Johnny Depp honors Ozzy Osbourne in surprise performance alongside Alice Cooper
By Brie Stimson
Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance on Friday, joining Alice Cooper at his concert in London, honoring Ozzy Osbourne with a song just days after his death.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star rocked out with Cooper and his band on his guitar, playing Black Sabbath's 1970 hit "Paranoid" to a raucous audience while sporting a Captain Jack-style scarf and sunglasses.
"Lovely tribute last night to Ozzy by Alice Cooper featuring Johnny Depp," one person wrote on social media while posting video of the performance.
A second person posted on X: "I saw Johnny Depp last night in London. He made a surprise appearance at the Alice Cooper gig I was at. I was so excited."
OZZY OSBOURNE'S MESSAGE TO FANS CAPS DECADES-LONG LEGACY: 'THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART'
Cooper jokingly introduced Depp as "some guy we found out in the alley that said something about vampires" as the crowd roared, another video on social media showed.
Depp and Cooper are in the band The Hollywood Vampires together.
"Here's for Ozzy!" Cooper shouted to the crowd while wearing an Osbourne T-shirt as they finished the song.
The actor, who is returning to Hollywood with the upcoming thriller "Day Drinker" with Penélope Cruz, stayed around after the Osbourne tribute to play the Alice Cooper classic "School's Out" with the band.

JOHNNY DEPP SAID 'F--- YOU' TO HOLLYWOOD AS AMBER HEARD ALLEGATIONS DERAILED HIS CAREER
"Everybody in, this one's for Oz tonight," Cooper told his band backstage before a show in Cardiff, Wales, on the night Osbourne died in a video he shared on his Instagram.
Cooper wrote in the post's caption that the band found out about Osbourne's death just before going on stage.
"Well, we all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it's really hard to accept," Cooper said in a statement he posted in the caption and recorded for his radio show Alice's Attic before performing that night. "Even though everybody saw it coming with Ozzy, it just took our breath away when it happened. So Ozzy and family - your records and your music and your legend and all that you brought - the humor to the rock business - will live on forever and we're gonna miss you man."

The post said that the Cardiff show was dedicated to the late Black Sabbath frontman.
"Following the show, Alice summed up his thoughts by saying 'The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. Over his long career, he earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon,'" the post said.

Cooper said he always saw Osbourne as a mix between the "Prince of Darkness" and what his family and friends saw: "a court jester."
"He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better," he added.

Rebecca Loos shares 'special' details about David Beckham alleged 'affair' on Celebrity SAS

David Beckham's ex-PA has addressed the scandal on the Channel 4 reality show. Rebecca Loos has addressed the David Beckham "affair" scandal in scenes set to air on Celebrity SAS as she admitted: "He always made me feel very special." The former personal assistant (PA), 48, is starring on Channel 4's toughest reality show, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. It's a step back into public life after she shied away from it. It's been more than 20 years since Loos sold her story in 2004 to the now-defunct newspaper News of the World, claiming she had an affair with the footballer who is married to Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham; the Beckhams have always denied the claims. Now Loos' life looks totally different: she's moved to Norway, works as a yoga teacher and has children of her own. Her peace and quiet was disturbed when Beckham and his wife Victoria spoke about the impact the scandal had on their marriage in their Netflix docuseries in 2023. It isn't long before Loos brings up the Beckham situation on Celebrity SAS as seen in scenes on Sunday. "I wouldn't say the British press have been kind in how they have portrayed me because of the Beckham situation," she told the cameras for Celebrity SAS. "I have been accused of being a liar, a slut, a sleazy senorita but I'm not used to being shouted at by bulky men so that's new for me!" After failing the first task, Loos faces a grilling from the Directing Staff where she talks about the scandal. The yoga teacher said she has no regrets. "Lessons learned," she said, alluding to the Beckham scenario. "If I went back in time of course [I'd do things differently]." Rebecca Loos speaks about David Beckham scandal Asked how she felt about it, she reveals: "I was his PA, personal assistant. He always made me feel very special. But it was no big deal, I still did my job. I didn't fancy him that much in the beginning anyway. On the first night I was with him, I said to him, 'You must do this all the time'. "I thought I was a little bit of fun for him. He said to me, 'No I've never done this before.' He could have said, 'Yeah I've had loads of girls. I'm just having some fun.' Fine by me, I know where I'm going in." Loos says she didn't expect anything. "The fact that he lied to me the whole time, that p***ed me off," she says. The former PA explains why she gave that tell-all interview to the News of the World. She says: "I was unhappy with the way I had been treated. So I didn't want to go around anymore, carrying this secret. Rumours that were spreading, journalists were getting in touch, in the end I decided it was better it comes from me. So I gave an interview, thinking it would be something and it ended up being something else. I spent a few years trying to see if I can get it back." Beckham's ex-PA went through 'hell' With time to reflect on her own, Loos claims it was unfair Beckham's life flourished while she went through "hell". She says: "I do look back at who i was in my 20s and the only ever focus is on the f***ing beckham situation. It felt injust [unjust] that my life was pretty hell and his career and his life kept blossoming. That didn't feel quite right, still doesn't. I think I've taken most of the blame for what happened, rightly so it was part of my life. We were two. He was older of me and he was my boss." She adds: "You can't change the things that happened is my attitude. I roll my sleeves and get on with it. Everything I have experienced has brought me to where I am today. It's made me a little bit stronger." Why is Rebecca Loos speaking out now? The Netflix documentary Beckham seems to be the driving factor behind her speaking out on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. She says: "When the Beckham documentary [Netflix's Beckham] came out, I was taken completely by surprise. Him trying to portray an image of perfection that was nothing like reality… "The way our relationship was spoken about and the fact that no responsibility for his actions was reignited. It was like reliving 2004 all over again except this time we have the added dynamic of social media." What have the Beckhams said? In 2023, the Beckhams spoke about the scandal on their Netflix docuseries. They have always denied the affair. Speaking openly about it for the first time, they shared the "hurt" and the impact the headlines had on their marriage. Mrs Beckham said: "It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us. Here's the thing — we were against each other if I'm being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. "But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either. And that's sad. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare. It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town right? Unless you're in it." Her husband added: "Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult. But we're fighters, and at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family, but it was worth fighting for. Ultimately it is our private life." Yahoo UK has reached out to David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's representatives for further comment. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will return to our screens on Channel 4 at 9pm on August 3.

