother, André Silva, in a car accident in Spain on Thursday. Alexander-Arnold is at the Club World Cup in the United States with Real Madrid having left Anfield at the end of their title-winning 2024-25 season. He spoke to Dazn after Madrid's quarter-final victory over Borussia Dortmund in New Jersey. 'Some things are bigger than the game,' the right-back said. 'It has been difficult but it's been very emotional, very heartwarming to see the footballing world uniting and come together to show their love and support to him and his family, and obviously his brother as well. 'So although it's been difficult, it's also been a nice showing out from everyone, all clubs, all people, uniting and showing love and support for what must be a mind-blowingly hard time for the family. 'I've been … around him and his brother, his family, his amazing wife, his parents, his amazing three children. It's truly, truly heartbreaking to wake up to news like that. It's something that you would never, ever expect. 'He was a very close friend, someone who lit up a room when he was in it. I shared the dressing room for five years [and have] amazing memories on and off the pitch with him. It goes without saying he will never be forgotten by anyone. He will live long in all our memories for the amazing man and player he was.'

Arsenal sign Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad
The Spain international, 26, moves to the Emirates Stadium on a long-term deal after the Gunners reportedly triggered his £51million release clause. Euro 2024 winner Zubimendi had previously been a target for Liverpool and was also linked with Real Madrid. Zubimendi told the club website: 'This is a huge moment in my career. It's the move I was looking for and one I wanted to make. As soon as you set foot here, you realise how big this club and this team are. 'I set my sights on Arsenal because their style of play is a good fit for me. They have shown their potential recently and the best is yet to come.' Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is confident Zubimendi can help reinforce his midfield options, having seen Thomas Partey's contract expire and Jorginho also leave the club. 'Martin is a player who will bring a huge amount of quality and football intelligence to our team. He will fit in really well and he has all the attributes to be a key player for us,' Arteta said. 'The standard he has consistently performed at over the last few seasons for both club and country is exactly why we are so excited to have him with us. We all welcome Martin and his family to the club.' A post shared by Arsenal (@arsenal) A graduate of the Sociedad academy system, Zubimendi made 236 appearances for the club in all competitions at senior level and helped the team lift the delayed 2019-20 Copa del Rey with victory over Athletic Bilbao. He was also involved as Sociedad finished fourth in the 2022-23 season – their highest league finish – to reach the Champions League for only the third time in their history. The midfielder has been capped 19 times by Spain, where he was part of the squad who won the Nations League in 2023 and became European champions last year after beating England in the final. Zubimendi becomes Arsenal's second signing this summer after goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga joined from Chelsea. The Gunners are also expected to complete the signing of Christian Norgaard, with the Brentford captain looking set to join for a reported £10m with a potential £5m of add-ons.

‘A real shock': Bayern Munich confirm Musiala out for long period with leg fracture
Bayern Munich have said Jamal Musiala faces a 'lengthy' recovery from a leg fracture after his collision with Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Club World Cup. Bayern said on Sunday that Musiala had flown back from Florida to Munich that morning for surgery on the injury the attacking midfielder picked up in Saturday's loss to PSG in the quarter-finals. Bayern said doctors found Musiala 'sustained a fracture of the fibula [a bone in the lower leg] associated with a broken and dislocated ankle'. The Bayern board member for sport, Max Eberl, said in a statement: 'This serious injury and the lengthy lay-off are a real shock for Jamal and us all.' 'This hits FC Bayern. Everyone knows how immensely important Jamal is for our game and what a central role he has in our team. Furthermore, there's also a huge human impact and we all feel for him. Jamal has just come back from an injury and will now be out for another long period. He'll get everything he needs from us. We'll support him intensively, be by his side and already look forward to when he's back on the pitch.' The Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was fiercely critical of Donnarumma over the incident on Saturday. '[This is] a situation where you don't have to go in like that; that's reckless,' he said. 'He accepts the risk of injuring his opponent … It's a question of respect to go over and wish the guy all the best. He did it afterwards. Fairness is always important. I would have reacted differently.' Vincent Kompany added that he had 'rarely been so angry' over an incident on the pitch. 'Someone like Jamal lives for this [game],' the Bayern head coach said. 'He's here after a setback and something like this happens. And you feel powerless.' After the match, Donnarumma posted on Instagram: 'All my prayers and well wishes are with you Jamal.' The PSG manager, Luis Enrique, said Musiala was ''very unlucky that Gigi fell on him … I wish him the best. There is no bad intent.'
