A Jeopardy! contestant confused Paige Bueckers for Caitlin Clark in epic gaffe
However, this contestant on Wednesday night's episode of Jeopardy! completely whiffed on identifying Bueckers during a description of her career at UConn.
The contestant in question heard a pretty clear description of Bueckers with a photo to support it from host Ken Jennings, only to buzz in and guess that the prompt was describing Clark.
Yes, this Jeopardy! contestant confused Bueckers for Clark.
It's not that the contestant got the question wrong; it's that the contestant knew who Clark was and still guessed her after hearing a description and seeing a photo of Bueckers. Consider us pretty baffled.
Well, maybe this Jeopardy! contestant will brush up on his WNBA superstars before competing on the show again.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — WNBA players and league officials met Thursday before the start of the All-Star weekend festivities for discussions on a new collective bargaining agreement. All-Stars Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese were among about 40 players who took part in the first face-to-face meeting featuring players since December. Players opted out of the current CBA last October and are seeking a better revenue sharing model, increased salaries, improved benefits, and a softer salary cap. The sides are far apart in preliminary discussions and agreed to another meeting this weekend. ___ AP WNBA:
