Lefties Losing It: Aussie Insta influencer encourages ‘incels' to kill Trump

Sky News AU12 hours ago
Sky News host Rita Panahi slams Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's 'lack of judgment' for his 90-minute interview with Instagram influencer Abbie Chatfield earlier this year.
Ms Panahi claims Ms Chatfield's latest encouragement to Americans to assassinate US President Donald Trump was 'not just deranged, it's evil'.
'The PM should disavow those comments, you can be sure that the Canberra press gallery would've demanded an explanation if a conservative politician had granted a lengthy interview to a podcaster who made vile comments like that,' Ms Panahi said.
'Anthony Albanese, he can't claim ignorance as a defence because Abbie Chatfield's extreme positions have long been clear, including her attitude towards the Jewish community.
'The prime minister should reflect on why he thought it was a good idea to bolster such a character, particularly at a time when the Jewish community is facing an unprecedented wave of antisemitism and anti-Israel hostility.'

‘What's justified and what's not': Dissecting Middle East conflict and pro-Palestine protests

On tonight's episode of Paul Murray Live, Sky News host Paul Murray discusses the Supreme Court ruling which gave the green light on the Sydney Harbour Bridge protests, escalating Middle East conflicts, and more. 'We look at this in multiple angles, we look at this in multiple ways, about what is justified, what's not justified, what's too much, what is not enough,' Mr Murray said. 'The process worth talking about tonight is not just the process itself … but I want to get back to the central idea which is if the elected premier of your state says an event should not happen, should it happen or not happen? When the police say the event should not happen … the courts end up having, in this case, the final say.'

Anti-Israel Sydney Harbour Bridge protest calls for death of Israeli soldiers

Sky News host James Macpherson discusses the anti-Israel Sydney Harbour Bridge protest, which had approximately 90,000 participants. 'Sydney Harbour Bridge was shut down today as 90,000 anti-Israel protesters marched for humanity,' Mr Macpherson said. 'Who knew marching for humanity meant calling for the death of Israeli soldiers or waving Hamas flags, Taliban flags and images of the supreme leader of Iran.'
