Evanescence, K.Flay release 'Fight Like a Girl' from 'Ballerina'

June 6 (UPI) -- Evanescence and K.Flay released their song "Fight Like a Girl" Friday. The song plays over the end titles in the film Ballerina, in theaters now.
Ballerina is a spinoff from John Wick. Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) trains at the same Ruska Roma ballet school that trained John Wick (Keanu Reeves) to be an assassin.
They cross paths in a scene set during John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum. Eve's trainer, Nogi (Sharon Duncan-Brewster) tells Eve to fight like a girl, meaning figure out what advantage she has over male aggressors.
De Armas discussed her training with UPI, including how the film's behind-the-scenes trainers incorporated her unique skills into the action. UPI praised Ballerina's outrageous action scenes in its review, including a battle between Eve and villains wielding flame throwers.
The video for "Fight Like a Girl" shows Eve boxing, using her skills against bad guys, and encountering Wick again in the film's climax.
Evanescence singer Amy Lee also recorded the song "Hand That Feeds" with Halsey for the film.

'Sinners' to debut in Black American Sign Language on Max
June 30 (UPI) -- Max announced Monday that Sinners will stream with a Black American Sign Language version on its service. The film debuts on Max Friday and makes Max the first streaming service to debut a BASL version of a film. Max previously included ASL versions of Barbie, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and the series The Last of Us. The announcement specifies that BASL features "unique grammar, signing space, rhythm, facial expressions and cultural nuances." Nakie Smith is the interpreter for the BASL edition of Sinners, directed by Rosa Lee Timm. Timm also directed Max's ASL interpretations of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and A Minecraft Movie. Max confirms ASL signers will still be able to follow along. Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan as twin gangsters who open a juke joint, only to find it under siege by vampires. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the supernatural horror film. The film was No. 1 in its first two theatrical weekends, grossing $45 million each. 'Silo' season 4 just got a promising update — and it's good news for season 3
I was not expecting a "Silo" season 4 update so soon. For those not keeping track, Silo" season 3 of the the Apple TV Plus sci-fi series has already wrapped filming, with a projected release date window of late 2025. But the dystopian drama is now already about to film season 4. In an interview with ScreenRant, "Silo" season 2 cinematographer Baz Irvine confirmed that the show was getting things started on its final season. "No, no, three is actually just finished," Irvine told the outlet. "But, interestingly, I met the director, Michael Dinner, who I worked with on season 2 … he made the decision to stay on and do season 3 and season 4, [and] they're actually about to start season 4." We've known for a while now that "Silo" would be taking a page out of the "Slow Horses" book and film seasons back to back. 'There's a big location that we're going to introduce toward the end of Season 3 that plays a very big role in season 4, showrunner Graham Yost told Empire (Yost, coincidentally, also is part of the "Slow Horses" production team). "And because we shoot all 10 episodes [of each season] at the same time, we had to write season 3 and then basically go right into writing season 4.' So, in theory, we're still on track for season 3 to hit the streaming service by the end of the year, with season 4 likely coming sometime in 2026. But what if we're actually ahead of schedule? However, if "about to start" refers to any time in the next week or two, the show's production would be running a whole month ahead of schedule. The show should take the time it needs to get things right, to be clear. But in an age where shows take 2-3 year breaks between seasons, the idea of a show that only goes a year between seasons running a full month ahead of schedule is a refreshing change. Watch: Stacking skills with cards and Jenga blocks earn man 4 world records
June 30 (UPI) -- A Chinese man known as the Card Architect for his stacking skills broke four Guinness World Records in a matter of days, including one for stacking 3,149 Jenga blocks on a single block placed vertically. Tian Rui broke his first Guinness World Record about three years ago, when he made a 27-layer tower to claim the title for tallest house of cards built in one hour. His record was since broken, so he reclaimed the title in April with 32 layers. Just a few days earlier, he had claimed the title for the tallest house of cards built in 8 hours, managing to construct a 62-layer tower. Once his card titles were claimed, he turned his attention to Jenga blocks, and broke the record for the most Jenga blocks stacked on one vertical Jenga block, 3,149. He capped off his record-breaking streak by attempting the same feat with Giant Jenga blocks and earned the title with 918 blocks stacked. Rui said his years of practice have made him an expert stacker. "It's like second nature now," he told Guinness World Records, "I just flow through it."
