ARN News Center28-04-2025
The UAE pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka welcomed its 250,000th visitor on Sunday, just over two weeks after officially opening its doors.
The guest and her family were presented with a commemorative certificate, specially selected gifts from the pavilion shop and a complimentary dining experience at the pavilion's Emirati restaurant.
'We are proud to welcome our 250,000th guest to the UAE pavilion,' said Shihab Al Faheem, Ambassador of UAE to Japan and Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
'This milestone reflects the pavilion's role as a platform for dialogue, discovery, and collaboration. We are honoured to share the UAE's story with the people of Japan and the world as we work together towards a flourishing future for all life, from Earth to Ether."
The milestone comes shortly after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, toured the pavilion's multisensory exhibition.

Built around the theme Earth to Ether, the pavilion offers a multisensory journey through the UAE's story, from its rich cultural roots to its innovations in space exploration, healthcare, and sustainability.
Drawing inspiration from the UAE's date palm tree, the pavilion's design reimagines traditional areesh architecture through an oasis of 90 soaring rachis columns, crafted using sustainable practices and Japanese woodworking expertise.
Inside the pavilion, guests embark on a journey that shares the UAE's national story, one of deep humanity and transformation rooted in enduring values. The journey culminates in 'Woven Legacies', a documentary installation that brings visitors face to face with contemporary life in the United Arab Emirates.
Since opening, the pavilion has witnessed strong and sustained guest interest, reflecting its growing reputation as one of the most engaging national pavilions across Expo 2025 Osaka.

Dubai Culture and Dubai Racing Club Partner to Celebrate Emirati Heritage at Dubai World Cup

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Racing Club (DRC) to promote Emirati heritage and strengthen cultural engagement at the Dubai World Cup. The partnership aims to infuse the globally celebrated sporting event with authentic cultural experiences that reflect the values and traditions of the UAE. The agreement, signed by Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, and Ali Abdulrahman Al Ali, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Racing Club, sets the foundation for joint initiatives that spotlight both tangible and intangible aspects of Emirati culture.
