Is the ‘Superman' 2025 Movie Streaming on Netflix or HBO Max?
It's been less than a decade since star Henry Cavill hung up his cape following Zack Snyder's Justice League films, but the DC Extended Cinematic Universe is back at again with yet another Superman reboot. This time around, director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad) takes the reigns, and David Corenswet stars as the Man of Steel, aka Kal-El, aka Clark Kent. Clark is an alien from the planet Krypton who crash-landed on Earth in Smallville, Kansas and was adopted by a human family. Under Earth's yellow sun, Clark has all kinds of powers, including flying, super-strength, super-speed, X-ray vision, and more.
The new Superman movie also stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Superman's love interest; and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Superman's nemesis. Additional cast includes Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced. Reviews have been positive thus far, so here's what to know about how to watch the Superman 2025 movie and when we expect to be able to watch the Superman 2025 movie on streaming.
Right now, the 2025 Superman movie is only available to watch in a movie theater when it opens in theaters on Friday, July 11 You can find a showing near you via Fandango. However, we do expect the Superman movie to be on streaming eventually.
Superman is not streaming on Netflix and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is a Warner Bros. release, will have a streaming home on the Warner Bros.-owned streaming service, HBO Max. If you want to watch the new Superman movie at home, you'll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on HBO Max.

The Superman 2025 HBO Max release date has not yet been announced, but we expect to see the new Superman man streaming on Max sometime this year. All the new WB theatrical movies end up streaming on Max, though the wait period has varied by title. Another recent WB movie, Sinners was released on PVOD about a month and a half after opening in theaters, and began streaming on HBO Max on July 4, about two-and-a-half months after it was released in theaters. If Superman 2025 follows a similar release pattern, you may see the movie on digital around late August 2025, and streaming on Max around early October 2025.
But that's pure speculation. The Warner Bros. home releases have varied by title. If you want to see the new Superman movie ASAP, your best is to catch Superman in theaters.

Those ticket sales boost the dinosaur adventure's international tally to $297 million. 'Jurassic World Rebirth,' which rebooted the decades-old property with Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, has crossed the $500 million milestone globally with $529 million to date. Third place went to 'F1: The Movie,' which added $38.5 million overseas and $51.5 million in its third lap around the track. The Apple Studios racing drama, starring Brad Pitt, is impressively nearing $400 million worldwide. Revenues currently stand at $257 million overseas and $393 million globally, strengthening its position as Apple's highest grossing movie to date. In other box office news, Disney's 'Lilo & Stitch' is moments away from becoming the year's first billion-dollar release. The live-action remake has become hugely profitable, generating $579 million overseas and $994 million globally after eight weeks on the big screen. While a dinner party often makes for a lovely evening with friends or business partners, there are some etiquette mistakes you should avoid. For instance, you don't want to be the one to make things awkward with an inappropriately timed or themed gift. This was the topic of discussion for professional cook and cookbook author Ina Garten and journalist Willie Geist during a live Sunday Sitdown on "Today." At one point in the interview, Geist emphasized that dinner party guests should not bring "a gift that messes with the plan of the evening," and Garten agreed. The "Barefoot Contessa" noted, for example, that there are certain kinds of foods you shouldn't take to the party. You also don't want to inconvenience the host by giving them like flowers without a vase. Garten told Geist, "There are two things that I don't think you should ever bring to a dinner party, and they're so common, is something that the host feels like they should serve. I mean, starting with, like, Jell-O salad. What are you going to do with that?" She added that any flowers should be brought in their own vase so that the host doesn't have to fuss about locating a container while other guests are arriving and need to be greeted. While certainly distinct from Garten's suggestions, it does still fall in line with the Barefoot Contessa's rule that it shouldn't be an item the host needs to serve.
