It comes days after the kiss scam scandal involving married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot.
Their ducking reaction to being filmed at Boston's gig has caught the world's attention - with millions now talking about an alleged affair.
And while many might seize the opportunity for a public smooch, Messi seemed to go bright red given the circumstances.
Footage circulating on social media showed the Inter Miami star smiling sheepishly, while Antonela, ever graceful, beamed beside him.
With everyone in the crowd cheering "Messi", the couple waved to fans before Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin serenaded them.
Martin, who had jokingly called out Byron and Caobt's potential 'affair' during his performance last week, thanked Messi for coming and called him "the No1 sports person of all-time".
And it didn't take long for fans online to see the funny side.
One wrote: "They should have tried to hide for a second. That would be hilarious."

Although not spotted in the viral clip, Antonela later posted snaps of the couple's three sons enjoying the show at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Thiago, 12, was pictured wearing a Coldplay cap, while Mateo, nine, wore a snazzy pair of 3D glasses as Ciro, six, cuddled into his dad.
Meanwhile, Messi was serving a one-match suspension for Inter Miami's game against FC Cincinnati on Saturday.
The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and fellow Barcelona legend Jordi Alba were punished for skipping Major League Soccer's All-Star game earlier this week.
Both players missed Wednesday's match in Austin, Texas where the MLS squad posted a 3-1 win against Mexico's Liga MX All-Stars.
Elsewhere, Humiliated Byron and Cabot quit their jobs at the tech company as a result of the scandal.
And Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow was hired by Astronomer for a tongue-in-cheek video, in what fans are describing as a genius PR move.

UFC fight descends into bloodbath as both fighters are left unrecognizable in Las Vegas
UFC stars Chris Duncan and Mateusz Rebecki were left unrecognizable after their co-main event descended into a bloodbath on Saturday night. The lightweight stars faced off at UFC Vegas 108 and made sure to give fight fans their money's worth as they viciously battled throughout their three-round bout. Heading into the fight, Scottish star Duncan was the bookie's underdog but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise given Rebecki's state by the end of the fight. The Polish fighter was left disfigured, bloody and bruised after being on the receiving end of a striking clinic from his Scottish counterpart. It was enough to earn Duncan a unanimous decision victory, however, some would argue that the Scottish star hardly 'won' given the brutal damage he also suffered. The 32-year-old had nasty cuts across his face - including one deep gash right below his left eye that appeared to cause him some concern during the fight. However, in the end, Duncan battled through and it was Rebecki who wore the scars of defeat upon his face come the final bell. Notably, Rebecki's right eye had become incredibly swollen throughout the fight and the Polish star was hardly able to see out of it by the final round. The judges scored it 29-28, 29-28, 30-27 in Duncan's favor, which saw him extend his professional MMA record to 14-2 - in one of the biggest upsets of the night. The bout was so thrilling that it caught the attention of a number of prominent names within the UFC. Recently retired star Dustin Poirier wrote: 'Bravo men!! What a WAR!! You both should be proud'. Though it may be hard to believe, prior to their fight in Vegas, Duncan and Rebecki were teammates and both trained with American Top Team. Speaking ahead of the bout, Rebecki revealed: 'For me, it's difficult. We live together. He lived behind my wall. It's a funny situation because nobody in the world has that situation. 'You have teammate and an opponent in a place where you live. It's hard for your mind, but you can be better because you see how he trained. 'If you rest, your opponent go to training. When I see he go training and running, I want to do more. A couple minutes more running or go earlier to sleep. 'Do more than him. It's motivation. Stressful of course, but I didn't want to fight with him because he is my teammate.' In the end, it wasn't meant to be for Rebecki on the night and the pre-fight favorite picked up another loss - moving his record to 20-3. The gruesome scenes comes just a week after one fighter was left with gruesome injuries at UFC Abu Dhabi. UFC fighter Mohammad Yahya suffered a horrifying eye injury which saw it swell up to the size of a tennis ball after a brutal beatdown from Steven Nguyen. The 32-year-old knocked down his rival six times, smashing the record for total number of knockdowns in a single fight in the championship's history. The previous record of five was shared by Jeremy Stephens (who defeated Gilbert Melendez in 2017) and Forrest Petz (who defeated Sammy Morgan in 2006).

Amber was previously wed to Pirates of The Caribbean star Johnny from 2015 to 2017, and they were involved in a high-profile defamation trial in 2022. She was ordered to pay the actor $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages, which she argued she didn't have. The jury awarded the actress $2 million in compensatory damages for her countersuit against Johnny. She is now a mother-of-three, as she has four-year-old daughter Oonagh in addition to her newborn twins — daughter Agnes and son Ocean.

Rockies lose pitchers Seth Halvorsen (elbow), Antonio Senzatela (finger)
August 3 - Colorado Rockies closer Seth Halvorsen threw just five pitches in the top of the ninth inning before leaving with an apparent elbow injury in the Rockies' 8-5 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. The rookie right-hander recorded two strikes before three consecutive balls against Pittsburgh pinch hitter Spencer Horwitz. After missing on a 99-mph fastball, Halvorsen spoke on the mound with manager Warren Schaeffer and head athletic trainer Keith Dugger before exiting the game. Right-hander Dugan Darnell replaced Halvorsen and finished the game. "It don't look good," Schaeffer said of Halvorsen's injury after the game. "It's his elbow. I'll let you know tomorrow." Halvorsen, 25, is 1-2 this season with a team-high 11 saves as well as a 4.99 ERA, 21 walks and 36 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings over 42 relief appearances. He has a 3-3 career record with 13 saves, a 4.15 ERA, 23 walks and 49 strikeouts in 52 innings over 54 appearances since making his major league debut in August 2024. Colorado selected Halvorsen in the seventh round of the 2023 MLB Draft out of Tennessee. Halvorsen had Tommy John surgery in his freshman season at the University of Missouri before transferring to Tennessee and becoming a reliever. Also on Saturday, the Rockies placed right-handed starter Antonio Senzatela on the 15-day injured list because of a blister on his right middle finger. In a corresponding move, Colorado recalled rookie left-hander Ryan Rolison from Triple-A Albuquerque. Senzatela, 30, last pitched on Friday, going two-thirds of an inning and allowing eight runs on seven hits and two walks in 31 pitches during Colorado's 17-16 home win over the Pirates. Schaeffer said the finger blister affected Senzatela. He is 4-14 this season with a 7.34 ERA, 38 walks and 55 strikeouts in 103 innings over 22 games (21 starts). He leads the majors with 14 losses, 159 hits allowed and 84 earned runs allowed. For his career, the native Venezuelan is 43-58 with a 5.22 ERA, 255 walks and 513 strikeouts in 795 innings over 170 games (143 starts) since his major league debut with the Rockies in April 2017. Rolison, 28, is 0-0 with a 7.34 ERA, 15 walks and 18 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings over 22 games (one start) with Colorado this season. --Field Level Media
