David Beckham recovering from injury in hospital, Victoria Beckham shares
(NewsNation) — Former star soccer player David Beckham is recovering in the hospital from an apparent injury, his wife announced.
Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girls member, posted a photo of her husband on her Instagram story on Friday, with the caption, 'Get well soon daddy.' The photo shows David Beckham with his right arm in a blue sling while he lies in a hospital bed.

She also posted another photo of a bracelet that spells out, 'Get well soon.'
The Beckhams share four children together: 26-year-old Brooklyn, 22-year-old Romeo, 20-year-old Cruz and 13-year-old Harper.
It has not been announced why Beckham, who is a co-owner of Inter Miami CF, had to be hospitalized. But his injury comes after he recently posted about his family on Father's Day.
'Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father. There is no greater gift in life than making me a dad. Happy Father's Day. I love you kiddies more than you could imagine,' Beckham wrote.
There have been rumors recently that their oldest, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, have decided to go no-contact with his parents. But a source told E! News that the rumor is 'another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth.
Despite this, Brooklyn Beckham and his wife reportedly hired a new lawyer recently, with an E! News source saying, 'It's not for reputation management, but to set the record straight, combat spread of misinformation.'
NewsNation's Paula Froelich recently reported that the couple missed David Beckham's 50th birthday party and other family get-togethers in the past few years. Then, after missing that birthday party, the couple allegedly met up with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for a dinner party in Montecito.
A source with The Sun said, 'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both… Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.'

The source also claimed that Markle and Nicola Peltz Beckham bonded because they have both been accused of 'wrecking their husbands' families.'
'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both,' the source allegedly revealed.

A 2022 Book Claimed That Anna Wintour Could Have Left ‘Vogue' to Become An Ambassador if Hillary Clinton Won the Election
If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission. Celebrated editor Anna Wintour announced this week that she is stepping down from Vogue (for real this time). However, a 2022 biography claimed that the iconic fashion editor may have considered leaving once before. Titled Anna: The Biography, the 456-page unauthorized book — published without Wintour's involvement but citing sources such as close friends and colleagues — suggests that there was a time when she could have traded it all for a cushy job in the UK. It continues: 'While Clinton thought Anna would have been a great ambassador, and nominating her was a possibility, she hadn't begun a formal process for filling those positions, an advisor said. It was unclear to both the campaign and Anna's boss that she had serious interest in it.' Wintour has never been shy about her support for Clinton, even profiling the First Lady six times in Vogue. In 2016, Wintour led Vogue to make its first-ever political endorsement in the magazine's 124-year history, supporting Clinton's campaign. The decision drew significant backlash from media outlets and members of Wintour's inner circle. But, in true Anna fashion, she has always done things her own way, something that has been evident from the start of her career. $19.68 $22.49 12% off Buy Now On Amazon $29.99 Buy Now on barnes & noble Wintour joined Vogue in 1988 and made an impact almost immediately. Her debut cover, the November issue of that year, featured a model wearing a designer jacket and jeans. Jeans. A look never before seen on the cover of the glossy magazine, which had traditionally showcased more formal wear. This marked the beginning of Wintour's signature approach: blending high and low fashion in Vogue's pages, a bold move that earned both praise and criticism from industry peers. Throughout her career, Wintour stayed true to her vision and was widely regarded as a fearless leader.
