Kanthapuram's advice now enough to rule Kerala: Natesan
He said that Muslims will soon become the majority community in Kerala and that whatever law the govt brings, it will not be implemented unless it is cleared from Malappuram. Natesan was delivering the presidential speech at the leadership meet of the Kottayam unit of SNDP on Saturday.
"There are interventions in the Zumba classes plan and the change in school timings. Where is Kerala going? This is not secularism but it is dominance of religion.
When the constituencies in Hindu majority areas were reduced, four seats were added in Malappuram. The Muslim League is contesting more seats in Kerala. They will ask for more again in the next elections. They will ask for seats outside Malabar. The League is aiming for the chief minister's post," said Natesan.
He also alleged that the industrial sector is being dominated by Muslims while the education sector monopolized by the Christian community.
The Ezhavas are represented only in the MGNREGA scheme, Natesan said.
"If the Ezhavas stand together, they have the power to rule. They can decide who will rule Kerala. The Ezhavas should become a political force. No matter which party they join, they should gain representation. They should try to come to power in the areas where the Ezhavas have influence," he said.

Govt's move revives hopes of temple heritage circle in Old City
Hyderabad: The Telangana government's recent action has raised hopes for the restoration of a temple heritage circle in the historic Old City. The revenue, endowment, and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) have coordinated efforts to address the illegally encroached properties of the 2,000-year-old Prachina Gopala Krishna Kshetra, located in Misrigunj near Ghazi Banda in the Old City. This coordinated effort by government departments follows persistent demands from Temple Conservation Activist Yamuna Pathak, who is also the president of the Vishva Hindu Raksha Parishad National Women's Wing. Furthermore, The Hans India and hmtv have been emphasising the alarming condition of Hindu temples—essential components of the city's shared heritage—through a series of articles and episodes that highlight the neglect they have endured over the past 50 years. The story of the Prachina Gopala Krishna Kshetra temple is particularly poignant. It has become almost forgotten by the public. Pathak noted, 'I initiated this issue, and the shocking stories and details that emerged were eye-opening.' A series of stories, talks, debates, and discussions involving celebrities, former IAS and IPS officials, and experts in religion and spirituality have presented various perspectives on how the temple has lost its significance both in United Andhra Pradesh as well as ten years after the formation of Telangana. Pathak shared that multiple petitions and representations have been submitted to officials in the revenue, endowment, and civic bodies at both the local and state levels. People from the Old City, regardless of their religious backgrounds, have come forward to aid this mission. Some have shared their personal connections to the temple, while others relayed its significance during the Nizam's era. Some provided documentary evidence related to the temple and its assets about a legal battle that has been waged against manipulated documents claiming ownership over the temple properties. When a lack of coordination among the government departments persisted, Pathak resorted to a hunger strike in a democratic protest, broadcasting live on hmtv for nine uninterrupted hours. The Additional Commissioner of the Endowment Department, along with the Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and their staff, assured her that they would expedite the resolution of this issue. Respecting their assurances, she decided to call off her hunger strike. In the past, petitions were submitted to the GHMC commissioner requesting the removal of illegal structures, and appeals were made to the revenue officials for a decision regarding the status of the land. Court verdicts have been issued, ranging from the civil court to the State High Court, affirming that the encroached lands belong to the temple. Representations have also been submitted to the Additional Collector through the Prajavani platform and to the HYDRAA Commissioner to remove illegal structures, protect ancient temple properties, and ensure swift justice. Following these efforts, Yamuna Pathak organised a campaign to conduct a padayatra, going door-to-door to save the Prachina Gopala Krishna Kshetra. Thousands gathered to chant the Vishnu Sahasranama continuously, praying to Lord Krishna to free the temple properties from illegal encroachers. Many joined the campaign through social media, participating in the Vishnu Sahasranama Prayana. These combined efforts prompted the state government to take action against those illegally encroaching on temple land and constructing buildings on it. Officials launched a joint survey with police cooperation, alongside representatives from the temple endowment department, GHMC, and revenue officials. According to officials, the area of the temple located at Shri Prachina Gopala Krishna Mandir in Ghazi Banda, Hyderabad, is approximately 4,224 square yards, with municipality numbers 1341, 1344, 1345, and 1346. Reports indicate that one person has illegally constructed 73 square yards in house number 19-3-694/11, 100 square yards in house number 19-3-602/3/3, and 127 square yards in house number 19-3-602/3/3. Recently, two houses and two shops were seized by the GHMC, Revenue, and Endowment Department officials, with police assistance, due to the illegal constructions related to the temple properties at Shri Prachina Gopala Krishna Mandir.

