Based on Durjoy Datta's bestselling novel
If the title sounds familiar, that's because this show is inspired by Durjoy Datta's hit book Now That You're Rich… Let's Fall In Love. The series throws us right into the chaotic world of four young professionals trying to make it big in Mumbai's ruthless venture capital scene. From Delhi to the Maximum City, the story follows Abhijeet Sharma, played by Mihir Ahuja, a top performer who's done everything by the book until the book starts rewriting itself.
Money, office politics and emotional mess – all under one roof
Abhijeet arrives in Mumbai full of dreams and ambition. But soon, he realises that life at the top VC firm 'Fusion Funds' isn't about who works the hardest, it's about who plays the game smartest. His colleagues, including the sharp-tongued and mysterious Garima (played by RJ Mahvash), are all navigating their own storms.
One party, one betrayal, and everything starts to crumble. Friendships turn fragile, mentors turn monsters, and the glossy world of corporate success reveals its cracks. As the pressure builds, Abhijeet finds himself spiralling into debt, doubt, and disillusionment. And standing at the edge of it all: a choice between love and money.
Internet sensation and radio favourite RJ Mahvash makes her acting debut in this series alongside Neil Bhoopalam, Ashish Raghav and Shivangi Khedkar. In the words of Amogh Dusad, Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, "Pyar, Paisa, Profit perfectly captures the pulse of a generation navigating the chaos of ambition, love, and survival in a hyper-competitive world."

Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey lead dark gangster comedy series, deets inside

Los Angeles [US], August 1 (ANI): Saurabh Shukla and Ranvir Shorey will be seen headlining dark gangster comedy series 'Bindiya Ke Bahubali'. On Friday, the trailer of the series was unveiled. It gave a sneak peek into the deadly dynamics within the Davan family. When Bada Davan, head of the family and Bindya's rising political force, is arrested just as he's about to launch his political career, it sparks a hilarious yet dangerous chain of events within the household. Seema Biswas, Sushant Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Sai Tamhankar, Tanishtha Chatterjee, Vineet Kumar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Aakash Dahiya will also be seen in key roles. Sharing insights about his character Bada Davan, Saurabh Shukla shared, "This series brilliantly captures the bizarre ways families function when power is at stake. Bada Davan is a man of contradictions. He's feared, respected, and often hilariously misunderstood by his own kin. What I love about Bindiya Ke Bahubali is that it never takes itself too seriously, yet has moments of real insight into human nature. It's mad, it's layered, and it was an absolute joy to bring this character to life on screen." Ranvir Shorey, who essays the role of Chhote Davan in the series, highlighted, "What makes Bindiya Ke Bahubali so exciting is the tightrope it walks between danger and absurdity. The writing is smart, the world is twisted, and every character has their own agenda. My character, Chhote, is stuck in a storm he thinks he can control, but the real battle is inside his own family. Stepping into his shoes allowed me to explore comedy in crisis, and I think audiences are in for a wild ride." The series will be out soon on Amazon MX Player. (ANI)

Suniel Shetty says star kids have to work harder today as 'everybody is a critic' now: 'It's critical bashing going on'

Suniel Shetty has been in the film industry for over three decades. Having begun as an action star, he found success as a villain too, and is now enjoying fame on streaming as well. In a conversation with HT while promoting the second season of his show, Hunter, the veteran star spoke about the change in times from when he started to now. Suniel Shetty with his children, actors Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty. Early in his career in the 90s, Suniel Shetty faced resistance for his unorthodox looks, with many saying he didn't 'look like' a hero. The actor agrees that outsiders - those who had no film background - often faced bigger pressures while starting out. However, he says that as compared to 30 years ago, star kids find it more difficult to succeed now. On star kids' struggles "The kids have to work harder to prove. Earlier, they took it for granted that I'd be a part of this. This is my hierarchy, and I'd be a part of this. Today, the kid knows to educate (themselves) and come prepared as an actor, with their acting, body, and everything else. You need to be absolutely prepared. Go to school and come; don't believe you can walk into high school and college without finishing the basics," says the actor. He says the reason star kids find it tougher is partially because of the competition, but also because of the scathing feedback that comes their way from the audience. "Everybody is judgmental. Everybody believes they are a critic. And it's not critical appreciation of cinema. It's critical trashing of cinema that's going on," he says. Athiya and Ahan Shetty's careers Both of Suniel Shetty's children - Athiya and Ahan - made their debut in films over the last few years. Athiya started her acting career with Hero in 2015, before appearing in three more films. She eventually retired from acting quietly after her last film - Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019) - did not work at the box office. Ahan debuted with Tadap in 2021, and currently has Border 2 and Sanki lined up for release next year. Suniel was most recently seen in the Amazon MXPlayer show Hunter. Season 2 also stars Jackie Shroff, Anusha Dandekar, and Barkha Bisht in lead roles.
