LU issues guidelines as entrance exam begins today

The entrance tests for 14 UG courses will continue until July 12. Beginning with the entrance tests, the first examination will be for D.Pharma in the first shift (10:30 am to 12 noon), and the second will be for B.Sc. (agriculture) in the evening shift (2:30-4:00 pm).
The question paper will contain 100 multiple-choice questions which must be solved in 90 minutes. Each question will be worth 2 marks. There will be no negative marking.
"Candidates appearing for the entrance examination are suggested to carefully read all the instructions mentioned in the admit card. Candidates should reach the examination centre one hour before the commencement of the examination," said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
He said no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the commencement of the test. They must bring two of their photographs with them and any identity card like Aadhar card, PAN card, driving licence or voter card.
"Candidates are allowed to bring drinking water in a transparent bottle. They should have blue and black ballpoint pens only. Candidates who claimed UE, CT, PwD, FF, Ex Army reservation and asked for weightage of NCC and Sports should bring their original certificates and get them verified compulsorily immediately after the examination," he added.

Camps for pension scheme beneficiaries from Jul 14
Varanasi: Under the National Social Assistance Programme, camps will be organised from July 14 to August 5 by zone/ward wise to provide benefits to eligible persons residing in urban areas under the National Old Age Pension Scheme, Destitute Women Pension Scheme, and Disabled Pension Scheme. Delhi University has officially opened the correction window for undergraduate admissions 2025 through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal. The university is admitting students based on their CUET-UG 2025 scores, and the admission process is being conducted in multiple phases. Delhi University Admissions 2025: In its recent press release, Delhi University (DU) is set to launch the second phase of its undergraduate admissions for the 2025 academic session under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) from July 8, 2025. Candidates who have already gone through phase one of the process can log in to the online official portal to make their list of preference for the combinations of college and courses. Interested candidates can refer to the given link:- The window for preference filling will be open between July 8th to July 14th last by 11:59 PM after which the preferences will be locked automatically. The university has also permitted fresh candidates to register, keeping both Phase I and Phase II open until July 14. Notably, candidates are also provided with a one-time correction window for the phase one application that will be live on July 11th last by 11:59 PM, which can only be submitted once and cannot be reopened. Process after phase two- After the conclusion of phase two, simulated ranks will be released around 5 PM on July 16th followed by the first allocation of seats on July 19th around 5P M. The candidates are required to lock their seats by accepting it, last by 4:59 PM on July 21st after which document verification is to be done by the candidate and college approval by the staff by July 22nd.
