Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage
Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage The former Love Island star is currently competing on the gruelling Channel 4 programme Laura Woods and Adam Collard (Image: INSTAGRAM) Reality TV star Adam Collard has spoken publicly for the first time about the heartbreak he and his fiancée Laura Woods endured after suffering a miscarriage. Collard revealed the couple lost their baby when Laura was 11 weeks pregnant, just weeks before she conceived again. In January 2025, the couple welcomed a baby boy, Leo. The 29-year-old, who rose to fame on Love Island and has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating, is currently taking on brutal physical and mental challenges in the upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which began on Sunday. In a deeply personal moment on the show, Collard reflects on the tragedy and admits he blamed himself at the time, believing it to be retribution for his behaviour on reality TV. 'I know it's a terrible way to look at it, but I felt like it was bad karma for me being on dating shows and upsetting too many people,' he says. 'I felt like that was some higher power's way of being like, 'Well, there you go, that's what you have to carry.'' Article continues below He added: 'I was just a cocky little p***k, being a love rat, jumping from girl to girl. I want to show I'm not that man any more.' Collard became known for his controversial stints on Love Island in both 2018 and 2022, where he was at the centre of several short-lived romances. His time on the show earned him a reputation for womanising — coupling up with four different contestants during his first appearance. He later dated Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott for seven months and, more recently, Welsh contestant Paige Thorne during his 2022 return to the villa. That relationship also ended quickly after the show, with Collard later admitting he 'used' Paige to prolong his stay in the competition. He also had a brief relationship with model Lottie Moss after they met on Celebs Go Dating, though that ended shortly after he was accused of cheating. Collard says meeting presenter Laura marked a turning point in his life. The pair began dating in October 2023 and quickly built a strong relationship, announcing they were expecting a child the following year. He described Laura as 'the one' and credited her support, alongside his experience on Celebrity SAS, as having a lasting impact on his mental health. Article continues below 'On a personal level, I wanted to test myself mentally,' he said. 'I had a lot of stuff going on before I went on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and I've got to be honest — but credit to the show — I actually think it had the most positive impact on my mental health.'

Calvin Harris welcomes first child with wife and radio presenter Vick Hope
The 41 year-old musician, best known for his hit songs One Kiss and Feel So Close, shared the news on social media that their son, Micah, was born on July 20. Harris posted a series of photographs on Instagram on Monday along with the caption: '20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!' He added: 'My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.' The comments section was flooded with congratulations from fans around the world as well as fellow musicians including Jade Thirlwall and Craig David. Some comments expressed surprise at the choice of photographs the DJ shared which included what appears to be the before and after shots of the placenta, the organ which forms in the womb during pregnancy, before it was steamed, dehydrated and ground into pills to be consumed. Consuming one's own placenta, known as placentophagia, remains a debated practice with some claiming it offers health benefits. Among the supporters was singer Becky Hill who posted in the comments: 'Love to see the placenta!! Amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life! Good job not wasting it either, that's some goddess magic right there!' Celebrities who have reportedly eaten their own placenta include reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, American singer and actress Mandy Moore, and Mad Men star January Jones. Hope, 35, is best known for presenting the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show Going Home. She reportedly married the Dumfries-born DJ in 2023. He is behind the hit number one songs Sweet Nothing, Summer, and Promises.

Kelly Osbourne shares emotional Ozzy tribute as she says 'she will not be ok for a while'
Kelly Osbourne has taken to Instagram to share a tribute to her father who passed away almost a fortnight ago on July 22. Kelly Osbourne has paid a moving tribute to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, almost two weeks on from the Black Sabbath star's death. The rock icon passed away at the age of 76 on July 22 with his loved ones announcing the heartbreaking news in a family statement, signed by Sharon Osbourne, Kelly, Jack, Aimee and Ozzy's son Louis from another marriage. The dad-of-six was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and his passing came just days after his final performance at Villa Park with his Black Sabbath bandmates. At the time of his death, he was "with his family and surrounded by love". Ozzy was laid to rest last week with Kelly paying tribute to her dad in a fresh statement today. It read: "I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough... but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. "The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain. "Grief is a strange thing—it sneaks up on you in waves-I will not be ok for a while-but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind. Thank you for being there. I love you all so much." She signed off with: "Kelly #BirminghamForeve #OzzyForever" Kelly, who is the youngest daughter of Sharon and Ozzy, uploaded the statement to her Instagram Story. Before the Prince of Darkness' passing, Kelly took to social media to firmly shut down any rumours that her dad was dying after an AI video of Ozzy saying he 'didn't have long left' was doing the rounds online. She fiercely rubbished the claims just days before Ozzy passed. On the same night at the heavy metal icon's final gig, Kelly's long term partner Sid Wilson popped the question in front of her parents with Ozzy getting to see his youngest daughter become engaged before his death. The rock legend was buried last week with thousands of fans visiting the Black Sabbath Bench on Broad Street in the musician's home city to lay bouquets, wreaths, posters, balloons, candles and cards. On Monday, Birmingham City Council began gathering up the tributes so they can be stored before being handed over to the heartbroken Osbourne family, who visited the bench on Wednesday to lay their own flowers during a cortege procession. The council assured the mementos would be gathered and preserved 'respectfully' in agreement with the rock star's relatives and then stored 'with the utmost care at a secure location, ensuring they are protected and treated with dignity'. The council said: 'In due course, they will be passed on to the Osbourne family, so they may keep them as a lasting reminder of the public's affection and support.' In a statement released through the city council, the Osbourne family said: 'We are deeply moved by the heartfelt tributes that have been placed at the Black Sabbath Bridge and at the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street in recent days. 'These expressions of remembrance reflect the profound impact that Ozzy had on the city and its people, as well as fans from around the world – BIRMINGHAM FOREVER!'
