AMY Hart has opened up about the brutal trolling she faced after Love Island, revealing she was so crushed by cruel comments she couldn't bring herself to watch her own series back.
The reality star, 32, who rose to fame on the 2019 summer edition of Love Island, made the emotional confession during an appearance on Fabulous's brand new podcast, No Parental Guidance.

Amy Hart was supposed to have her fairytale. A summer of sun, romance and bikinis in the Love Island villa.
But when she walked out of the series heartbroken, what came next blindsided her and it wasn't just Curtis Pritchard's brutal U-turn.

The star said she's only just now starting to feel ready to revisit the show that made her a household name.
'I think I'm actually close to watching it back,' she said.
'I reckon I'm probably about two years away from watching it.'
Amy shot to fame as the hopeless romantic who entered the villa genuinely looking for love and famously left the show heartbroken after being dumped by Curtis Pritchard.
But it wasn't just heartbreak she was dealing with when she came out, it was a flood of personal attacks that left lasting scars.

'When I came out, everyone was like, 'ugliest Islander ever, you're the fat one, you're this, you're that,'' Amy recalled.
'Anyway, the other day on my Facebook memories, Casa Amor had obviously started that night, and my best friend who ran my socials had done a collage of all different pictures of us before we went in.'

She continued: 'I've never seen any of those pictures before, so I was zooming in and I was like, 'Oh my God, I want to look like that again.'
"I looked amazing. I was like, 'I just want to look like that.''
Amy explained she hasn't watched the series back because of how painful it felt at the time, not due to lingering feelings about her ex, but the emotional toll the public backlash had on her.
'It's not about anyone else, I just felt like it would upset me a lot,' she said.
Now a mum to toddler Stanley and happily settled down with her partner Sam, Amy says she's in a much stronger place.

Looking back at old pictures, she's finally able to appreciate how good she looked at the time, despite the criticism.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Amy showed her sharp wit and honest humour hasn't dulled since her villa days.
She dished on the chaos of parenting life, shared hilarious tales about hangovers, toddler tantrums, and birthday party disasters, and revealed how her little boy is already a dab hand with a beauty blender.

'I get very excited about things, so I tell him everything and talk to him about everything,' she said with a laugh.
The Love Island alum, who now co-hosts the official Love Island podcast, admitted she juggles glam work life with the whirlwind of motherhood, complete with soft play, sleepless nights, and toddler meltdowns.
And while she jokes about the 'slug's eye' effect of losing interest in sex post-baby, Amy's refreshingly candid take on parenting has earned her a new legion of fans – this time, mums who feel seen, not judged.

'People want us to hate each other,' she added of her relationship with ex Curtis.
'But we get on so well. He is actually my best interview always because I know how far I can wind him up."
Amy said she had met Curtis in a nightclub after Love Island and the couple were able to talk through things for over an hour.
She added: "I wish him well... but then when you think it was like literally five weeks".
"And now I've got an amazing husband and a little boy and stuff."

Barrage of hate
Back in 2019, the former air stewardess told an inquiry into influencer culture that she receives a barrage of abuse and death threats from people as young as 13 years old after appearing on the reality show.
Amy said she doesn't believe sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram were supportive enough when it came to trolling.
Appearing in front of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee today, the former Islander recounted the abuse she was regularly receiving online.
She said: "Look at this barrage of messages someone has sent me before 7 o'clock in the morning telling me how much they hate me, how awful I am, why everyone hates me, how ugly I am."
Amy said she was getting trolled by people who said they are nurses and "people that have got husbands and children" and one death threat had been traced back to a 13-year-old.

Walking Dead star makes UK TV return after a decade and fans are beside themselves

