Abbey Clancy was left 'irritated' by husband Peter Crouch after he tried to shake-up their marriage. The model and former England footballer have been married for more than 14 years now.
But Peter says his wife often complains that their marriage lacks 'spontaneity'. It prompted former Liverpool star Peter to plan a surprise date night recently.
However former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Abbey, 39, was left bemused by one thing her husband did after planning the romantic night out. She made the revelation after a listener on their The Therapy Crouch podcast said she 'doesn't have time' to glam up after having a baby.
Abbey said: 'When you've had a baby your body's not the same, it takes time to feel normal, I feel you lose a bit of your identity and think you should be dressing a bit more mumsie when you shouldn't.'
The listener said they felt as though they had 'lost themselves' after becoming a parent. Abby responded: 'I feel the same, it's like when you were taking me on a surprise date the other day, and Pete was like, 'I envision you in something floral'.

'I was like, 'What the f***, I literally wear black…' A short floral, flowy dress. I don't wear dresses, do I?'
Pete explained that he was 'thinking of' Abbey with his suggestion because he feared she would be 'too hot' in something black. He added: 'It was really hot and I didn't want you to be too hot.
'I wanted something thin and flowy. I was thinking of you, I didn't want you to wear jeans, even shorts….I thought you'd want something loose, flowy.'
Abby however said that 'irritated the hell' out of her. Former Liverpool striker Pete said: 'I've never seen anyone get so angry about a surprise I was trying to do for her.'
Abbey and Peter tied the knot in 2011

Peter and Abbey met in Liverpool in 2005. Recalling how they met during an interview on Good Morning Britain, Abbey said: 'When we first met, he begged me for my number and then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I was like, 'How dare you?''
Peter went on to say he was 'just talking' to the other girl but Abbey asked for her number back. He added: 'I said, 'You can't give someone your number and then take it back'.'
Despite the initial bump in the road, their relationship blossomed and the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2011. According to OK! , the family live in a 'magical' Surrey mansion complete with its own cinema room and a huge garden.

The sprawling mansion regularly features on Abbey's social media feeds. Fans have seen glimpses of Peter working at his large wooden desk, complete with football trophy, as well as enjoying the property's outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area.
They are said to have moved into the stunning property in 2016.

Strictly Come Dancing star 'signs up to I'm A Celebrity All Stars' as ITV prepare to jet celebrities to South Africa for series two
Seann Walsh is reportedly gearing up to go back on I'm A Me Out Of Here! All Stars version. The comedian, 39, hit headlines during his 2018 stint in Strictly Come Dancing when he was caught kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones on his then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries' birthday. Seann originally jetted off to Australia for the ITV show in 2022 in the hope of 'redeeming himself' following the Strictly scandal four years prior. And during his time in the jungle Seann was popular with his campmates and viewers finishing in a respectable fifth place. Now the TV star is reportedly in advance talks with ITV about signing on the dotted line for the second series of the All Stars spin-off, which is due to be filmed in South Africa this year. A TV insider has told The Sun: 'When he went into the jungle in 2022 he very much did it in the hope of redeeming himself in the eyes of the viewing public. 'Which was no mean feat given he'd been branded an aggressive gaslighter as a result of his fling with Katya and his treatment of his girlfriend. 'Yet he managed to emerge as one of the more popular campmates and actually finished in a respectable fifth place in the contest. 'Part of the reason why he came across comparatively well was because he went into I'm A Celebrity with an even bigger love rat. 'His entry into the camp was alongside former Health Secretary Matt Hancock who was at the centre of an exclusive in The Sun revealing he had had an affair with a political adviser Gina Coladangelo in 2021.' MailOnline has contacted I'm A Celebrity and Seann's representatives for comment. The first All Stars series of the show aired in 2023, and brought back former campmates Myleene Klass, who finished in first place, as well as Helen Flanagan, Jordan Banjo, Shaun Ryder, Phil Tufnell and Carol Vorderman. It comes after Seann welcomed his second child, a son Casper with partner Grace Adderley earlier this year after keeping his partner's pregnancy a secret. Revealing the shock baby arrival, he posted a picture on his Instagram story of his daughter Wylda, two, who he shares with Grace. Alongside the picture of the little one with what looks like yoghurt on her head, he quipped: 'My first five minutes being left alone with Wylda and our newborn Casper. S*** just got real.' He then posted another picture, this time holding baby Casper, with Wylda sat in a high chair as the family ate lunch on a bench outside. Seann jokingly wrote: 'Gonna need a bigger boat'. Their baby news no doubt came as a surprise to fans as Seann and Grace never shared the news they were expecting. Seann first became a father in February 2023 after the couple welcomed daughter Wylda, and shared the happy news to Instagram. Taking to his stories, he shared a clip of himself as he sat in the hospital after the birth, saying: 'Grace has had our baby and I'm sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department, and the staff have been great. 'The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me.' He then shared a post, which read: 'Oh btw. I passed out during the birth. Of course I did. The nurse's response... "Men." Fair.' The former Strictly Come Dancing revealed in October 2022 that he and his dance teacher girlfriend were having a baby. Speaking to a friend during an Instagram Live session at the time, Seann told a friend: 'I'm having a child.' Seann was then asked by the friend: 'So you're gonna be a dad?', before replying 'yeah' - with the unnamed man responding: 'That's worrying.' The funnyman then told his followers: 'Unbelievable. Everyone else has been really nice, that's the worst response yet.' Seann and Grace have been dating since 2019, but largely keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