Why should we beg for funds for our temples and Bonalu festival, asks Bandi Sanjay
Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, expressed his concerns regarding the treatment of Hindus in the state. The minister offered puja at Lal Darwaja during the Bonalu festival and asked, 'We pay taxes and bills and contribute to the government's treasury. Why are we in a situation where we must beg for our temples and Bonalu every year?' He announced that if the Telangana BJP comes to power, funds will be allocated for Bonalu and all Hindu festivals without needing to beg anyone to organise festivals that will make every Hindu proud. Bandi Sanjay called on the residents of Old City, who were displaced by terrorist attacks and violence, to return to their homes. 'I am appealing to all of you from Old City. I stand with you as a witness to Simha Vaahini Amma and the feet of Bhagya Lakshmi. Old City belongs to you. You need not be afraid. Return home; we will take responsibility for your protection. We will unite all Hindus as a vote bank and demonstrate the strength of our community,' he assured. During the Old City Bonala festival, Bandi Sanjay spent the day visiting various temples and participating in festivities. His route began with the Moosarambagh Pochamma Bonalu festival in the morning and stops at locations such as Akbar Bagh, Saidabad, Kurmaguda, Madannapet, Rakshapuram, Goulipura, and Akkannamadanna Haribowli temples. After visiting the Bhagyalakshmi Ammavari temple, he addressed thousands of devotees at the Lal Darwaja Simhawahi. He said that the tradition of offering Bonalu dates back 250 years when, during a plague outbreak, people prayed for relief, vowing to build a temple to the goddess and celebrate Bonalu. 'With the goddess' grace, the disease subsided, leading to the construction of the Mahankali temple in Secunderabad, where Bonal festivals are celebrated grandly. In 1908, following devastating floods in Hyderabad caused by the Musi River, prayers to the goddess also helped. Since then, it has become a tradition to celebrate the Bonala festival at Lal Darwaja,' he added. Sanjay Kumar said that the festival allows the celebration of all goddesses, including Bhagya Lakshmi, who is believed to protect Bhagyanagara. Every year, the Bonala festival is celebrated with great grandeur across the country, preserving our culture. No matter the changes through generations, the Bonala festival continues without interruption, and 'we offer Bonam to the goddesses as is our custom. I will continue to uphold Hindu traditions and work to protect this country and Hindu Dharma for my entire life.' Further, 'We owe our well-being to the grace of Goddess Simha Vahini and the compassion of Goddess Bhagya Lakshmi.' He recalled that he had successfully completed the Praja Sangrama Yatra with their blessings, spreading Hinduism throughout Telangana.

Will Army Chief Asim Munir Be Next President Of Pakistan? Decoding What His Moves Mean For India
Will Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir soon dislodge President Asif Ali Zardari? Is this the beginning of a soft coup or just another conspiracy theory? For a country that has been under military rule for half of its existence since 1947, talks of a military coup are not new. But when a Pakistani Army Chief gets to meet the US President even before the country's Prime Minister, or when a former Prime Minister says the Army Chief is out to kill him, the rumours in the corridors of power are too loud to be ignored. Welcome to Pakistan, where its newly christened Field Marshall, Army Chief Asim Munir, spent two hours having lunch with US President Donald Trump in the White House last month. Now, Munir is going on a tour to Sri Lanka and Indonesia to meet the top leadership there — sans his Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif. That's not all, Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan is lodged in Adiala Jail and says that if anything happens to him, Munir must be held accountable. Is General Asim Munir eyeing full power in Islamabad? Will he soon dislodge President Asif Ali Zardari and become the President? Is this the beginning of a soft coup or just another conspiracy theory? PM Sharif responded: 'There is no plan, no desire to be the President on part of Munir." But Sharif also knows there are precedents. Munir became Field Marshal recently — only the second time in history after Ayub Khan. Ayub, of course, went on to the become dictator-president. So, the talk in the region now is: Is Munir the next Ayub? Sharif's denial has only added more fuel to the fire. Why Asim Munir is powerful Munir has held every key post in Pakistan: DG ISI, DG Military Intelligence, Corps Commander, and now the Army Chief. Munir accompanied Pakistan PM Sharif on a string of high-level visits to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Iran, and Azerbaijan in May and June. But since then, his diplomacy tour is only about him. A Field Marshall portraying to all who really calls the shots in Pakistan. The Pakistani Military on July 10 issued a rare public statement on Munir's US trip, usually the domain of the country's foreign ministry. The rare and exclusive luncheon at the White House with President Donald Trump in the Cabinet Room and the Oval Room in June underlined why this was significant — the US also realises that Munir is the one it needs to deal with. The Pakistan PM, interestingly, is still to meet Trump. Earlier, during the height of Operation Sindoor, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Munir to stand down, not PM Sharif. India watching closely A military-dominated Pakistan under Munir is not going to be good news for New Delhi. India sees Munir as the brain behind the Pahalgam terror attack. India sees him as the one who propagates the two-nation theory, calls Kashmir Pakistan's 'jugular vein", and who underlines differences between Hindus and Muslims. Who, in short, is the face of Pakistan's state-sponsored terror, when it comes to India. So is there a coup? How long will the civilian facade last? It may not happen, but the military under Munir will dominate from behind the scenes – be it the elections, or foreign policy.