GH Spoilers August 4: Anna and Obrecht Reunite, Chase and Gio Talk

Key Takeaways: Anna and Liesl Obrecht encounter one another, with their history and Britt's disappearance potentially coming up. Chase runs into Gio and might try to convince him to give Brook Lynn a chance. Ric meets Molly for dinner, but keeps many secrets from her, including how her sister tampered with his car. Ava makes a proposal, likely to Alexis, which may be related to the Cassadine trust and Kristina's scheme. In addition to Anna encountering Obrecht, General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4, 2025, will also focus on Chase running into Gio and Ava making a proposal. Next on General Hospital Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) recently gave Anna (Finola Hughes) a heads-up that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was back in town. The doctor returned to connect with Rocco (Finn Carr), who needed to know about Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). She was more than happy to share stories and information about his birth. When Anna encounters Obrecht on Monday, how will their reunion go? Their history is complicated, but they're mostly in a better place. They both went raging a few years ago, after all. However, Anna knows what Obrecht is capable of, so this interaction could go a hundred different ways. Anna also knows about Jason's gut feeling that Britt is alive, so their conversation may veer that way. Meanwhile, in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Britt is somehow involved with Dalton's research, and she's injecting herself with mysterious concoctions. Personally, you can tell she's lonely. She doesn't have her mother by her side. What happens when Britt is suddenly taken aback? It's not too soon for Jason to catch up to her, right? READ THIS: Here's what else is happening next week on GH. Unexpected Conversation Meanwhile, Dante has been able to talk to Gio (Giovanni Mazza) a couple of times since the big reveal. Those interactions were unsuccessful but not disastrous. Brook Lynn, on the other hand, hasn't had much face time with her biological son. But the last time they were in the same vicinity, it didn't go well. Things could start looking up because Chase (Josh Swickard) is about to run into Gio. Faced with this sudden opportunity, Brook Lynn's hubby could start making a case for Gio to give Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) a chance. There's a lot that Ric knows that his daughter does not. Like how her sister cut the brakes on his car, resulting in the accident that sent him and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to the hospital. He's also blackmailing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) because of Kristina's bad choices. The father/daughter duo will probably have to stick to topics like the law and how Cody (Josh Kelly) isn't the man that Molly thought he was. What will happen when the ADA finds out that everybody in her life is lying to her? WATCH THIS: SoapHub Says spills the hottest soap tea! Finally, Ava (Maura West) makes a proposal. At Drew's (Cameron Mathison) and Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) doomed wedding, Ava warned Alexis that she needed to talk to her. So, this proposal has to be about that. Ava may be playing into Kristina's hands if this is about striking a separate deal with Alexis regarding the money she has been embezzling from the Cassadine trust. This could be a move that tells Alexis and Kristina (Kate Mansi) that Kristina's plan is working. Solve the daily Crossword

Parent Trap star open to a reboot — under one condition

The Parent Trap star Lisa Ann Walter is fully on board for a reboot of the hit 1998 film — as long as the writer stays the same. 'One hundred percent if Nancy Meyers wrote it,' Walter said at a recent Abbott Elementary event. Meyers co-wrote The Parent Trap, which also marked her feature film directorial debut. She, of course, went on to write some of the biggest rom-coms in history, including Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, and It's Complicated. The Parent Trap not only launched her career as a director but also established her signature cozy, aspirational aesthetic Speaking further to her idea of a reboot, Walter, who played housekeeper Chessy in the hit 1998 film, said she would want fellow stars Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid involved, too. 'Dennis [Quaid] has said that he doesn't think it's doable without Natasha, and I understand that,' Walter said of British actor Richardson, who died in 2009 at age 45 after a ski accident. 'The movie — it's a kids' story, but it's a love story. So to have a love story that involves that grief, that sadness — if it was written beautifully, maybe it's doable.' The film, which was a remake of the 1961 original, catapulted Lohan to fame as she portrayed twins Hallie and Annie James, who were separated by their parents shortly after birth. The twins, who were living across the pond from one another, connect on a whim at a summer camp their respective parents sent them to. Quaid starred as the twins' father, Nick Parker, while Richardson played their mother, Elizabeth James. Elaine Hendrix played Quaid's new love interest, Meredith Blake, and remains close with Walter, who told People the two 'talk literally every day.' Walter also keeps in touch with her other castmates, including Lohan. 'Lindsay will DM me on Instagram,' Walter shared. 'I text her father here and there — like, 'Lindsay wanted me to tell you so and so,'' she continued. During the pandemic, Walter even found herself delivering homemade meals to Quaid's house, not unlike Chessy would do for Nick Parker in the film. 'I was cooking for everybody I knew,' she told People. 'I made big pans of food and had them delivered to his house because he had his kids over there.' Walter has since gone on to star in the films Bruce Almighty and Shall We Dance? and has been a cast member on the acclaimed series Abbott Elementary since 2021. Solve the daily Crossword
