Linkin Park refuse to play poignant song live after Chester Bennington's death
The musician died by suicide in 2017 at the age of 41, leading to an outpouring of tributes from fans around the world.
The group, known for tracks including Numb, In The End and Faint, went on an indefinite hiatus following their loss, but reformed last year with Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn returning to the fold.
Emily Armstrong was announced as their new lead singer, with Colin Brittain joining on drums.
They are currently jetting around the globe on their From Zero world tour, but rapper Shinoda revealed that some tracks won't be performed.
'I think we all wanted our show to be really good vibes,' the 48-year-old told the Guardian. 'I want you walking away feeling like, this was such a wonderful, special, fun night.'
Unpacking the setlist, he shared that there were hits that he would 'feel weird playing', including One More Light – which was on Bennington's last Linkin Park album.
He explained that it was originally written 'for a woman at the label that we worked with who passed away.
'Then after Chester passed, the world decided that it was about him. And so that's just too sad to play.'
Shinoda founded Linkin Park in the 90s, along with Delson and Rob Bourdon, with Farrell and Hahn joining shortly after, followed by Benington.
They went on to become one of the biggest rock bands of all time, with hits including One Step Closer, Crawling, Papercut and Somewhere I Belong. More Trending
The group dropped seven albums together, and one collaboration with Jay-Z, before the lead singer's death in 2017 – which came just months after their One More Light record was released.
After a break of nearly a decade, the group announced their return last year, unveiling Armstrong's position as lead vocalist.
Following their efforts at the Champions League final in May, the rockers will be bringing their From Zero tour to New York this month ahead of performances in Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, LA and more.
From there, they will be traveling through Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Mexico before appearing in Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Riverdance's Michael Flatley makes bizarre bid to become Irish president
Riverdance star Michael Flatley will seek nomination to become Ireland's next president. The 67-year-old choreographer, who stopped performing in his late 50s, intends to move back to Ireland in the next two weeks ahead of a runin this autumn's election. His plans were confirmed by his barrister during a hearing for an Irish High Court case relating to works underway at his mansion in Cork. The American-born star, who created a number of hit shows credited with reinventing traditional Irish dance, is eligible to run thanks to his Irish citizenship. The presidency of the Republic of Ireland is a largely ceremonial role currently held by Michael D Higgins. The 84-year-old's term ends in November and, having served two terms already, he cannot run again. Flatley's run would follow a number of past attempts by celebrities with no political experience. In 2018, when the last election was held, three former and current judges from Ireland's version of Dragon's Den ran against President Higgins. Mr Flatley's entry in the race is not guaranteed: he would have to hit a threshold of nominations from either members of Ireland's parliament or its county or city councils. An affidavit signed by his solicitor states he is 'to seek nominations'. The election must take place in the 60 days before President Higgins' term ends, and is expected to be held in late October. Danny Dyer issues four-word response to the man who won his lookalike competition
Former EastEnders star Danny Dyer discovered the winner of a lookalike competition based around him and did not hold back with his response Danny Dyer was recently the subject of a lookalike competition, and was amazed that he and the winner shared one detail in particular. The actor, who is best known for previously starring as Mick Carter on EastEnders, was the subject of a special contest that saw bearded blokes in tracksuits arrive in London for the chance to be crowned champion. In the end, Mike from Southampton emerged victorious and while he did not necessarily bear much of a resemblance to the former soap star, he was impressed with the outfit and the fact that they appeared to share the same double chin. When Danny saw Mike dressed in a white and maroon Sergio Tacchini jacket that was very similar to the one he wore in the 2005 film The Business, he exclaimed: "Did you nick it?" before adding: "You have got the same double chin there look!" Looking round to see that he was surrounded by several lookalikes, Danny, who came to prominence in the 1999 film Human Traffic, added: "This is like me ageing through the years." After all the excitement had come to an end, Danny joked: "This is a very surreal for me and I have