RINGS TRUE The reason Kate Middleton has four rings & the meaning behind each jewel in her impressive £400k stack
PRINCESS Kate looked characteristically elegant as she attended Wimbledon this year - but it was her rings that got everyone talking.
The Princess of Wales, 43, wore a grand total of four rings on her wedding finger during her outings at the tennis championship.

As is usual, she wore her gold wedding band and her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring that used to belong to Princess Diana.
But she also wore a third ring: an eternity ring that has been in her collection for years.
Princess Kate finished off the stack with a gemstone eternity band that she has been wearing frequently over the past year.
Jewellery expert Ella Citron-Thompkins, jewellery expert from Diamonds Factory, said the total stack of four could be worth £400,000 in total.

They explained: "Kate Middleton's four-ring stack is estimated to be worth up to £400,000, with the majority of that value coming from her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
"Alongside it, she wears her Welsh gold wedding band, likely valued between £2,000 and £3,000, as well as the diamond eternity ring gifted to her after Prince George's birth, estimated at around £1,500. Completing the stack is a slim white diamond eternity band, thought to be worth approximately £1,000.
"While the combined cost is significant, much of the value lies in the emotional and historical meaning behind each piece.'
HIDDEN MEANING
The jewellery expert claims that the ring choice was likely to be strategic and thought out.

She told Fabulous: 'Princess of Wales's ring stack is extremely symbolic and carefully curated.
'Her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, once worn by Princess Diana, is naturally the centrepiece, and she pairs it with her classic Welsh gold wedding band, a royal tradition since 1923.

'Adding a personal touch is her diamond eternity ring, believed to be a gift marking Prince George's birth, and more recently, she's introduced a slim, modern, white diamond eternity band, and a Cartier sapphire-and-diamond eternity ring, potentially signifying a new chapter or milestone.'
Ella claimed that there could be a poignant reason why we've seen a shift in Kate's jewellery choices, following her preventative cancer treatment, and her announcing in January that she was in remission.

The jewellery expert explained: 'Instead of her full ring stack, it seems that at times the Princess opts to wear just her eternity bands.
'Following her recent treatment, it's clear that much has shifted in her life.
'Health challenges often bring a deeper appreciation for comfort and symbolism, especially in jewellery choices.
'It's understandable and admirable that she may want a more low-key approach for casual or everyday appearances.'

Meghan Markle shares cryptic post sending birthday love to her ‘ladies both near & far' as Queen Camilla turns 78
MEGHAN Markle has posted about sending her As Ever wine as a birthday present to her "ladies near and far". It comes as Queen Camilla celebrates her 78th birthday today. 5 Posting on her Instagram story, the Duchess of Sussex filmed a crate with three bottles of her new As Ever Rosé Credit: meghan/Instagram 5 Meghan and Camilla pictured together in 2022 Credit: Getty 5 Yesterday, a photo was released by the palace to mark Camilla's birthday Credit: PA Posting on her Instagram story, the Duchess of Sussex filmed a crate with three bottles of her new As Ever Rosé. "Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies", she wrote. It is unclear who she is sending the wine to. She posted the video on what would have been Wednesday in California, but early this morning in the UK. Yesterday, a photo was released by the palace to mark Camilla's birthday. In the photo by Chris Jackson, she is pictured smiling as she leans on a gate in a field at her private Wiltshire home. She is wearing gold drop earrings and a turquoise dress. The Queen was on duty on her birthday last year and she is expected to spend this year's celebration privately. This may be the latest round in "peace talks" between the Sussexes and the Royal Family. Although Prince Harry reportedly tried to paint Camilla as the "wicked stepmother", he and Meghan turned into the outcasts instead. It comes after a expert claimed Harry's "peace talks" with King Charles feels like it has Meghan's "game plan" all over them. The Duke of Sussex is said to have recently 'given his blessing' for the talks involving two of his team plus the King and Queen's director of communications. They spoke about potential ways to end their family conflict, though a proposal for Harry to make a royal return was not on the agenda. California-based Harry is next due to visit the UK in September for the annual WellChild events. It opens up the prospect of meeting his father for the first time in 18 months. In May Harry appeared to have torpedoed reconciliation efforts during a catastrophic and ill- advised interview with the BBC in which he moaned 'the King won't speak to me'. But photos published at the weekend showed the King and Queen's director of communications Tobyn Andreae with Meredith Maines, chief communications officer for Harry's charity Archewell, and its UK and Europe communications manager Liam Maguire. They met on the balcony of the members-only Royal Over-Seas League club a short walk from Buckingham Palace before continuing inside. It is understood the face-to-face meeting was held to discuss avoiding media clashes and conflicts around calendar dates. Discussions were not held about Prince Harry returning to a more formal royal role. A source claimed: 'The meeting was with Harry's blessing.' Buckingham Palace had also supported the proposals to 'open a channel of communication' — having agreed to them within the past two weeks, it has been claimed. But adding intrigue to the developments, Prince William's team were not involved in the London summit. There was no contact between Harry's team and one working for William and Kate — or any invitation for face-to-face meetings. In September Kate and William will be returning from their summer break with a string of major engagements. There have also been claims Harry will invite members of his estranged family to the Invictus Games when it is held in Birmingham in two years' time. But just two months ago Harry hit out at his father in a rant-filled BBC interview. It came barely hours after he lost a High Court case asking for taxpayer-funded gun cops despite not being a working royal. 5 It comes after a expert claimed Harry's "peace talks" with King Charles feels like it has Meghan's "game plan" all over them Credit: The Mega Agency
