Spider-Man 4 Set Video Shows The Punisher's Vehicle of Choice

Yahoo12 hours ago
A new set video is out, and shows off what The Punisher will be driving around in the upcoming MCU movie.
What happens in the Spider-Man 4 set video?
The new set video comes from an action scene that is set to be filmed this week, and according to insider Daniel Richtman, will see Spider-Man and The Punisher fighting over a DODC transport convoy. The DODC, in Marvel Comics, stands for the United States Department of Damage Control, a subsidiary of S.H.I.E.L.D. that deals with enhanced battles.
In the video, a large militarized truck can be seen being rolled onto the street from a tow truck. The scene itself comes from footage taken by Scottish fans, as Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently filming in Glasgow.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie will once again be led by Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Emmy winner Zendaya and Jacob Batalo are also expected to return for the sequel.
They will be joined by recently announced new cast members Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), with Jon Bernthal set to make his movie debut as Frank Castle/Punisher. The latter recently played the anti-hero again in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O'Connor, and Avi Arad.
Spider-Man 4 will be released in United States theaters on July 31, 2026 ahead of Avengers: Doomsday (December 18, 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (December 17, 2027), following Doomsday's delay.

YAHOO POLL: Has Fantastic Four revived the MCU for you?

The Fantastic Four: The First Steps had its world premiere on Monday (21 July) night and the first reactions to the film were generally positive. The film was under immense pressure and expectations, no doubt due to its troubled cinematic history. Its first iteration under 20th Century Fox in 2005 was a flop. A reboot in 2015, also under 20th Century Fox, reimagined Marvel's First Family as a dark, gritty comic book film but it didn't fare better either. However, Marvel can finally breathe a sigh of relief as, despite a steep drop at the box office in its second weekend, the film is sitting well with critics. If anything, the fact that it retained the top position in the second weekend is a testament to the strength of the film. Fantastic Four has garnered an 86 per cent rating with critics and a 92 per cent rating with audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. If it matters, Fantastic Four scored higher than James Gunn's Superman – which was released earlier in July. So, we want to hear from you – Has Fantastic Four revived the MCU for you? Tom Holland's new Spider-Man suit has been partially revealed ahead of Brand New Day, and the first look is giving us Sam Raimi vibes

Spider-Man's new suit in Brand New Day has been teased in a new promo, and it appears Tom Holland's Spidey might have been taking some design tips from Tobey Maguire's webhead during the events of No Way Home... As you can see below, Sony has offered the briefest of glimpses at the new Spider-Man suit. While it's deliberately obscured and vague, there's plenty to get attached to, not least of all the shiny red colorway and the raised webbing, one that instantly calls to mind Sam Raimi's 2000s trilogy of Spider-Man films. Tom Holland will seemingly don that suit in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, and Jon Bernthal. It's not yet known, though, if he will keep the pitch-perfect costume that was shown during the No Way Home ending. The first look at the suit may have come from an official source but, on the more unofficial end of the spectrum, a recent series of set photos may have confirmed that Mister Negative will be prowling the streets of New York as Brand New Day's Big Bad. The villain made his name as the foil for Spidey in Insomniac's series of PlayStation titles. Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits cinemas on July 31, 2026 as part of Marvel Phase 6. Spider-Man: Brand New Day leaks are here already as filming begins – and they might have just confirmed Mister Negative as the film's villain

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It's been filming for mere hours, but major leaks have already emerged from the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. As spotted by one bystander on the streets of Glasgow, a heavy-duty armored truck was getting wheeled into position for a sequence in the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie. Look a little closer, however, and you'll see a red demon mark on its side. If you've played Insomniac's Spider-Man games, you might notice how closely that resembles the logo of the Inner Demons, led by a certain Mister Negative. It's something that has quickly sent fans into overdrive, too. It's worth tempering expectations just for now, however. As of writing, the villain for Spider-Man: Brand New Day hasn't been confirmed, nor have we had any announcement regarding which actor – if any – will be playing Mister Negative. A recent glimpse behind the scenes also hinted at D-list villains forming part of the film's rogues' gallery. First debuting in a Free Comic Book Day issue of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2007, Mister Negative (alias Martin Li) is often depicted as a ruthless gunrunner and crime lord who can utilize the power of the Darkforce to control minds, manipulate energy, and be imbued with superstrength. Notably, he worked to create the Devil's Breath, an immensely powerful bioweapon, and is perhaps best known for his appearances in Insomniac's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 games. Spider-Man: Brand New Day once again stars Tom Holland as the titular wallcrawler. He is joined by series mainstays Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, as well as Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, who reprises his role as The Punisher after entering the MCU as part of Daredevil: Born Again. Brand New Day also appears to be set before Avengers: Doomsday. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will swing into cinemas on July 31, 2026.