realised how much I don't look like Danny Dyer anymore!" Meanwhile, competition winner Mike spoke of his surprise at winning, telling one's ever told me I look like Danny Dyer, but I've lived a similar sort of childhood — working-class," before Mike joked: "I'm obviously very good-looking, very charismatic, and a geezer." The competition, titled Who Can Be the Most Danny Dyer, was judged by Bigstuff co-stars Ryan Sampson and Harriet Webb, and the final 12 was decided on looks alone. Those lucky enough to make it through to the final four had to recite famous quotes uttered by the TV star. And when the final two came down to doppelgänger Richard and ultimate winner Mike, the champion was decided based on who had the most knowledge of the soap favourite. As part of his prize, Mike got to actually meet Danny but admitted that he "didn't expect to win in the slightest", whilst he felt like he had already met the star in the flesh just by being next to his runner-up. He joked: "I had fun, it was interesting. I thought the guy with no hair should have won this — but it's all fun." The new series of Mr Bigstuff, which stars Danny, broadcasts on Sky and NOW, with the latest instalment resuming mere weeks following the shocking revelation that the siblings ' father remains alive. Lee Campbell (portrayed by Danny) and his brother Glen (Ryan Sampson) have responded to the startling disclosure in contrasting ways, yet manage to come together as they endeavour to locate their dad. Another beloved character making a comeback for the sophomore season is Kirsty (Harriet Webb), who finds herself "taking charge in the bedroom and the boardroom". This season will see a huge EastEnders reunion as Linda Henry, known for playing Shirley Carter, stars in a guest role. Additional returning cast members feature Adrian Scarborough as Ian, Fatiha El-Ghorri as Aysha, Victoria Alcock as Sue, Ned Dennehy as Bunny and Clive Russell as Uncle Ron. EastEnders stars Alan Ford, who played Stevie Mitchell, and Linda Henry, aka Shirley Carter, are also on board 'I love Linda,' Danny, said who starred as Shirley's son Mick in the BBC soap. 'I wanted more scenes with her.' Both actors were inspired by their own lives to nail the chaotic relationship. 'They're at each other's throats, aren't they?' says Ryan, 39. 'I have siblings, and we sometimes tear strips off each other.'

Mario and Peach are just 'good friends' says Nintendo despite kissing for decade
Nintendo has poured cold water over any romance between Super Mario and Princess Peach, but the company might want to check the tapes. Mario has been saving Princess Peach from Bowser's clutches ever since 1985's Super Mario Bros., but their relationship has always been left somewhat ambiguous. There have been countless kisses over the years, at the conclusion of various games, including an awkward smacker on the nose in Super Mario 64, but most modern titles have largely avoided insinuating there's any romance between the pair. At the end of 2017's Super Mario Odyssey, for example, Peach shuns Mario and Bowser's advances and hops aboard Mario's ship to go home instead. In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, meanwhile, there's no suggestion Mario is saving Peach in order to land a quick smooch. It seems Nintendo is determined to keep things purely platonic, as outlined pretty explicitly on the Nintendo Today app. In the post, which has been widely circulated on social media, Nintendo wrote: 'Princess Peach and Mario are good friends and help each other out whenever they can.' Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. While the latter part has ignited much sniggering online, some have now given up on romance entirely. 'If Mario is getting friend-zoned what chance does any other man have,' one user wrote in response. 'This is like one of the biggest friend zones ever made in the history of friend zones,' another added. More Trending If you want to know, the last time Peach kissed Mario is in 2019's Super Mario Maker 2, where the plumber jumps in jubilation at the top of Peach's castle, after getting a peck on the cheek. It's not clear if Mario's upset her since then but that would've been around the time Nintendo was working on the movie. While this might be a kicker for anyone hoping to see Mario and Peach end up together, and goes against Nintendo's own marketing around them for Valentine's Day, Nintendo has a history of being weird when it comes to relationships between its characters. The dynamic between Zelda and Link has been left similarly ambiguous over the years, and while there are hints at some kind of relationship in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, the voice actor for Zelda, Patricia Summersett, backtracked when she said they were 'in a relationship'. 'My words are misconstrued and the context is removed, to imply something I did not intend, for the sake of clickbait,' Summersett wrote on X in 2023. 'We are all 'in a relationship' w/ others.'
