Logitech takes aim at the iPad's Magic Keyboard with its new Flip Folio case
The Logitech Flip Folio is the brand's newest creation and comes in four different colors with compatibility for Apple's 11- and 13-inch tablets.
The real draw of the Flip Folio is the full-size Bluetooth keyboard that attaches magnetically to the back of the case when you're not using it. The keyboard has a compact design, but still offers full-size keys and is geared specifically for the iPad, with iPad OS function keys along the top.
It's like being able to stick a version of Logitech's Keys-to-Go 2 keyboard onto your iPad with you wherever you roam.
Although it's not backlit, the keyboard boasts a two-year battery life and can pair with multiple devices, letting you switch quickly between your iPad and up to two other devices (like your phone — whether Android or iOS), via the three colored keys at the top. The Flip Folio case itself also has a small little lip at the crease of the fold, so when the cover is tucked backwards, you can position your iPad in portrait mode and still have space on the lip to rest your phone next to it.
The case is made from a minimum of 37% certified post-consumer recycled plastic while Logitech says the aluminium in the design is produced using 'low-carbon processes'.

The Flip Folio is compatible with the 11-inch M4 and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro as well as the 11-inch M2 and M3 and 13-inch M2, M3 and 5th Gen iPad Air. Not all colors are available immediately and some are only in select regions.
The Graphite is the only shade available globally and launches today, while the 'Pale Grey' and 'Lilac' options are coming in September in selected regions.
Two more colors, "Black" and "Sand", are exclusive to North America. The former is launching in June with the latter also arriving in September.
The Flip Folio is priced at £179.99 for the 13-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air models and £159.99 for the 11-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air models. We are waiting for confirmation on a U.S. price and will update this article as soon as we receive it.

Jeff Williams, Apple's Chief Operating Officer, to Retire After 27 Years
Jeff Williams, Apple's chief operating officer and Tim Cook's longtime lieutenant, is retiring after spending two and a half decades turning the company into an operational machine, capable of making more than 200 million iPhones a year at low prices that allowed the company to rake in tremendous profits. 'He's helped to create one of the most respected global supply chains in the world; launched Apple Watch and overseen its development; architected Apple's health strategy; and led our world class team of designers with great wisdom, heart and dedication.' During his 27 years at Apple, Mr. Williams played a leading role in building the company's supply chain. He helped line up some of its most important and enduring suppliers, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, which makes Apple's cutting-edge chips, and Corning Inc., which makes iPhone glass. Apple COO Jeff Williams to step down later this month
Jeff Williams, Apple's chief operating officer, is stepping down from his role later this month, as announced by the company on Tuesday. Sabih Khan, who currently serves as the senior vice president of operations, has been appointed as the new COO. Williams has decided to step down in order to retire and hopes to 'spend more time with friends and family, including five grandchildren and counting,' he stated in the press release. Before his retirement later this year, Williams will continue to report to CEO Tim Cook and oversee the design team as well as the Apple Watch. Following Williams' retirement, Apple's design team will transition to reporting directly to Cook. Having worked at Apple for nearly three decades, Williams has played a significant role in introducing the iPod and iPhone programs, leading the development of the Apple Watch, and overseeing the design team, among other contributions. He will continue to oversee the company's design team, as well as managing health initiatives, until his departure. The design group will then report directly to Cook, Apple said. Williams has been the No. 2 to Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook for more than a decade, overseeing the company's supply chain and engineering for the Apple Watch. The executive also ran the company's health initiatives and AppleCare customer service. Williams has long been known as one of Apple's central decision-makers and his departure is one of the most significant in the company's history. Williams, now in his early 60s, joined the company in 1998 and took the COO job in 2015. He previously worked at International Business Machines Corp. starting in the 1980s. Khan, a 30-year veteran of Apple, joined the company's executive team as senior vice president of operations in 2019. He took over management of the supply chain at that time, including procurement and manufacturing. For years, Williams was considered a possible successor to Cook. But John Ternus, the company's current hardware chief, has emerged as a more likely replacement, Bloomberg News has reported. 'Clearly he wasn't destined to be the Tim Cook replacement,' said Bob Mansfield, the company's former chief of hardware engineering under both Cook and co-founder Steve Jobs. 'He's about the same age as Tim, so that wouldn't make much sense. The operations team at Apple is really going to miss Jeff.' Williams' other responsibilities will be divided up when he leaves the company at the end of this year, but the company didn't say whether the health and Apple Watch teams will remain with Khan or be relocated to other groups. 'Jeff's true legacy can be seen in the amazing team he's created and, while he'll be greatly missed, he leaves the work of the future in incredible hands,' Cook said in the statement. Mansfield added that Williams will be difficult to replace given that he 'had a lot of tentacles' and responsibilities across the company. The departure marks the second major exit from Apple's top ranks under Cook in the past year. Luca Maestri stepped down as chief financial officer at the end of last year. Most of Apple's top executives are around the same age, and a sweeping transition has long been expected by insiders.
