Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon would have chosen Esnyr and AZ Martinez, respectively, as their alternative final duos should they not have been able to select each other.
The pair said this on Tuesday's episode of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' during their 'Duo Duelos' question-and-answer portion hosted by Boy Abunda.
'My second choice, if I wasn't able to pick Will, it would've been AZ. AZ was someone that I really enjoyed my time as a duo with. She showed her potentials in being smart. Grabe 'yung critical thinking niya, 'yung problem-solving niya,' Ralph said.
Beyond her intelligence, Ralph also valued AZ's unwavering support.
'Grabe din siya mag-support. She's been there through everything. She's been a constant here in my stay and for those reasons, I would really pick her if I didn't pick Will,' Ralph said.
Similarly, Will revealed his alternative duo choice, who is Esnyr.
'Ako, kung susundin ko din 'yung ranking ng lahat ng mga naka-duo ko, pipiliin kong maging final duo, siyempre, si Esnyr. Kasi nakita ko 'yung aming naging connection din no'ng naging magka-duo kami," he said.
"At nakita ko kung gaano niya kagusto ipaglaban ito at isa 'yon sa naging reason kung bakit nagkaroon din ng fire sa katawan ko para ipaglaban kung nasaan ako ngayon, which is maging parte ng Big Four,' he added.

Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose on Wednesday celebrated five years together. The couple went to Tagaytay, where they enjoyed an outdoors meal to mark the milestone. The Olympic champ thanked God for His gift of "anghel na nagsilbing gabay para matuto, maging mabuti, magmahal at higit sa lahat mas mapalapit SAYO." "Aalagaan, mamahalin at poprotektahan ko po ang lahat ng ito. Grateful and thankful po ako sa mga challenges and blessings na binibigay nyo po para mas patatagin at mas mahalin pa namin ng husto ang isa't isa," he added. To Chloe, he said, "Muli, maligayang anibersaryo sa atin mahal ko. Mahal na mahal kita." Chloe also wrote a romantic message to Carlos on her Instagram. She said that time flew fast, and described their five years together as "half a decade of love, laughter, lessons, and leaning on each other." She added that she's proud of them because they've been through so much and grown so much. "Happiest 5th anniversary, dada!! Here's to more years of choosing each other: on the good and hard days, more memories and random "let's book a flight" moments and everything in between," she said. "My heart is forever yours, my baby. I love you, eternally and always." Carlos and Chloe have been together since 2020. Carlos made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning two gold medals from the floor exercise and vault events in men's gymnastics. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