Writer Jimmy McGovern praises ‘brave' BBC for airing child abuse drama
Writer Jimmy McGovern has said he doubted whether his new drama, which tells the story of a child abuser and how his family are impacted, would ever make it to air, but praised the 'brave' BBC for showing it. The Liverpool-born scriptwriter said he thought he 'had' to write Unforgivable to tell the story – based on an account he heard from a child psychologist – of a convicted sex offender who revealed details of his own abuse after being released from prison. He said that as he was writing it he doubted whether it would ever be aired. The 75-year-old told the PA news agency: 'I wanted to get it right, but the thing that bothered me most was, why am I doing this? Because I have a very strong feeling that the BBC will never do this, because it was not only condemning child abuse, it was trying to understand all the issues about child abuse, and that's not easy for people to take. 'I thought the BBC would say no, but they haven't said no. 'I know that they've been subject to attack at the moment, but it is an extraordinarily brave organisation at times, particularly over drama.' McGovern said as he wrote it he worried about backlash 'more over this particular project than any other' from people who may think it offered a sympathetic view of child abusers. He said: ' People are more than the crime they have committed, aren't they? There is more to any criminal than the crime they committed. 'So, it's finding that within the child abuser that helps you tell the story. 'He is an interesting character. We do not make it easy for him at all. 'The crime of abuse is an appalling crime and should be punished as an appalling crime. We do not make it easy for for our abuser at all, but we do delve into aspects of his life.' The writer said he understood the public reaction to child abusers – having once driven around Liverpool's Sefton Park with a neighbour trying to find a man they believed had tried to touch their children. 'All we knew was the man who did it had blue running shorts on,' he said. 'We went, we toured around Sefton Park looking for a man, any man, in blue running shorts and we were going to kill him. Thank God we did not find such a man. 'I excuse myself by saying probably most men would have reacted that way.' McGovern said he always wanted actor Bobby Schofield, who appeared in the writer's prison series Time, to play the role of abuser Joe Mitchell. He said: 'He's tremendous in it. He doesn't curry favour at all. What he does do is he plays self-disgust really well and he is a man who hates himself.' The one-off TV film also sees McGovern working with Anna Friel and Anna Maxwell Martin, both of whom he has worked with before. 'It's great to give lines to actors like that, you know. You know they're going to be done well,' he said. For the first time, he worked with David Threlfall, who McGovern had admired since he had seen him as Frank Gallagher in Shameless. He said: 'I always saw that as King Lear, because he was just that man in the storm, almost, wasn't he? I think he's an incredible actor.' Unforgivable will air on BBC Two at 9pm on Thursday and will be available on BBC iPlayer from the same day.

Seann Walsh 'in talks for I'm A Celeb All Stars return' after Strictly romance scandal
I'm a Celebrity... South Africa, known as All Stars, is said to be returning and there's speculation that a former Strictly Come Dancing star is in talks with ITV to appear on it A former Strictly Come Dancing contestant is said to be in talks to appear on I'm A Celebrity spin-off All Stars. Seann Walsh was a campmate in the jungle almost three years ago, but he's now reportedly considering a return. Seann, 39, was a late arrival on I'm A Celebrity in 2022. He entered the jungle in Australia alongside former politician Matt Hancock, and they later joined the main camp. The comedian went on to place fifth on the ITV show that year. He had expressed hope that his stint on the show would change public opinion following a scandal during his time on Strictly four years prior. Seann had been photographed kissing his dance partner, Katya Jones, on a night out in 2018, despite both being in relationships with other people. They both apologised at the time for their behaviour. It's now reported that Seann is in "advanced talks" to appear on the second series of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa is often referred to as All Stars. The show, which launched in 2023, is due to be filmed in South Africa again later this year. A source told The Sun: "When [Seann] went into the jungle in 2022, he very much did it in the hope of redeeming himself in the eyes of the viewing public." They said: "He managed to emerge as one of the more popular campmates and actually finished in a respectable fifth place in the contest." They went on to mention him having entered camp with Matt, who had himself made headlines over an affair with his aide, Gina Coladangelo. Speaking about Seann, the source said: "Part of the reason why he came across comparatively well was because he went into I'm A Celebrity with an even bigger love rat." Seann, who had been in a relationship with actor Rebecca Humphries when the scandal broke during his time on Strictly in 2018, previously said that his current partner, Grace Adderley, had encouraged him to do I'm A Celebrity. He said that she was the "main reason" he was doing it. He said in 2022: "As you can imagine, I was very scared after the last time I was on a big show because the fallout was not something you would want to go back to. Grace talked me into doing it. She convinced me it was the wrong attitude to have, not doing it because I feared what people would think, but to do it because I would have a wonderful time." Seann, who has said that the impact of the Strictly scandal led to him experiencing panic attacks, acknowledged prior to his stint in the jungle that people had opinions on him already. Seann, who now has a daughter with Grace, said he was "hoping" viewers would see that he is "very different". The I'm A Celebrity spin-off, which features the return of former campmates, launched two years ago. Myleene Klass won the debut series, after being runner-up in 2006, with Jordan Banjo and Fatima Whitbread also in the final. It's rumoured that the show will be returning for a second series, which is reportedly due to be filmed in South Africa later this year. There has been speculation about the potential line-up recently prior to the report about Seann. Harry Redkna pp and Gemma Collins are rumoured to be returning for All Stars. Former football manager Harry won I'm A Celebrity back in 2018, whilst reality TV star Gemma appeared on the show in 2014 but quit after just a few days.
