The Radio 1 DJ said: 'A few of us have just been away filming a TV show which is coming out at the end of the year. It's a really exciting one actually and it'll be on around when the jungle's on.
'A bit of a camp reunion . . . and it is camp, I'm doing it!'
Dean was in the jungle with celebrities including Coleen Rooney, Loose Woman and Sun columnist Jane Moore and TikTok star GK Barry.
His career has rocketed since then.
He is now a regular on ITV panel shows such as Big Brother: Late And Live and has just appeared on BBC's The Hit List.
There was some tension between Dean and other camp mates in the jungle.
During the show, fans hit out at Dean for catty comments towards Coleen.
Scouse WAG Coleen revealed her husband Wayne Rooney didn't put on a lavish proposal when he popped the question.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph direct to camera and away from camp, Dean delivered a catty comment as he sniped: "Coleen I'm not being funny babe but I would have run a mile.
"But then I would have missed out on the big house, the nice life and the four day wedding, and everything."
Viewers at home didn't miss the catty comment either, as one said: "Why is it we have to keep seeing Dean comment on everything in the hut?"

Arrests made after 'iconic' statues stolen from sprawling country mansion

Thieves broke into Grade II star-listed Ilford Manor in an overnight raid last Friday, where four classic statues, some of which had stood in the grounds for more than a century, were taken Two men have been arrested following the theft of four statues from a country house garden last Friday (June 20), with police urging antiques dealers to be on the lookout for some historic stolen goods. The Grade I-listed Ilford Manor, near Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, was targeted in an overnight raid. Four replica classic statues, some of which have been situated in the grounds for over a century, were stolen. Avon and Somerset officers revealed that a car with a police marker was pulled over in the Bristol area on Thursday evening. A 31-year-old and a 39-year-old were subsequently arrested. Both men, who reside outside of Wiltshire, have been released on conditional bail with orders not to enter the county. Ilford Manor, owned by William and Marianne Cartwright-Hignett, boasts gardens open to the public. The loss of their copy of the Capitoline She-Wolf has been particularly felt, reports Bristol Live. This bronze statue, which has "overlooked the valley for over 120 years", portrays a scene from the legend of the founding of Rome and was at the "heart" of the estate's peaceful setting. A pair of symmetrical fawns, replicas of the Villa Dei Papyri fawns, and a bust of Antinous were also tkaen. At the time of the theft, the estate - which has served as a filming location for the Secret Garden and ITV's Sanditon – was hosting a five-day jazz festival. In a statement published on their website, the estate said it was "still reeling from the theft". "This is a cultural loss for all of us," it added. "The gardens here have welcomed visitors since 1910 and now have 20,000 visitors from April to September who enjoy the tranquil and beautiful setting, of which the She-Wolf was the heart and in a setting made to showcase the statue. "We would love to see the statues returned to their rightful place for everyone to continue to enjoy for centuries to come." William Cartwright-Hignett, the managing partner of Iford Manor Estate, said at the time of the theft: 'We spent our whole lives and existences with our team trying to maintain, preserve and enhance this beautiful place for the benefit of all of our visitors and future visitors for the heritage. "It is devastating to see such iconic pieces which are very important to the design of the garden being stolen away in the night." According to Detective Inspector Penny Andrews: "We are continuing to appeal for anyone who knows anything about the stolen items or who saw anything suspicious leading up to the incident to come forward with information." She added that even the smallest detail could prove crucial: "No matter how insignificant you may think the information may be, it could be vital to assist our ongoing investigation." The police are also urging anyone working in antiques or auction houses to be vigilant for the stolen goods.

Danny Dyer and Emily Atack sign up for 'big money TV gameshow' on ITV after starring together on hit Disney+ series Rivals

Danny Dyer and Emily Atack are set to be ITV's next hosting duo as they 'sign up' to front a brand new game show. Bosses at the broadcaster have reportedly brought in the pair in a bid to 'freshen up their entertainment talent'. An insider told The Sun: 'Bosses have been impressed with Danny and Emily's charisma on Rivals and thought they'd make an amazing duo on-screen to freshen up their entertainment talent. 'They're an unlikely pair but have appeared on a few panel shows together and have plenty of fun energy that is perfect for the tone that ITV want to set. 'Producers are keen to trial new presenting partnerships to get people talking, and both Emily and Danny have huge appeal.' The publication reports they're set to receive a whopping £250,000 each, with the show expected to air next year. MailOnline has contacted representatives for Danny, 47, and Emily, 35. The pair have been busy so far this year filming the second series of the smash-hit series, based on the racy books of Dame Jilly Cooper. Danny, who played pub landlord Mick Carter in EastEnders for almost a decade, is no stranger to game shows. The hardman previously hosted The Wall for the BBC, which ran for three series before ending in 2022 when Danny left EastEnders and the BBC. Mum-of-one Emily starred as a team captain on now-axed CelebJuice with Keith Lemon and Laura Whitmore. Meanwhile, Danny recently revealed his bizarre diet hack to keep the weight off. He admitted that while he does find his hack effective, it does become a 'struggle.' Speaking to Louis Theroux on his podcast, Danny explained: 'I want to build up to not eating anything on Monday. 'I fast in the day just to keep the weight off. I feel like if you fast, it's good for your body as well. 'But it's a struggle. Mondays are s**te anyway. 'So you know you got to look forward to your dinner on a Monday. But I do fast during the day until the afternoon.' Danny added: 'Just liquids so your body can start to eat itself. You've got to drink plenty of water while you're doing it and it does work.'