Andrew Lincoln best known for his role as Rick Grimes in the hit show The Walking Dead is returning to UK TV for the first time in over a decade as she stars in ITV's latest series Coldwater ITV has revealed the first glimpse of its upcoming thriller, Coldwater, which is set to premiere this autumn. The six-part series, which is set in Scotland, will see The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln star in his first UK TV show in over a decade. ‌ The series, written and produced by David Ireland, was filmed in Glasgow and is set in the fictional Scottish village of Coldwater. Filming for the show took place in July 2024 around Glasgow in the areas of Dennison and the city centre, as well as in Strathaven and Dunlop. ‌ While Doctor Who director Lee Haven Jones directs the first three episodes, Andrew Cumming, best known for directing Shetland, directs the second half of the series. And it's predicted to be one not to miss. ‌ The series follows Lincoln's character John, a repressed man who grows frustrated with his mundane existence as a stay at home dad. After witnessing a violent confrontation in a local playground, which he fails to intervene, John relocates his whole family from London as far as possible, up to the rural idyll of Coldwater. ‌ Amidst his mid-life crisis, John quickly befriends his mysterious next door neighbour Tommy, played by Ewen Bremner. A friendly, charming man who is well loved in Coldwater, he is a pillar of the community and self appointed leader of the village's all-male book group. Tommy is also married to the local vicar Rebecca, played by Eve Myles. ‌ Whilst John is totally fascinated by Tommy, his wife Fiona (Indira Varma) is completely unsettled by him. As Fiona strives to reignite the spark back into their fading marriage, she is wary of John and Tommy's bond, as it is increasingly becoming intense. Fiona's suspicions are correct, when John's long-repressed rage comes to head with disastrous results and he soon finds himself unexpectedly indebted to his new friend, unaware that Tommy himself is harbouring horrifying secrets. As Tommy's mask starts to slip, his shock secrets come to the surface and John begins to wonder who the real Tommy actually is. ‌ The official synopsis reads: "This is the story of a normal man, in a normal marriage, who finds himself in a far from normal situation. A man who discovers a newfound sense of his own power, right at the moment he falls under the influence of someone incredibly dangerous." The series is already gathering hype online with fans taking to various social media platforms to discuss the show, in particular Lincoln's role. ‌ Taking to Facebook, one excited viewer commented: "Andy Lincoln, thriller series and Scotland…all my dreams have come true." As another plead: "Coming this Autumn?? Can we not have it earlier please!!!" A third fan couldn't hide their joy of seeing Lincoln back on screen, saying: "Fabulous news, he's a great actor, miss not seeing him on anything. I'm so excited." Other fans were eager to see Scotland on their TV screens, as one expressed: "Looking forward to seeing this, some of the Church scenes were filmed in Dunlop Church." Coldwater will air on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV player this autumn.

Oasis death: Tragic post from Lee Claydon's brother before fatal fall at Wembley

Tributes have been paid for Oasis fan Lee Claydon, who sadly died following a fall at the band's gig on Saturday night. His brother Aaron said his family are 'devastated' A heartbreaking Facebook post reveals the excitement a family of Oasis fans felt before one of them tragically died in a fall at the band's gig on Saturday night. ‌ Aaron Claydon, brother of beloved dad Lee Claydon, said 'today is gonna be the day', a reference to the Oasis smash-hit 'Wonderwall'. He tagged his brother and other family members in the post. ‌ Lee Claydon, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene at Wembley Stadium on Saturday having suffered 'injuries consistent with a fall'. Since the incident, Aaron set up a GoFundMe page in honour of his brother and to help with financial support for his family. It comes after a man brutally kills a woman on first date and leave her body parts around town. ‌ In a touching tribute, Aaron said his brother was the person he 'always looked up to' and that their family has been 'turned upside down' by his death. The family including his partner Amanda is 'struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss", Aaron said ‌ He wrote: 'Lee leaves behind his Son, Dad, Partner , Brothers, Sisters, Nephews and Niece. Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all his family. 'Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon and we will miss him so very much. Lee loved all outdoor activities, one of his favourite hobbies was fishing. He also loved music and his guitar. He also really enjoyed going to watch and support the boys and his nephew at their football games. ‌ "Amanda and the boys have our full support at this very sad time which is why we would love to be able to help them financially as well as emotionally. Please help us raise as much funds as we can to take one worry off Amanda and family right now as they are going through any family's worst nightmare." Paying tribute to the dad on Facebook, his cousin Shannon Gabrielle said: "Honestly don't even know what words to write right now. My cousin Lee tragically passed away this weekend after no doubt having the time of his life at the Oasis concert this weekend, most will have seen snippets in the news I'm sure & as you can imagine it has devastated the whole family and for his closest knit family unit it's the toughest time they are going through ever right now.' "Sharing his go fund me page, in the hope that any donations, big or small, will go a long way towards helping his partner Amanda & the boys throughout this awful period and costs of things. You just don't fathom you will go out for a night of amazing fun & not come home at the end of it." ‌ Oasis fans took to Facebook after the gig. The parent of one gig-goer said her teenage son "saw him falling" but was too far away to see him land. Another woman said the man fell into their block and described what happened 'awful'. Claire Collier wrote: "It happened about [five] mins before the end of the gig, it was awful... thinking of his family and friends and everyone that witnessed it." During the Sunday gig, Oasis dedicated Live Forever to 'all the people who can't be here tonight'. The touching moment came as the Manchester band brought to a close their first run of five gigs at the venue as part of their Live 25 tour. ‌ Addressing fans on Sunday night after finishing Whatever, singer Liam Gallagher said: 'This one's for all the people who can't be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren't they looking lovely. Live Forever.' A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said on Sunday: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.' A spokesperson for the stadium has since told the Mirror: 'Wembley Stadium operates to a very high health and safety standard, fully meeting legal requirements for the safety of spectators and staff, and is certified to and compliant with the ISO 45001 standard. We work very closely and collaboratively with all relevant event delivery stakeholders - including event owners, local authorities, the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the police - to deliver events to high standards of safety, security and service for everyone attending or working in the venue.'
